Trust me the place on the outside doesn't look like a good place to eat but it's not about the place and how it looks its the food, and the food is A M A Z I N G! My family loves Chinese food and this is the closest one to our house, and it's also really good! 10/10 great place to eat!
Nothing fancy but oh-so-good! Worth your visit if you’re around these parts....this review has to be one hundred and fourth characters so I wrote two extra sentences. Enjoy the place.
Both the General Tso chicken and the sweet and sour pork were really good. Egg rolls were delicious and had an interesting twist - tasted small amount of cinnamon. Sounds weird, but it worked. Fried rice is not their best side.
Amazing. We love this place. Made to order. Egg foo young is awesome. Sesame chicken can't be beat. Try Ha Shrimp.
Since we moved from an area that had many great Chinese restaurants, we've struggled to find a good one around Mesquite until tonight - great sesame chicken and thoroughly enjoyed the Kung Pao chicken. Will be back again soon!

Best Chinese on the Planet. My family has been eating @ Pine Tree Garden for as long as I can remember. A friend introduced us to the place. Ellen, the restaurant manager, has seen my daughter grow up from birth to age 19. She is now a junior in college.
We have eaten in many restaurants in the D/FW area and non compare. Even P. F. Chang. We have traveled extensively from Orlando, Florida to Tennessee to New York and nothing is as good as Pine Tree Garden. Every time we crave Chinese food and eat it in another state, we tell ourselves that we will never make that mistake again. But we do, and we can't wait to get back home to have the most authentic Chinese around. When we eat any where else we always feel as if we are cheating on our local restaurant.
In fact, when my family comes in from Tennessee, every one gets something different and we set it out family style and all share, that's when it is truly the best.
The staff is never rude and is always upbeat. Our family usually orders takeout and picks it up at the drive-thru window. Ellen never hesitates to poke her head through the window to say hello and ask how the family is doing.
We have eaten in the restaurant several times and the service is just as great. The restaurant is always clean, including the restrooms. I have seen her insist that the employees go back and clean it a second time if it doesn't pass her inspection.
She runs a tight ship and it shows in the quality of the product the restaurant. In all the time we have ordered from Pine Tree, and it's been very numerous, they have gotten our order incorrect exactly once. In over 19 years, just once. I don't know of any place that can say they have that kind of record. At least not in our book.
Keep up the good work Pine Tree. Ellen, you are the best!
I've been going here ever since I was a little kid. I always got their beef fried rice, and it is the best! I love this place.
I drove a little out of my way to try this place because it had a high rating. I'm glad I did. I ordered the General Tso and it was fantastic! This plate of General Tso is the one by which all others must be measured!
Best Ever. We have been going to Pine Tree since it opened 19 years ago. The service is great. They always add new things to the menu. They cook it when you order it, so you can get as spicy or mild as you like. My son orders extra meat for just a few bucks more. Great value! The kids that work there are very respectful and polite. Love it!!!
Grate chinese fresh food whitout the fancy place and fancy price my favorite beff brocoli.

Good Stuff!!. My girls love the orange chicken, while I enjoy the Hunan chicken. Garlic sauce is just right, & the soups are very good. I am very happy they are in my neighborhood!!
My husband and I went there for lunch because we had read such wonderful reviews. We liked it alot. We thought the food was very fresh and super good. We decided to invite 10 of our friends to go there for dinner on Friday night. I called and ask them if they could set up a table for the 12 of us. When we arrived, they had it all set up. The service was fantastic and the food was super. Everyone loved it. They even served us a complementary dessert. I would highly recommend this place. You will not be disappointed.
Its the best chinese I have EVER had. Great ppl who work there. Im am 21 yrs old and have been going there since they opened in 93 &they havent lost their touch. If u r looking for a good price for a good amount of chinese then go to pinetree garden wont b disappointed, promise.

Love IT!. My family and I have been coming to Pine Tree Garden since I was teeny tiny lol! It is so great! I dont even live in mesquite anymore and any chance that I get I drive 30 minutes to get it. If you have never had it before I highly recommend it! You wont regret it.
Pine Tree is AWESOME!!!! I have been comming here for years. I have tried all the other area Chinese Restraunts and none of them compare, in price, or freshness being made to order. Great food @ a Cheap Price, with Great Friendly service! I have been eating here since I was a kid and now I bring my kids. Trust me you won't be dissapointed!!
Im a lifer. This is by far the best chinese that you can find. It is super cheap and you get a great amount for the price. Also it has the best beef dishes. The beef and broccoli is to die for. I must say i ask for extra brown sauce but they are so awesome, you can totally customize your order. They have the absolute hands down brown sauce. I have been going there since I was in 6th grade. My heart belongs to Pine Tree Garden. The owner used to always give us free toungue splashers.
Pretty tasty based on what’s available as for Chinese 🍚🥡🍛 restaurants in the Mesquite / Balch Springs area. Service and cleanliness are everything and in my opinion, this place offers them amazingly. Seemed to be pretty busy during dinner time for take-out, although it does have a fairly decent size dining area too. Menu is typical of most similar type restaurants. I do recommend this place, if you are in the mood for some Chinese food. 💯
Wow what a hidden gem. I came in with no real expectations, and was so pleased. I ordered the pepper beef and it was delicious. The brown sauce was very rich and flavorful. Our host in the restaurant was attentive and very pleasant. We will for sure be back!!!

Came here for lunch with a few coworkers. We all enjoyed this place. The staff is extremely friendly. First place I have seen that had Orange Fish, and it tasted great. Would recommend this place any time.
I love their egg rolls, they are home made!!! I also love their sesame chicken extra crispy, just the way I like it!!! This place is the 💣 bomb!!!😃😃😃😃 if a person said the food was bland or nasty, they must of had covid 😛

The combination fried rice and egg rolls are always fresh, yummy, warm, and very delicious meal that hits the spot. The portions are absolutely awesome for one meal or two depending on your apittite.
