My boyfriend and I found this place completely by luck just trying to find a place to eat breakfast while up in Connecticut for a wedding, and I couldn’t have been happier! This place was absolutely magical! The staff were all super efficient and friendly, quick but not in a ‘we want you out of here’ kind of way, and the owner was an absolute sweetheart, coming around to talk to each of the guests. And on top of that, the food was spectacular, AND they had a wonderful Halloween/fall themed drink menu. The pumpkin milk was to die for, and the presentation was incredible. I can’t sing high enough praises of this place. If I lived closer than 2 hours away, I’d go there every weekend. If you are ever in the area, you need to do yourself the honor of stopping to eat here. I will definitely be going back!

😲 OMG! Got into a tiff with hubby one night and to make it up to me he offered to treat me here for brunch... yeah we live in Philly that's a 4 hr drive 😂! Didn't come that day but I definitely don't pass on this place whenever I'm in New England. Best breakfast, best owners and best staff!!!!
We had a birthday breakfast party for our little girls at The Corner this weekend. Michelle and staff were so helpful and made their day so special and fun. And as always, the food was perfection. I can’t recommend this spot enough! � Thank you!
I’ve been going to this restaurant for over 15 years! Hands down the best breakfast/brunch place in CT!! Highly recommended and their menu is one of a kind!!!
Great food, friendly staff and an excellent location. You must try the duck. It seems like an odd choice for breakfast, but it is worth it. When your meal is over you can take a stroll by the marina or feed the ducks up the street. I'll be back.
Oh, by the way. The hot chocolate is a work or art, so is the cider.
We go here once a week or every other week and we never get tired of it. We have our favorite dishes but whenever we try something new it's always delicious! The staff is great and we have become regulars here. I highly recommend coming here for breakfast or lunch.
I can I say about this place, everything is fabulous! The food, the atmosphere, the specials, its stupendous! I do recommend that you leave early to get here because it can get crowded. But if you choose to wait it's worth it.
The only downside is that there are too many spectacular dishes to choose from. It’s my favorite place to eat in town. Be sure to bring cash because they don’t take cards.

Simply the finest breakfast, and I've been to a lot of breakfast restaurants around the country and many in Canada.
Came here after being highly recommended by a friend. Was super happy with my visit. The food was delicious and the service was great! I love the quaint and homie vibes this place has to offer. Their almond coffee is a must try. Everything on the menu sounded so amazing it was hard to choose just one. Looking forward to coming back and trying more items off the menu!
This is a lovely, unassuming neighborhood restaurant with a remarkably brilliant menu. As guests enetered during my visit, the staff would shout from the counter, "sit at any clean table." They are attentive and friendly. It definitely has a warm, settled, family-owned feel about it, if you know what I mean.
I had come for brunch and I was torn between, "Malaysian spiced pulled pork topped with over medium eggs, crispy fried onions, and shredded ginger in a a crisp rice wafer bowl" and "South African Hash: A Spicy Beef and Lentil Hash over poached eggs and an English muffin topped with Bearnaise' sauce and crispy potato shavings." I said the menu is brilliant.
Opting for the former, I was not disappointed. While I love a Denver Omlet as much as anyone, this was a pleasant diversion for me from "the usual" and the fresh ginger slivers were a bright foil for the pulled pork.
I'm told they are in the national top 20 for brunch.

Had their famous duck breakfast wrap. It was pretty good but didn't amaze me given the hype. Tastes like a deep fried pulled pork burrito. At $18 the pricing is too high.
If you have not been, you NEED to go!!! The Corner has some of the most amazing brunch items you will ever have the opportunity to sample. The Duck...lives up to the hype and more! The Malaysian pork...the Peaches and Cream stuffed french toast...let's be honest, I've never eaten something here i have not thoroughly enjoyed...like, to my soul!!! It's eclectic dining room will give you plenty to muse about as well. And best yet, they will cater your next event! Make it a point to visit the Corner!!!
The Corner Restaurant is so fun and unique. You walk in and just feel like you are at a family members home. The waitresses are friendly and informative as well as quick. The kitchen is fast and they make delicious & simple food and bring it to an entirely new level. Their warm beverages make you want to take one to go (we did!). We will definitely be returning! Their prices are fair BUT BRING CASH!!! If you don't, they have an ATM.
Kim was so sweet she was efficient and kept my coffee cup filled! The flaky French flatbread was SO GOOD and my husband had the duck breakfast. My only downside was that it was cash only OR had to pay online. Kim directed me to an ATM but unfortunately it did not work for my transaction. I was able to pay online but did have to add the items to my cart that we had already ordered.
