Good food. Great empanadas. Good value for your money. Love these undiscovered places.
Was in Little Havana today and had a taste for Colombian food...this place was great!! Delicious empanadas at a great price. Thanks Urbanspoon!!
Good and cheap!. I was trying to fing a good restaurant that was also cheap and I hit jackpot with this place. What I love about Miami is that there are so many types of cuisines to choose from and it was my first time having Columbian, and San Pocho did not dissappoint. The menu is only in Spanish, but we had a great server who patiently explained what the different types of dishes were. We ordered a Morcaza(spelling?), which was corn layered with lettuce, cheese, onions and chicken, topped with their special red sauce and spicy scallion salsa. Excellent! I also got the carne asada with rice, red beans and sweet plaintains which was somehow only $6.95. We got the check and literally high fived...$12.00 before tip!
Good Colombian home cookin'. This is a place you come to for some good Colombian food. Why one reviewer went there for Cuban toast is rather silly, there are plenty of Cuban Cafeterias where you can get a quick Cuban toast. Here you have arepas, pandebono, hot chocolate and soft sweet bread with your "calentao" for breakfast.
For lunch or early dinner try the fried fish with arroz con coco and tostones. Delicious. And of course you have to try the sancocho, not your mom's but tasty nonetheless.
And it's all good.
Really likes this place in the heart of Little Havana. Great service. The food was really good and super tasteful. The ambiance was on point. I felt like if I was in a small town in Colombia surrounded by typical local art and a desirable feeling of perfection. A must do place whenever you are in the area.
Friendly staff who were very helpful with us n navigating the menu. Service was quick and the food was a good portion. Don't skip out on all the fun and tasty snacks in the store area before you go
Great food, very authentic, good service, good ambiance. If you are looking for good colombian food this is a good recommendation.
This is a great Colombian restaurant. It feels like we're in Colombia. The atmosphere represents the culture, and they sell products from Colombia. The food came in a timely fashion; the staff was nice. The food was great, as well as the homemade feeling. The only thing is that they should give more flavor to the arepa. Highly recommended!
Awesome little Colombian restaurant! Super fast service & delicious food!
Went w a friend and I had the mondongo soup while she had the fried fish. Both very good.

It is my birthday and I don’t even I have to ask, Maria and her crew came with full force and brought out our drinks and sang “happy birthday “ with bubbles & a candle in my shot with a sombrero. It felt so genuine. They are so kind and really make you feel comfortable I’m definitely coming back again!! Thank you Maria !!
One of the best tripe soups I’ve ever eaten.
This was my girlfriend and I first town resting here. She's Colombia and was craving Pescado Frito 😅. The staff was very friendly and the service was very fast. The food was also delicious. We were there on a Sunday and there was a nice crowd which consisted of mostly families. They also have many Columbian grocery items for sale. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely come back.
Absolutely delicious food and wonderful service. I ordered a bandeja paisa con Carne asada y mazamorra, both were exquisite. The chicharrón was soft instead of toasted and dry like at other places, the steak was thin but perfectly seasoned and not at all overcooked, the beans were delicious, the chorizo wasn't greasy, the arepa was perfectly soft and fluffy. My mom ordered a carne asada and the steak was huge! You will have leftovers to take home. My grandma ordered a tamal that was really good too. The food here is much better than a variety of Colombian places I've tried in the southwest Miami area. I'll definitely come here again.
Always good food! (Colombian)
Unfortunately sometimes they run out of my favorite dish: Mondongo! In any case, this is not a fancy place but their food is excellent. They don’t focus on tourists like many other restaurants and bars in “Calle 8”… Prices are extremely accesible. Traditional Colombian Empanadas, a MUST to begin… always,@ any time…
Sanpocho’s is a solid casual dining Colombian restaurant. I enjoy it a few times a month with my dad and neighbors for breakfast or lunch.
Food: the food is consistently fresh and well made. It tastes like authentic Colombian food.
Service: Standard. The staff takes the orders and brings the food out. Occasionally you get someone who goes above and beyond. They rarely bring out water unless you ask and they often seem nice enough and checked out. Not the worst by any means and certainly not the best.
Friendly service. I had an espresso and the Sanpocho breakfast. It was a huge helping of scrambled eggs mixed with rice and a corn cake. The bathrooms asked to throw toilet paper in the garbage-which is fine. At the time the toilet did not flush. I'd recommend this place and the vibe in nice.
Saturday morning adventure led us to little Havana. I wanted to have Colombian food, and after reading Yelp reviews on this place, I decided to give it a try. It's in a little shopping center so parking was a breeze. When you walk in its like a Colombian market where they sell authentic Colombian treats. We were greeted right away, and they said we could get a table anywhere we wanted.
As soon as we sat down, the waitress came over, and we ordered natural fruit juices. I got the mango, and my husband got the passion fruit. I highly recommend ordering these natural juices; they were really delicious and fresh. My husband and I both ordered the Calentao con Carne huevos y cafe.
Translates to steak and eggs with rice and beans.. You have to get this; it brings so much food and delicious food at that. We also ordered Pan de Bono, which is cheese bread, and they are devine.
Give them a try 😉 you will thank me..
This is a Landmark for the area, no better Colombian restaurant. I’ve been coming here for close to 15 years and the quality of food and excellent service has been very consistent. I Highly recommend coming here for a typical Colombian meal where you will be treated as if you were at their own home.
I loooovveeeee this restaurant. The Ford is really good Colombian food. I have gotten the Bandeja paisa, which it's delicious. Also the bistec con papá salada y ensalada it's a super big portion of sirloin steak that's EXQUISITE. The natural juices can be done with or without sugar. Try the mora juice is so good.
The food was good and the service was nice!
I was on vacation and looking for a nice place to have lunch with my 3 kids and I stopped there.
The Sancocho was the best.
All the juices really good and refreshing.
