Their food is always so good! I've never been disappointed. Yesterday, I had the corned beef platter. Delicious and sooo much food for the price! The desserts are amazing! Our waitress was so nice too!

The best diner so far. The service and food was spectacular. What a hidden gem and unique menu. I had to take a picture of my favorite part. Check out their omelettes. You won't be disappointed.

My friend and I stopped here on our way home after a trip to Vermont from Ohio. This was not just the best food we had during our trip, but the best Diner we had ever visited. The eggs were perfect, the Bacon tasted so delicious and the chicken soup was as close to my Grandmother's as anyone could get. Most people do not order soup with breakfast food, but this was our lunch and I wanted soup. My friend even ordered sandwiches to go for the trip home. i would visit weekly but it is 6hr 12min and 406 miles from my home

We loved it - easy, fast and good basic food. Hash browns made with just potatoes and the corned beef hash is just beef with no onions or peppers - perfect for me.

Five of us visited Village Diner on a Saturday afternoon. We ordered the Greek Fries, the Redneck (breakfast), and the kids and adult versions of the chicken strips. Food was great, service was good. The shakes and desserts looked great, and everything was reasonably priced. We look forward to returning.

Our meals were filling, hot, and left us very satisfied. My company said that her eggs were cooked exactly how she requested, and thoroughly enjoyed her quesadilla as well. I didn’t expect the sausage links to be so large!-Devoured them as well as my pancakes. Thanks for a great breakfast as we leave Pennsylvania. Also, what a lovely view from inside!

Pancakes were fluffy and plates are bountiful. The baklava pancakes were delicious and not overly sweet. They have alternatives for customers looking for gluten free plates. I really appreciate the coffee, it was not watery. Great service from Nani.

Amazing. Wish it was in my town! Huge portions, cheap prices, great service. Greek warriors skillet, spanakopita Benny, and baklava pancakes were all absolutely delicious, I'll be thinking about them for a long time! Home fries had a little smokiness, yum. Coffee was great too. Very kind servers went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed for takeout (stayed at motel next door). Adorable place, will absolutely go here again if I'm in the area! Forgot to take pictures of the food before we started, we were hungry and it was so delicious! 😋

Ate breakfast there this morning after staying for the night at Scottish Inns right next door. How lucky were we to be able to walk through the parking lot to such a gem! It’s a vintage diner with friendly staff and GREAT food! We had omelets, French toast and corned beef hash! Everything was delicious and fresh! I need to go back because there are some unique offerings that I need to try! Our server Ashley was a doll! So sweet and attentive even as they were being slammed with a huge Saturday morning breakfast crowd!

I ordered the beefteki but with a beyond burger. So good! Everything was fresh, including the crispy red onions, and the fries!!! The fries were the freshest I have had in a while, and hot for the whole meal. I really love fries and these were worthy. Janine and staff were bright and helpful! Thank you, Village Diner, for a good warm meal.

Love this vintage delight! Retro 50's original decor. What a fun throwback--the best part? Terrific eats. We ordered a French dip and a chicken Parmigiano sandwich. YUM! The homemade cole slaw and fries were great too So happy to fun yet another worthwhile eatery nearby. Next time I'm ordering a malt.

January 18, 2023 - I’ve been driving past this diner for over 50 years. . . So glad my wife & I stopped for lunch! 😃👍🏼 Pleasantly surprised by the friendly service & good comfort food! Located in Milford, at the PA/NY exit off Interstate 84. . . ( next to Matamoras, PA) there’s a 1956 old fashion silver streamlined art deco (looks like a train car) Village Diner. Owners are Maria Pagelos Wall ( sister) and Agisilaos Pagelos ( brother) who purchased diner from father, Dimitrios Pagelos in 2000. Hey, they’re Greek, and their Greek specialties are authentic tasting Greek good! Our server Leah met us at the door with two menus, said, “ Sit where you’d like !” As I walked past the pies, cookies, and muffins, I asked if the baked desserts were homemade? Leah’s “ affirmative”, suggested I should save room for desserts! 😃 My wife ordered the half sandwich combo w/fries, and the cup of homemade minestrone! I ordered the Greek Gyro platter with fries, and tzatziki sauce! As we waited, I snapped some photos of this classic diner. Only waited about 10 to 12 minutes. . . took me a few seconds to realize the tzatziki sauce was on the bottom of my Gyro sandwich. True gyro meat is a blend of lamb and beef, with spices ( onion, garlic, rosemary, marjoram, thyme, salt, pepper, etc.) . . . I thought my gyro was a bit over cooked, but still a marvelous Greek style taste! Five stars for a wonderful lunch ! Too full for desserts, oh well next time! Thanks to the cooks & Leah for a wonderful lunch ! What’s cool about this diner: 1. Open 7 days a week ! 2. Breakfast offered all day 3. Good selection eggs & breakfast entrees 4. Lunch offers soups & salads 5. Lots of burger selections 6. Real Turkey & Roast Beef sandwiches 7. Deli Club sandwiches 8. Quesadillas & wraps 9. Dinner offers old fashioned meat loaf 10. Steaks, Turkey dinners 11. Oven baked roast beef dinners 12. Pork chops 13. Comfort meals , “ not fancy stuff “ 14. Most desserts are homemade! 15. Ice cream milkshakes & frappes 16. Old fashioned Root Beer Floats * Fun Facts* Back in 1938, Les Daniel & Henry Strys started the Mountain View Diners Company! They sold 400 of these silver lined train car style diners across the United States 🇺🇸. Their company closed in 1957 . * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Officially, Greek people have told me that a “ G” in Greek is pronounced as “ H” ! Your Gyro sandwich is pronounced as “ Hero” sandwich!

I love that they have a more interesting menu than your average diner. The service was very friendly and fast. We were in a rush so this was appreciated. They have outdoor dining if you're not feeling safe or if you're not vaccinated. The food was exactly what you'd expect at a diner.

Excellent little spot right off the highway--great meeting place between upstate New York and the Poconos. A lot of traffic whizzing by the parking space, and a little bit of a wait for service but well worth it. The food was very flavorful and creative the baked goods cookies and desserts available where extensive. My omelette was tasty and fluffy and fresh. Not an accessible space however.

I would recommend it to anybody who enjoys a friendly atmosphere and a reasonably priced meal to go to the Village Diner. The staff are always friendly and warm. Enjoy a meal there more than once and the manager will remember what you ordered and ask you if you want it when you return. The food has always been prepared exactly the way I asked for it. They can even figure something out for you if you're a vegan.
