I wish I could give this place 10 stars! Everything about it was amazing. The service was by far the best we have ever had (and we have done some traveling). Rafael was our server and was very informative. He was attentive without being overbearing or pushy. It was truly the perfect combination. Nothing went missed. The manager stopped by at our table a couple times to make sure we were happy and had a great sense of humor. The food was phenomenal. We ordered their tiger prawn for an appetizer which was seasoned and cooked to perfection. My husband ordered the filet which came with a sauce, scalloped potatoes and green beans. It was delicious. I ordered the bolognese with their handmade pasta. Hands down, the best bolognese sauce I have ever had and I’m usually not a fan of the wide flat pastas but it was amazing. We also ordered the ricotta ravioli with the creamy pesto sauce, it was delicious. The creme brûlée at the end was the perfect touch to the perfect meal. We cannot wait to come back next time we are in town. We will definitely be requesting Rafael our next trip.
Osteria del Teatro it was... it is..and will be the best restaurant in Miami beach... best food and best service... top of the line service !
Best food in South Beach, and the staff is great. We've eaten here three times and had wonderful food and service on each occasion. Beautiful space, too.
This place was phenomenal. Service was amazing. Our waiter was very well informed about the menu. The food was fresh and done well. We will definitely be back.

We happened upon this place by way of a Yelp rating. We didn't have a reservation but that sat us quickly in the bar area which was perfect for 2. The bartenders were informative about the specials and the signature drinks. Everything was moderate compared to the tourist food on Ocean Dr. Everything we ordered was from the tradiational menu fare. Vodka penne $20 and Fetuccini Carbonara $20. We split a Cesar salad $10. The Bellini was served chilled with a surprise cherry at the bottom instead of a peach. This was both interesting and delicious. The standout though was the Passion Picante with Avion Silver Jalapeno infused, Passion fruit , natural lime juice and filthy® olive with Piri Piri peppers. This is an absolute must have. I cannot imagine that we will ever travel to Miami again without eating here for dinner. I look forward to trying out the Marlin Hotel as well. I think it was the atmosphere and the exceptional service that truly makes the place special. Great job!
I haven't been to the new location but I have no doubt the food remains incredible and the service is the best I have ever experienced. If you're going to be in Miami, do yourself a favor and make reservations to eat here.
The service was by far the best. To me the service and friendly conversation made the hole experience. And the food oh that was DELICiOUS also. Very nice place
My husband & I visit Miami once a year in February to escape the long, cold, dreary winter in West Virginia. With the abundance of fine dining establishments that Miami has to offer, we rarely dine at the same place twice, however, Osteria del Teatro is an exception. The food & service is definitely worth a repeat visit.
When your heart is truly so happy because you’re with your favorites at your all time favorite restaurant. We come all the way from tampa because there is nothing like this place. We love it so much!
