Stopped for Dinner and to try something new. I appreciate that you get to fill out the menu of what you want. Everything was fresh and flavorful. It was a little pricey for what it was but definitely worth a try. There staff was helpful and very friendly.

Staff was very friendly and welcoming. There are self order kiosks or you can order from the counter. They will hand you a menu and you check the box of what you would like. (I took mine to my table and filled it out.)Take it back up to counter they put your order in give you a number. I had traditional Ahi Poke and all I can say is it was so ONO (GOOD). I lived in Hawaii for 10 years and I felt like I was back on the island. I have tried other Ahi-Poke I even tried to make my own it was not as good. Oh and don’t forget the BUBBLE TEA Yumm…..

Best boba I've ever had hands down. The Poke bowls are so unique and delicious; it's definitely worth the money. Service is always fast and workers are so polite and friendly. Ive had boba from places outside of Indiana even, but Pokeman still has the best. Ingredients are always very fresh, and I recommend going here with friends.

Made a random decision to try this while passing through town and I was pleased with my choice! Tarp bubble tea was on point. I got the salmon mango poke bowl and found myself with a very happy palate. Satisfied all the things, sweet, salty, crunchy, etc… I could not eat the whole thing despite not having eaten earlier that day. Would recommend. Service was fine too. No frills and that’s ok!

Been a while since I’ve spent time in Merrillville, so I made it a point to try something out of the ordinary. POKE-MAN is a lovely stop just off of US-30 that has a myriad of different options to create your own dish. Personally, my bowl was comprised of: tofu, tofu skins, sweet onion, jalapeño, red onion, red cabbage, shredded carrots, sweet corn, bell pepper, shredded nori, and green onions. That’s only a small sample size of the massive list of choices, with options as uncommon as snow crab or BBQ Eel. In terms of drink, they have milk bubble teas, fruit teas, and the fruit slushies, to name a few. I had the Strawberry Fruit Slushie, which was absolutely heavenly after a long day on my feet. The consistency of the slush I would attribute as a blend of a smoothie and a slush, to give a sense of the feel. Very nice drink. With easy, healthy options like this when I’m out and about, I can definitely see myself coming back next time I’m out this way.

I was never into poké until I had some from here. I also had my fiancé have some and now we’re craving it over regular sushi, which we never thought would be possible. 😂 You get a HEFTY amount of food for what, $13-15– When ONE signature sushi roll is that same price?? We’re already planning on going back in a couple of days. Also, my favorite taro drink is from here now.

Wonderful Customer Service, the Woman at the front desk let me try things I was curious about (like the noodles and sauce). Such kindness and openness for a business to have. It was fast service as well. I will certainly be back many times over! Food is so fresh too!! Hands down one of a kind business in the area! Get yourself a Poke-Bowl!

Excellent poke place. Probably the best poke place outside of Hawai'i (we live on island...are here for the Indy 500 and to visit friends). Prices are reasonable. There is a menu that let's you build your own poke bowls or they have items already to be assembled. Usual choice of drinks for eater to soda, but also boba teas (my wife loved the taro tea). Workers friendly and knowledgable. Theu also had samples for stuff we were unfamiliar with. I took a picture of their poke bowl menu to help you see how you can assemble your own bowl. Overall a great poke place that we'll probabyl visit when we make our annual pilgrimage to Indiana for the 500.
