After a late night flight into Miami, my brother and I needed to find a place to eat. All of our old Miami late night favorites were closed (which we were somewhat surprised about).
We accidentally stumbled on Rey's Pizza. They were open so we thought we would give them a try.
It is an unpretentious place, but the service was great, the food was very good, and they were open 24 hours.
We ordered the Mixta pizza. In general I prefer thinner crust, but I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of their crust. This pizza was loaded with cheese and had pepperoni, ham, mushrooms, onions, olives (I am sure I am forgetting some of the toppings). It was excellent.
Never had Cuban pizza before. So this time was a first. Everyone speaks Spanish and they have a wide menu. The pizza is very bready and there is a lot of cheese. It’s good but not that good
My husband and I love coming here for the delicious food. It's always a comforting and clean atmosphere. We enjoy the spaghetti with cheese and my husband also loves the lasagna they serve.
The service was great because shabelli knows how to speak english and understood everything what we needed. She was very heplful and patient when serving us. She was very attentive and connected with all of us.

We only had mamey's shakes which were DELICIOUS!!! I don't eat food there because I don't like the Cuban ways to make some Italian dishes. I particularly hate cuban pizza and the lasagna is make with some kind of chorizo and a different cheese (not Italian), I won't talk about the spaghetti because it also has a weird taste.
The Pizza is great and was out quick but it took forever to get our receipt because they seemed understaffed.
The food was great 👍. The service was a bit slow. And the atmosphere was in silence there were not a lot of people.
I have been coming to this particular Rey Pizza for more than 25 years, and I have always loved it. My favorite is the Napolitano Pizza. Very cheesy. I can honestly say the flavor has never changed, they remain consistent. The only bad thing I can say is that they have remodeled and made it bigger, which took away the original feel of the restaurant. It looks modern and new, which may be ok for most. I just like the historic spots that still look somewhat historic. It's open 24 hours which is great also. Try their batido de trigo also which is my go to shake.
First Landmark of "cuban-pizza" in Little Havana, still going strong
My first Cuban pizza, and if all Cuban pizzas are as good as the one I had at Rey's Pizza, then the Cuban pizza is the best in the world!! I ordered a Hawaiian pizza, it was Delicious!!!
The Best Cuban Pizza and Spaghetti, + another plates..On Miami.
If you like Cuban style pizza, this is the place to go.
Love rey pizza 🍕 I visited with family any time I go to Miami.
