After 5 days of Arizona Trip (Grand Canyon,Sedona, Antelope Canyon).
We're craving for Filipino food and we found this gem in Chandler, Arizona
ššš. Home cooked meals, we enjoyed the Crispy Pata, Pork Sisig and Pork Sinigangššš
The owner was pleasant and accommodating. The place is clean and cozy. Food prices are affordable.
Thank you!
Great place!! My family was on vacation in Arizona from NY and since we are Filipino, we were looking for a Filipino place to eat. While we were in Page, AZ, we met some Filipinos who live there and they recommended we go to eat At My Place Cafe when we go back to Phoenix. We are so glad we went!!
Hands down the best Filipino food Iāve eaten in America! We have a lot of Filipino restaurants in New York, but this place tops them all! So much attention and care goes into the meals. They arenāt cheap at all with how they prepare the food. They really do keep it as authentic as possible, donāt skimp on the ingredients or take shortcuts (like other Filipino restaurants Iāve been to do) - itās really great quality.
We ordered Kare-Kare, Crispy Pata, Pancit Bihon, Ube Halaya Cheesecake and the Biko. Highly recommend them all, especially the Kare-Kare. Thatās really the best Kare-Kare Iāve had and Iāve eaten Kare-Kare all my life.
To top off the great cooking, the owner Lisa is also super nice and pleasant. Really cares for the restaurant and the food prepared like she is cooking for her own family. In fact, it turns out they were closing when we walked in and she so nicely decided to just cook for us even off hours since we walked in. Such a uniquely nice gesture.
I only have positives to say about the experience.
This is the best Filipino Food in Phoenix. The service is amazing, and the atmosphere is really chill.
Great authentic food. I was recommended to eat here by a coworker at work and I am so happy that I did! I 100% recommend the pancit and the sinigang.
First time trying Filipino food at At My Place Cafe. We ordered 5 dishes and they were all amazing. The one that really stood out was their Sizzling Sisig, perfectly crispy pork belly with an egg on a hot plate. So delicious! Will definitely be back to try more of their dishes.

I didnāt expect to find an authentic Filipino restaurant while visiting Arizona from NJ. But when youāve been on the road and traveling more than a week, eating out every single day, home cooking is something you miss terribly. At My Place Cafe definitely delivered. Thank you for the amazing food. Andā¦because I HAVE TO order crispy pata everywhere I go, I have to say that your crispy pata is THE BEST Iāve ever had. Super crispy on the outside and very moist, tender, fall off the bones on the inside. So Good! This will definitely be a stop everytime I go back to AZ.
This place is fantastic. This was my first time having this type of food. Pricing and portions are great. I left stuffed. I had the pork sisig. It was delicious. The staff is very pleasant and welcoming. 5 stars.
Our New Place? I was kind of pessimistic about going to another Filipino restaurant because the cost of food to quantity of food was not proportional. I would always ask my wife, why is Filipino food so expensive and so skimpy on the food. Youād think they were Chow King or Jollibee!?! However, I believe My Place Cafe is going to be our Place Cafe for Filipino food. The cost to food quantity was just right, I can actually say I got full. That I couldnāt say at Halo Halo, which was also a good distance across the valley. The manager was cordial and pleasant with her customers. The place was clean, no flies, tables were not sticky and didnāt rock. I didnāt go into the men restroom, however wife said women restroom was clean. They even got my grill order correct, ādonāt over cook my egg yolkā. The only minor setback was trying to get a refill of water. Otherwise, this is a place we will comeback to again. And hopefully, they will still maintain the good service and food. Going to Las Vegas for Filipino Food and staying on The Strip will always be an option to vacation to, but since we found something closer in the EV, weāll stay in Arizona for now.
I came for Filipino spring rolls, which were very tasty. For the entree, I had Pork Sisig, which tasted like nothing I had ever eaten before. I love places where those native to the culture outnumber everyone else - let's me know the food is authentic!
My spouse and I stopped in for lunch the other day. This place is kind of tucked back like a real hidden gem. Being new to Filipino cuisine, we ordered the pork sisig and the lechon kawali. They were so delicious. We ate every last bite.
During our meal, the owner came out and had a discussion with us. She was such a sweet person and explained to us that everything they cook is a family recipe she was taught as a kid. She also gave us some explanations about other menu items since their menu does not have descriptions. (Which we did not have issue with since Google exists but appreciated her explanations nonetheless)
We do not live close by but we will absolutely be coming back!
My wife had a craving for filipino food, so we thought we would try this place out based on a friend's recommendation. We're new to the area, so we weren't exactly sure where it was. The place was hard to find off the main road, but once we got in, we felt like we were home. The service was very friendly and the restaurant was clean and bright.
We settled on ordering Pancit Guisado, Bistek, Lumpia Shanghi, and Sinigang. As a Filipino, no one can cook better than Mom, but this would be a close second. The food was flavorful, the meat was tender, and the serving portions were filling.
Overall, we love this place. We definitely see ourselves coming back to try the other dishes. If there was one thing I could complain about, it would be that it's a little bit of a drive from where we live.
Omg DINUGUAN!!! Iāve been craving it forever and they had it!! Great assortment of food! Smelled delicious in there! Also there is a Filipino store next door!! It was closed at the time so I didnāt get to stop in. But this restaurant is very clean and the food is delicious!!!!!! I want to go back over and over again but unfortunately Iām from Iowa š«
I definitely recommend!!!!
So good! The Sisig has good char on it and great flavor. The Bicol Express is very creamy and mild.
Atmosphere is good and staff friendly. Definitely give it a try! If you haven't tried Filipino food some safe bets are adobo (meat simmered in soy and vinegar) , sinigang (sour soup), and fried lumping.
Come by and try! Very good.
Also, the rice is delicious.
Highly recommended Filipino Restaurant in Arizona. Sisig tastes really good and also the suman. Plus, the people working here are nice and friendly. Thank you At My Place Cafe!
OMG! Sooooo ono!!! I totally stumbled on this place and Iām so excited I did. I felt like family the minute I walked it in! I love mom and pop restaurants like this! I will be backā¦ and Iām bringing some friends!
Super delicious Filipino food. We ordered catering for our Party. the Pork sisig, Kare Kare, egg rolls and Pansit bihon are all very tasty. Our American and Filipino guests have enjoyed the food. I will definitely order from them again for my next parties.
Visited town to meet a friend and thought to eat some breakfast to start my morning. So i ended up ordering bangsilog (bangus that comes with rice and egg). Was the first person to come in soo the waiting time for the food was fast. People here are very friendly and welcoming. They have really good customer service. The food was delicious as well! Would recommend and would definitely come back again!
