This is a very wonderful and cozy place. For those who knows and love Toni’s sushi on the SoBe, this will be the second native home. The food is delicious, the service is homemade, the place is amazing and everything is just wonderful. Big thanks to Yoko and her team!

Quick, courteous and friendly service. Nice low-key atmosphere, good for conversation. Good quality and selection, and they we're willing to cobble a vegan option for me. My college-age granddaughter loved the Dragon.

Amazing ambience. Service. Food & well priced. Very hard to find all these elements in one place in Miami. (Moved here from New York City a year ago and normally I am never impressed with anything in Miami)

The road in front of the restaurant was being paved when we went there for lunch. So we were pleasantly surprised that the place was pretty busy when we entered the restaurant. We all had the lunch bento box. The food was great and the service was excellent. We'll definitely go back again.

One of the best hidden gems in Miami! It’s a bit off the beaten path, so there’s not so many people and crowds. The food is out of this world. Best tuna crispy rice I’ve EVER had, and my husband said the dragon roll was the 2nd best roll he’s ever had in his entire life. Which is saying a LOT!! And the rolls were super affordable. We also loved the orange chicken, the hamachi, and the desserts. Highly recommend this place to anyone in the area!!

Pretty good! The poke salad was definitely the standout! The pad Thai was definitely disappointing (dry chicken) but everything else was tasty! Got a reservation on the day of (Saturday night). I would come back for the poke salad.

Decent happy hour but not really much of a value. We had a large group and just ordered a bunch of items. Had a bite or two of a lot of different items and they were mostly pretty tasty. Just not that cheap per dish. The restaurant was pretty empty for most of the evening so that was kind of a red flag but we had a good time. Chocold Fashioned: Skip It wasn't bad but it's not really a combination that is worth having. It's a more funky and decadent old fashioned from the chocolate and coffee but nothing that actually improves the drink. Food: 7/10 Service: 7/10 Atmosphere: 6/10 Value: 5/10

This restaurant has good vibes. Staff is very friendly and supportive. They do have some vegetarian options as well. We ordered vegetarian dumplings, Pad Thai and Jalapeño Sushi roll(vegetarian). For us food was okay in taste. But I gave 4 star rating because of their generosity and service and of course ambience.

Very friendly waiters, food was really good and was made quite fast too! They also made custom sushi with a vegetable, that wasn't on the menu.

My mom and I had an amazing experience here last night. We have been once before and both times the service was exceptional and food delicious. We had Roxanne was our waitress last night and she was great. So accommodating and just an overall sweet woman. The hand rolls were phenomenal and the sushi was very good quality. So yummy.

Our experience at Shokudo was amazing. We enjoy everything including drinks and service. The menu is very broad so there is something from every taste. For appetizers We ordered the octopus which was so tender and with lots of flavor and also the shrimp shumai, we are pretty sure they are made in house because the filling was just amazing. For the main we went with the Ramen, really the best we have had in Miami, full of flavor and the toppings just amazing, specially the pork and the fermented eggs. We also try the Shokudo Sushi Roll, which was very generous and made with super fresh ingredients. The place has a very nice patio and also a separate bar space to enjoy happy hour or a nice cozy date. We tried the Margarita (amazing) and also a very nice gin and tonic with a twist. We are definitely coming back for sure to try other dishes because everything looks so so good.

One of my favorite Japanese restaurants in town. Been coming here for years, mostly because I’m obsessed with the spicy tuna roll, Orange chicken and the ice cold beer. The food quality is superb, the cooks do a great job of putting out consistently delicious and well presented food. My only complaints are the lack of parking, and on busy nights it can feel a little claustrophobic. But if you come on off hours, you are in for a treat.

I found this place by walking back from exploring the area with my wife We ordered a noodle soup, grilled octopus, sashimi & sushi for two and a flight of sake. The waiter recommended us to lower the size of the sushi which I respect that. He was honest and right. Food came and all of if was perfect. At the end the waiter asked me if he can surprise us with the dessert....said yes and brought us an amazing cobbler. The experience was great and great food. Price was right for the quality and service received.

This is a great restaurant in upper Buena vista part of Miami / next to the design district. . Dropped in for dinner and we almost overlooked this place—so glad we didn’t! Our waitress was on point and helpful with what to choose to eat. The sushi’s and Nigiri are top grade /tasty/amazing. They have lots of vegan items on the menu. Plenty of sake options and mixed drinks/beer to choose from. Parking is on the street (challenge) They have a few places to park as well -ask them for info. You need a reservation. Indoor and outdoor (in a small private patio) seating.

First time coming here (three of us for Christmas dinner 12/25/2020) and the place is awesome. The cozy bohemian vibe, excellent friendly staff, and the food are all on point. Everything from the starters to the entrees, down to the drinks and dessert. We started with Harumaki spring rolls, followed by the Korean steak, Orange Chicken, and Pad Thai, finished with their Lava Cake, and Thai Donuts. The Matcha Lemonade, was equally as awesome. Gem of a place right outside the hustle of the design district, made our Christmas dinner, five stars!!!

Hidden gem: best orange chicken in Miami. Ramen for me is always so so, but not here, the spicy ramen was perfection & really a 6 outta 10 on the spice / heat scale.
