I am from New Orleans. Been looking for a restaurant that serves good old seafood and poboys. Been in Florida for over 20 years searching for a place. Found it. Best I had even from back home. This place is 5 stars. Need to try it. The bread pudding is out of this world. I had the swamp platter. The best. Took my beautiful bride who also is picky about her seafood. She state was the best. Highly recommend eating here.

My visit to Cosse’s last night has been a long awaited one. I’m glad I finally made it because I have found a new favorite restaurant! We sat at the oyster bar. The restaurant was busy so there was a little bit of wait between drinks and ordering but not too long. We understand how the service industry works! Once the food was ordered, it came out quick! We ordered stuffed crab(omg-the best ever!), alligator bites, frog legs(not my kinda thing), and the pimento cheese burger with the Mac and cheese with debris. Everything surpassed my expectations! Even down to the sweat tea, which was spot on. The atmosphere is also great with good music. Excited to go back for more.

Our first visit was yesterday Saturday afternoon 4/27/18, will not be our last time. Our waitress was awesome, explained the menu and made suggestions. My husband got the raw oysters with a bowl of gumbo. My husband is Cajun and very picky about his seafood gumbo, he likes a dark roux based gumbo and Cosse’s gumbo met his high standards! I got the shrimp poboy and corn & crab bisque. My poboy was as good as you can get, as my husband would say “ Talk about Good”! We both had their bread pudding with whiskey sauce, so so good! The only negative I have is I don’t like going out to eat at a Restaurant & eating out of paper plates and drinking from a Solo cup, maybe if your ticket was $15 it would be fine but that’s me, they may do that just for lunch, we will be back to try other menu items. If you haven’t given them a try, you should!

Best “home-cooked” food I’ve had in this area. Home-cooked = Cajun/Creole country and I know because I’m from Morgan City, LA. One tip - don’t eat too much food because you won’t have room for the bread pudding! OMG It’s to die for! Love dat!

I was recommending you guys to a friend. This is what I wrote, figured I'd add it as a review as well. You need to hit up Cosse's Place. I know its a bit of a drive to Milton, but it is truly worth it everytime I go. If you're a foodie or a chef, you know what I mean. Every meal I've had has been top notch! I order something new each time. Each item has blown me away. It's like a religious experience. The gumbo is loaded with proteins and taste like home! Gator bites are thick chunks of tail meat. Muffaletta is 10 in. in diameter. and it's olive salad will make you cry tears of joy. Debris Fries will make you question where they've been all your life. And don't get me started on the crab and cheese covered baked oysters. They are the best dressed oysters I've ever had in my life. The staff are always friendly and offer great service. The owner makes time for his patrons. If you enjoy chats about water life and fishing, you'll fit right in. I always leave with a smile on my face and in my heart because the recipes are made with love and everyone from the back of house to the front of house, puts in true effort. Its Life Affirming cuisine.

We were so surprised when we got to Cosse's its very well decorated and everyone was friendly! I love the charm of sitting in a house remade into a restaurant. The waiter was great he brought us refils for our drinks and gave great recomendations on food. The food was amazing!! The fried food had the perfect amount of breading and was delicious! I went with my family so we got to try a little bit of everthing off the menu. There was literally nothing I didnt like it was all well prepared and seasoned. I really enjoyed the solo cups and paper plates. Made it feel more like you were home with family and didnt want to do the dishes. We will definitely be back often!!

Tried Cosse’s last evening for the first time. Love, Love, Love! The staff was beyond friendly and accommodating, Sara Rocked! Alligator Bits were excellent...and that sauce...yummy! Gumbo is dark, rich and spicy; perfect! Excellent boiled crawfish. Highly recommend. Is definitely on our “frequently visited” list.

Wife and I are from New Orleans and decided to try it since we were in town. She had the shrimp poboy and I had the catfish poboy and boudin balls for an appetizer. Everything was delicious. Will definitely stop by when we go to the beach again!

Worth the drive to Milton from Gulf Breeze. We had the shrimp Po boy and fries w/debris. Sis had the fish of the day (fresh local speckled trout) with a side of jambalaya. Emma was our server and did a wonderful job. Even got to see the handsome Jeremy! We will be back. Looking forward to also visiting the Pensacola Beach location.

I decided to head to Milton today to try Cosse's Place to try a little taste of New Orleans. Looking at the menu, I was excited at the choices. I decided to start with frog legs, my friend ordered baked oysters with lemon, butter and parmesan cheese. The frog legs were fried perfectly but it seems that they forgot to season them. But they were plump and beautiful. The oysters were amazing, cooked to perfection. Next up we both ordered the fried trigger fish with french fries, seasoned and cooked beautifully! Our server was Erica, she was awesome! She never forgot about us and offered suggestions, loved her! Oh, don't let me forget the bread pudding that I ordered to go. Made from scratch and so damn good. A really delicious meal. 😋

Great local spot and really good food. This place might be worth the drive over from Pensacola, especially since Louisiana Lunchbox has shut down. They've got really good poboys and seafood. The debris fries (or poboy) are really well done. Laid back locals joint, good people and good food.

This place was great!! Service was awesome! And the food was delish!! I had the Seafood Gumbo although it didn't have a whole lot of seafood or sausage (plenty of okra) it had great flavor and I would definitely try again. My son got the Gator Po'boy of course I had to try it and it was so good, bread was fresh and soft and the gator chunks were a good size and yummy. My girls got a baked cheesy noodle dish well she's 6 so she loved it an again I had to try, had really good flavor and my other girl got a salad we aren't fans of the shredded lettuce for salads but she ate it. All in all we will go back for sure!!

Great staff and service. Went here for some local foods (try new foods I haven't had before) but they were out of gator, however we're informative about it and let me know early. I had the fried froggy butts and crawfish ettoufe and both were good. Nothing mind-blowingly awesome, but very good comfort food feeling. Quick service and very friendly staff.

Very good place where to eat some good fish at good price. I liked the look of the restaurant, it appears as a "classic" place over the beach (even if there's no beach). I have been there twice. The first time, probably for a misunderstanding with the waitress, I didn't try the big boiled crawfish (it was a little bit different), this time the season was over so unfortunately I wasn't able to eat that (and I never will). Anyway the food was good, last time I wanted to try the alligator and frog grilled and not fried so I got the big plate with a mix of everything. The oysters are good and the price is not bad at all. Also the house salad was really good.

Excited to show off our stylish new aprons from the talented Sue the Apron Lady! The team at Cosse's Krew are looking sharp and ready to serve up some delicious dishes. If you're in need of a custom apron or just want to add a pop of personality to your kitchen, let the restaurant know and they'll get in touch with Sue for you. #ApronsBySue #StylishAndFunctional #Cosse'sKrew

Great little ‘hole in the wall’ type place. Everything I’ve tried here is delicious! The pimento bacon burger is amazing, the po boys are enormous (get a half one unless you want to share), the fries are delicious, and the oysters are divine. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because the chairs are extremely uncomfortable. The booths are bad though so we usually opt for those.

We ate here tonight after a long day filming RV PLUS 10. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. Our server Madeline was on it with amazing customer service. If you are in Milton, this is a must. Portions are sharable for sure.

Had the crawfish etouffe (spelling?) and crawfish salad. Both were excellent. They were short staffed, but you wouldn't have known it because the server was very attentive. Will visit again$

Went on new years Eve, place was pretty busy but everyone was getting their food nice and fast. I had a ½ dozen raw oysters and a ½ dozen baked with herbsaint, spinach, crab meat and parmasean. Both were PHENOMENAL!! Hands down the biggest oysters I've ever had! They literally COVERED the crackers! The horseradish was fresh and spicy just right and their cocktail sauce tasted like something I'd made in my kitchen, which is pretty high praise in my opinion! Finished off with a plate of their delicious bread pudding. 10/10 would definitely go again.

10 out of 10 recommend. I am a New Orleans native. This is 100% real deal authentic! I loved everything from the atmosphere down to the best bread pudding only momma could make! Will most definitely be back, soon! Thanks for being a little slice of home to Milton.

Some of the best seafood we have ever had! We had a dozen oysters on the half shell, fried claws, and a pick 3 combo of fries, flounder, shrimp, and alligator! (Obviously not pictured because we gobbled that down fast!) with tip:$58 which ain’t bad at all!

Delicious!!! From the fresh 1.5 lbs of Cajun spiced boiled crawfish with sausage, corn, and potatoes for only $12 to the shrimp po-boy on fresh baked French bread then to top it off the fried oyster po-boy with briny plump gulf oysters in as light coating with shredded lettuce, pickles, and tomatoes served with the tastiest crispy fries I've ever had. The bar was open for seating so the hubby and I walked right in even during a holiday weekend. The wait for a table was about 20 minutes, but if wait for an hour to eat here if I had to. A definite must try in Milton!

Their servers are amazing. We had a guy server and he was very funny and witty and did a good job of accommodating the two of us and a toddler. The side dishes are huge like a main dish huge. I like spicy food but the jambalaya was too spicy, as in it had too many spices going on and it's almost too much sauce for the amount of rice. Everything else was good! The atmosphere is nice. We had a good time talking to the people across from us!

We loved this place! We shared a blue crab leg appetizer, each had a half po-boy & fries and shared a bread pudding all for 38$! Our tummies were full and we were very happy! New favorite 😋
