Joe D is the best server ever! I’ve had him twice now and both time have been 100% perfect. He is kind, genuine, honest, has excellent recommendations, and has made both of my Firebird’s experiences amazing! I will always ask for him as my server when I dine at Firebird’s. Best server of all time! He makes every dining experience personalize for you and goes the extra mile! He bought my friend a dessert as a going away present � Besides the great food and Double Black Diamond martini, he is the #1 reason I will return in the future!!
It’s the second time we went to eat there. Loved it still. The staff is so very nice and welcoming. If something’s not right with your meal, the fix it right away. Our server Anna made several suggestions and was on point with them all! Going back for my husbands 60th birthday.
What an amazing experience of dining out last night my family and I had. I am not one to say this often, but from the moment we arrived, to the minute we left, our experience was first class. Our server was very attentive, timely, and dedicated to his each and every step. Our drinks and food were delicious, along with our cheesecake and carrot cake we took home to enjoy. I will highly recommend this establishment to all of my acquaintances. Thank you for making our night enjoyable.

Had a wonderful restaurant week meal. Filet was perfection and vegetables cooked just right. Service was very good. The only negative thing was music that was too loud for conversation.

Had lunch reservations for 2:30 today. Our waiter Mitchell was superb. Not sure that the restaurant knows how much of a quality staff member he is, but we noticed! His service was smooth, knowledgeable and surprisingly unobtrusive. You could tell he was experienced and that he genuinely enjoys what he's doing. 5 out of 5 stars.
Food quality was good, not a long wait either. Prices were a bit on the high side but not too hateful. Our service made up for the higher prices.
Consistently great food and service. The Delmonio (ribeye) sandwich practically melts in your mouth. We like the ambience and pace of service as well.
Lovely atmosphere, wonderful staff, and one of the best steaks I've ever had! Will definitely be back when I'm in town again.
Had Memorial Day dinner here and everything was excellent. Love the filet, it's always been good. Skipped salads so we could make sure we had room for dessert. The chocolate cake is awesome if you have room. Cocktails are always solid as well
Like many in this category, you tend to find only one or two locations to a city, but what it offers in quality and experience is above the bar.
One of the best weather days in Miami Valley period! I have wanted to try Firebirds for some time, arrived at 11:00 and the restaurant and staff were ready which is a plus, seated on there patio, very nice, ordered a Octoberfest beer and there signature "French Dip" the beer was out in 2 min. Followed by the meal in less that 5 Min. For $15,95 it was a little much for lunch, the mini baguette was toasted , prime rib was medium to well done but very tender, the Au Jus was probably from a mix but not too salty, fries were over seasoned index but Crisp.
Overall a good meal but I would not make it my signature dish for lunch.
Will return.

Ate lunch for my birthday and had a great experience. The staff is responsive, friendly and professional. The atmosphere is pleasant and the decor is inviting. We started with the Lobster Spinach Queso
(Lobster, baby spinach, tomatoes, pepper jack cheese, tortilla chips) Absolutely delicious. My mother ordered the Colorado Chicken Salad
(Wood grilled chicken, mixed greens, bleu cheese, sugar roasted pecans, dried cranberries, green apple, raspberry chipotle vinaigrette) She opted for the Roasted Garlic dressing which is fantastic. My father devoured a (made to order) Cheesburger that rivals any burger in the area.
I selected the American Kobe beef meatloaf. A culinary delight you won't find anywhere in Dayton or Cincinnati.
We finished the meal with a mouth watering slice of pumpkin cheesecake (Cheesecake Factory has nothing over Firebirds). Highly recommended! Enjoy Good Eats

Ate here tonight and thoroughly enjoyed it. We sat out in the patio which was very nice. Had the “Chili Guavarita” which was very tasty. We got the deviled egg appetizer which was very good as well. For my meal I had the bacon bleu cheese filet which was delicious and my wife got the sea bass which she was very happy with as well. Even the bread was fresh and very good. Would definitely come back some time!
I like my ribeye medium well+ which is usually difficult to make. This restaurant cooked it exactly as I like it (everyone has their preferences). The mushrooms are amazing. The complementary bread is thick, moist, but also soft. Entrance is at rear of building. Atmosphere has dim lighting, which adds a romantic experience to already comfortable seating. Staff is very friendly and professional. More to explore than just steak. Overall quality is proportional to price. Can't complain. Lively choice of music of casual country.
Edit: After exploring "similar" restaurants, I'm missing this place already and hope to return soon. It can be difficult to find unique restaurants that don't come with awkward twists. This place did not disappoint. 😀

Ambiance is very warm and cozy. Great for family night out or friends night out. Menu had several options for picky eaters and drinks can be customized. The food was delicious and served fresh. You’ll definitely need a reservation for a bigger party.

So I was driving back to Michigan from Kentucky and decided to stop here just on a random Google search for food near me. Do not, do not go anywhere else if you're in this area! They started me off with some fresh bread and butter and we were off to a good start! My server Michelle was so incredibly knowledgeable and helpful about the food here. Make sure to tip her well! For my appetizers I chose the lobster spinach queso and the Philly cheese steak egg rolls, both were phenomenal! They use prime rib meat and a Thai chili and hot mustard sauce that goes wonderfully together in the eggrolls! You will not be disappointed, the lobster spinach queso was aesthetically pleasing to say the least with the tri-color tortilla chips. The dip itself was creamy and fresh with beautiful lobster chunks that flavor the whole thing. For my entree I ordered the wood grilled salmon, this is probably the best time and I've ever had in my life. You will never be disappointed if you order this. I'm definitely going to make it a point to travel here in the future and stop here whenever I'm in the area, just too specifically eat here again.

Our server Olivia was excellent 💪🏼 We started with the lobster queso which was really good. I ordered the Cajun ribeye my husband had the bacon wrapped filet with shrimp. My steak was absolutely delicious my husbands was too 😅 lol…I really liked the wood grilled shrimp great color and flavor. But the southwest au gratin potatoes were best thing on the menu. I could literally eat those potatoes once a week 😂. I ordered the 7 layer lemon cake with blueberry compote. It was AMAAZZINNNGGG!!!! Great dining experience overall, The service the food and ambiance.
I definitely recommend reservations, got us right in and seated. This being our first time we weren't sure the level of dress, we could have dressed more casually and been just as comfortable. Our server was friendly and attentive and our meals came out in a good time. We all enjoyed our meals which were plated beautifully. Portion sizes were right at meal sized. Even with an appetizer and bread we didn't have leftovers but too full for dessert.
I LOVE Firebirds’ food. I like to place pick-up orders, getting kids meals. I prefer the kids cheeseburger well-done because it has less salt/seasoning than the adult one. Their fresh steamed vegetables were delicious! I love their TOTS (haha)! Pretty sure I got an Oreo cookie with the kids meal, too. (I will admit, I initially went there because that’s where Kim and Ye took their kiddos, when Ye and Chapelle came together for the tragic shooting in Dayton.) The staff I’ve encountered have been sweethearts, and the food was guaranteed to be delicious! Yay.
