It’s a beautiful place, nice attention there, for me the amazing eggplant parmigiana and risotto, I’m vegetarian it’s delicious for me eat there every time

They treated me wonderfully...the food was very good. I had the chicken Marsala and it was good my only suggestion is to serve it with mashed potatoes or roasted potatoes not sliced potatoes. They tasted like au gratin without the cheese. The prosecco and cappuccino both were excellent. They brought me the wrong dessert, I ordered chocolate fudge cake and I got volcano cake with ice cream. But it was phenomenal! Overall, I loved the experience. ..the servers were so wonderful I hugged them as I left... I will definitely be back!

Every time I visit there shop it feels a memorable experience.
Last night I felt a little adventures and wanted to change, the server suggested fresh mozzarella burrata with prosciutto as an appetizer, OMG delicious fresh as it can be, my wife had a risotto frutti di mare that was to die for and I order there 10oz filet mignon that melt like butter in my mouth, that is how tender it was and for dessert there classic signature apple pie( I never try such a great dessert in my life) service is always up to par and friendly, manager checked on us a few times and mentioned valentines specials. Hopefully I am in the gables around valentines. Buon appetito!!!!
Food and service was great, but on top of that I got my cherry on top when server and manager came back to the table to return an extra hundred dollar bill I put by mistake (the check was $162, I usually leave 20% $32 if the service is above my expectations so I did, I give the check back to the server and ask for $5 back, right after 30sec. Server and manager come back and ask me how was that possible if there was $300 and that I possibly have made a mistake, and handed over the $5 I asked back and the extra $100 I put by mistake.
I don't usually write reviews if there is a restaurant I don't like I don't go back or if I like I do go back, defenetly I will come back I loved the honest action and experience they offered.

Fast service, a bit rushed, food good but very noisy inside the restaurant. It's a busy place for lunch but probably not good for relaxed extended dining. I'd go back though.

Never Dissapoints. Villagio consistently provides excellent food and service. I have tried several dishes there and they were all good. They are even fast enough to visit during your lunch break. I highly reccommend it!
Since I was a student at the University of Miami it has become a tradition for me to have lunch and dinner at The Villagio once per month.Beyond the good service the food is so consistant that I order pretty much the same thing all the time.Dinning inside or outside is amazing.
Huge Portions!. If you are looking for great atmosphere and very good Italian, try Villagio. The chicken parm is very big and its served w/ potatoes au gratin. The motzerella is very fresh and I the prishutto tastes great. My service experience wasn't the best but I just think I got a bad server. Everyone else seemed to get a strong service. The desserts are awesome too. I tried the apple tart (which 3 people can eat off of) and the terrimisu which also tasted great as well. I would highly reccomend Villagio for a strong business lunch or a romantic dinner option! Happy Eats!
Must visit. We went on a Friday night. It was busy but I would rate the service was 3 out of 5. The food was awesome. The pasta was cooked just right. And the portions are herty. I would stay away from the chocolate martini... Other than that I would rete it 4 out of 5 overall.
When in Coral Gables you must pay a visit to Villagio Restaurant. We had the most deliciuous dinner with a very friendly service and atmpsphere. We will recommend it to all our friends and relatives

Visited a friend... Was visiting from the left coast and a friend told me about this place...Give it a 4/5... I wish we had this place in Port Charlotte, the menu is great and well priced the room a little noisy but all in all a great experiance.

One of my Favorites!. I work nearby this restaurant and come for lunch weekly. The service is among the best I've had. Whenever my sister and I go, we are always given champagne, antipasto, desserts and tons of extras (just because :)!) Even when I go with my boyfriend they are just as attentive ;)! The food is amazing - try the Tortelini Aurora. The salmon is great as well. As is the snapper francese! There are actually two locations and I have been to both. The managers really know what they are doing! Love this place! They offer brunch over the weekend and it is equally amazing!
Really Great Lunch. Go hang outside on a cool Sunday, sip wine, have a great tuna nicoise salad, seafood pasta and take in the beauty of the children running around in their Church clothes playing and chilling. This is a cool vibe at a great price.

Great value and personable service. Celebrated UM graduation there with party of 13. Our server, Alfredo, was very attentive, the food was great, and the price reasonable. Try the white sangria - it is wonderful! Too bad we only found this restaurant at the end of our time in Miami.
Okay Italian - Afforadable. If you find yourself in Merrick Park with no dinner plans and want to catch a quick bite, then this place will do just fine. But that is the extent of my involvement with Villagio for good reason. This place is maybe, I stress *maybe* half a step up from Olive Garden in food quality. That's no knock on Villagio, I've eaten at OG before too and it isn't bad in a bind. But like OG, Villagio isn't in my top ten (or top 20) Italian places I'd like to go.
My Favorite Place. I have never ever ever had bad service here - the food is excellent and, most important, consistent. Great ambiance and vibe here too - you cannot go wrong!
As my friend says: Scrumpdittilyumptious. I have been going to Villagio since I was in high school. Which means it's economic and delicious, however the moment i took a bite of their meat scallopini I wanted to stand on my chair and tell the whole restaurant to TRY THIS DISH. I mean it, it is amazing.
I am also incredibly fond of their seafood pasta, especially the vongole and most obviously, their bread. (hard to believe anyone would go to a restaurant for BREAD? You have obviously never been here).
Mix of classics and new dishes. Villagio offered fantastic service and an extensive menu. The two breads offerred at the beginning of the meal were quite tasty and made a good appetizer. I had Risotto with shrimp and was supremely pleased. The shrimp was perfectly tender and the risotto was creamy. Overall, an excellent dining experience at an affordable price!
The Villagio. For the food you get the prices are very reasonable. Some of their dishes I have had at very expensive restaurants and the taste has not been any better than Villagio, on top of that they have a very, very nice ambience.

I’m surprised with the reviews on this restaurant. I went shopping a month ago and took some time to visit the restaurant.
My experience was lovely. All the staff were welcoming, they took their time to explain the dishes, make recommendations and listen into what I was wanting.
I had a memorable experience with the angel hair pasta with sautéed tomatoes. It was a light sauce, cooked to perfection. The dish bursted in my mouth with simple yet rich flavors. The sangria was the perfect match.

Celebrated my husband's birthday yesterday. Excellent food. He enjoyed the lombata Parmigiano and I loved the manicotti. Service was outstanding by G. Yamilka and her assistant. My husband ordered creme brulee, the staff sang happy birthday and loved the experience. We will definitely make plans to return!
Sat at the bar, and Maikel Rivera was amazing. Ordered fettuccine Alfredo with chicken he suggested a side of pesto and it was the angels touch! Worth every penny and wait.

I ordered the veal chop from Villaggio. The veal chop was think. I also wanted extra vegetables instead of potatoes. I sat outside because this shopping area is nice in the afternoon. The food was good. The cause was good too. The broccoli tasted well on the veal sauce. Overall this was a good meal for a decent price in Coral Gables. The scenery was good and the menu has lots of options. I do recommend
Great Italian Restaurant with a good selection of classic Italian Dishes. We went for lunch, be sure to ask for the Lunch Menu, as they seem to default to the Dinner Menu. I highly recommend this place.

Nice environment and good service. Food was really taste. The waitress helps to get our dishes separated because we love to share food. The price is fair compared with the quality. I said that I like the focaccia and they brought more.. very nice.. Highly recommend!

The food was exquisite. I love Merrick Park. You can go shopping and restaurants. The ambiance was enjoyable and the service was excellent. The desserts are to die for.
Very professional, supportive staff. We were attended fenomenal from beginning until end. The food, splendid. Only suggestion, the Old Fashion, they serve with lots of ice in comparison to a large cube/circle ice.
Such good food with a really good price!!! You won’t get this kond of food for that price anywhere, specially in the US! My favorites are “fusilly al telefone” ehich is pasta with tomato sauce and mozzarella and as desert the AMAZING apple pie! It is my favorite apple pie EVER!! I have never eaten a better one yet - it is big so not for one person, but incredible! And the staff is always very kind and receptive! Good service as well!
All it really needs is a some music flowing in the patio and it would be awsome. Overall great experience. Great food. Desserts could have been at a better temperature. Mango cheesecake was warm and the flavors went missing because of the temperature. Overall good experience. There’s an umbrella that needs to be looked into because every time they open the door they hit and it starts wobbling. From a safety point of view, this needs to be looked into.
Really great bruscetta, nice toasty bread with tomatoes... my sister's porcini mushroom ravioli was very creamy and flavorful. My pineapple sorbet was in a cute frozen half pineapple. We were so hungry, I didn't get pics of the main dishes. Calamari was not crispy enough and the fried cucumber was too salty but most of entrées were good.
