Went for Saturday lunch. Had free run of the restaurant / band side for multi generation get-together. Perfect. Food portions are generous, but the menu is pretty much limited to bar food (burgers, sandwiches, fried foods). Prices are super inexpensive, so load up on the meal.
I stopped in The Trough to order some takeout on Thursday night, sat down at the bar with a Bud Light while I waited on my order and I wish I could've stayed and eaten. Not only is this a great local bar and grill, these guys do not stop working hard here, which I HIGHLY respect, because they're service is impeccable. I ordered their Mama's Grilled Cheese, and I believe it was their Rib Brisket, which was for the family. And I ordered their Sliders and Bacon Burger. Needless to say, they were all Awesome! π People that come here are fun, great to talk with, helpful, and 'chill' as the kids say. It's not a loudmouth kind of atmosphere here at all, which makes it more welcoming. My family and I will be back spend some time here. I hope to get my buddies out of their homebody comfort zone one of these days and take them here too, especially when there's an event going on! Very well done! Next time I order, I'll post pictures of their meals too!
We just happened to be in the area and discovered this place! so happy we did, food was good , service was fast and friendly. Super cool vibe! Definitely will be back
Seemed like great little place to go out dancing and have a good time..my wife and I went for lunch club sandwich was great the Philly was burnt I sent it back but they handled it very professionally service was great we would go back again
Stopped in for a quick lunch waitress took our order brought our drinks right out 5 minutes later here comes our food hot and delicious. Now if this had not been my first time eating there I probably would have dropped a 5 Star rating on them but I like to make sure that that kind of service and food wasn't a fluke and more the norm. I have enjoyed the bar and the bands over the years but never ate there until now.
Little dance floor and 4 or 5 pool tables, one of the bar tenders there Greg, spoke to me expressed he worked there for like 25 years and they just fired him, now he's over at luckies,whatever goes around comes around! Maybe I see you there haha!
The music was a bit loud but it is a bar. Service was good. Food was good. We will be going back

And the reason I put a four-star instead of I start for overall was because I've entered that place before and had been ignored by the bartender I guess because I was a female I'm not sure what her problem
Came in and sat at the bar bartender walk by like four times never looked at me never glanced at me never said a word to me and then disappeared came back again did some things behind the bar and walked off again so after 10 minutes of my phone sitting in front of me watching the time I decided to walk out
Robby, the bartender, was outstanding. The food was pretty good. Two people in our party ordered Mushroom Swiss Burgers, but they ran out of mushrooms. Burgers were perfectly cooked.
The main room by the stage has antiquated fluorescent lighting. You feel like you're at a nighttime baseball game. Management should consider updating light more conducive to a dining/entertainment venue.
Dim those lights down to match the mood.
I mean all this to be constructive criticism only. This place has a lot of promise.
We had taco salads,best ever.
Our waitress was beyond great, we even tipped her $20! (Very obvious she enjoys her job, she was so fun.) My aunt lives in Mesa, in the neighborhood, she eats there often with her friends. My cousin and I were visiting from Wa. And Or.. The band had the dance floor packed, I was wishing I could visit more often. ππ
We did not eat anything while we were there, but it was a great place to hang out with our family and friends
I went with three friends last Friday night, and had an awesome time. The singer for the evening was phenomenal, and the food was tasty. We got up and danced several times. 10 out of 10 for me!
