I love their food so much! Everything comes out hot and fresh! Made to order! Short wait times and there's usually always a table or the bar available for seating when I come in here✨ they have the best polish food in the area! Highly recommend for that, the Mexican food looked really good, gotta try the American food sometime soon! Friendly staff and hilarious chefs! Feel at home when I walk in!

A very humble little spot with solid polish fair. They don't have latkes which I was sorely missing and they don't offer perogies in any other way than pan fried with potato filling (no steamed, no cheese, etc). The kielbasa was rocking and so was the city chicken. My 30lb 3yo devoured the sloppy Joe. That said, I've never been anywhere that doesn't offer a kids menu so that was weird. The combination of Polish, American, and Mexican is a little bizarre but everything we had was delicious.

I will call the owner, Lisa, my angel everytime I see her. My boyfriend had died and the family had not planned anything after the cemetery which was down the road. He was from a Polish family as well which is how I found her. 3 days prior, she called me back on a Sunday evening saying she could help. I was able to give her an approximate head count and she was ready for us! 40+ people with 2 staff. The 2 staff were amazing. They made it look easy. Later, I found out my best friend had a vegetarian goulash which told me it was fresh and not pre-made. My boyfriend loved to cook. Everyone raved about the food. I was able to offer a full bar, anything they wanted off of the menu, including appetizers, and dessert ( you should see the desserts!) for under $900. This included quite a few heavy drinkers with designated driver wives! The Assumption Grotto Schola choir boys are the best and losing the tenor will be missed. A lovely finishing touch was there is a coffee station with a tree of coffee cups. I would go around with the coffee pot and cups offering coffee to guests and my best friend would follow with the creamers and sugar. They had such a good time..many pitched in for tips for the two servers because they were so outstanding. If you are looking for a place for a funeral repast..5 stars...she also would have done a buffet if I wanted so the price I said was for anything and everything your guests could choose off the menu and bottomless drinking for (averaging) less than $20pp. Its a cozy place where family could push tables together..I know she has made new patrons from myself and others.. The city chicken was pork on a skewer just like my grandma used to make! I needed a take home box. Side note: My son in law ordered Mexican. I,too, wondered about the Mexican as that was an odd combination. I live next to Mexican Village so we dine there all the time. I asked him if his plate was as good as Mexican Village. His answer? Better. Guess you can save yourself the trip down!

Definitely not a chain. Homey atmosphere. Food tasted homemade. Authentic Polish cooking. The polish plate had a generous serving. Chicken livers were delicious. Best carrot cake ever! Our server was courteous and sweet. Ample parking.

Good ol' home cooking! I felt like a guest in their home. A nice young man waited on us. He made sure we were happy the entire time. Plus, he made me the a better tasting Long Island ice tea than I have gotten at several bars. Live music 🎶 played. A couple came in with children and he switch some of his songs to children's songs. Stop in & try this place out.

Amazing food and owners!! I have had nearly everything on the menu - all Polish and Mexican dishes, and the bologna sandwich. I come from a family of cooks and this food is truly down home goodness. No fuss or fanciness - just plain DELICIOUS! You will not be disappointed with anything on this menu. Thanks for all your work and sharing your food Lisa and Jim!!

Good food with homey atmosphere, Czapski's is our go-to place. Family and friends always suggest we meet there. We also enjoy the decor as many items remind us of our parent's homes. Supporting a local, family owned business is what keeps a community together.
