Visited for the first time - quant place to visit. Pizza was good - best with toppings. Not a fan of the bread sticks < disappointed it was left over pizza dough with parmesan cheese poured on-top. Would order pizza again.
Hands down the best pizza joint in Downtown Milton. Possibly even in the whole town. If Thomas Day was still alive, he’d probably have a dozen cabinets full of Millie’s Pizza takeout boxes.
We got the Mexican pizza which, come to find out, is not a traditional Mexican dish nor is it an Italian delicacy. It is, in fact, the creative genius of Aunt Millie herself. She had the incredible idea to breed a taco salad and a cheese pizza to create this 3000+ calorie Frankenstein pie.
My wife and I managed to only eat 50% of the 16” pizza which is as many casualties as Gen. Ramseur caused to Stonewall Jackson’s troops at Chancellorsville. So by Milton residents’ standards I think we did great.
I went here with the wife and mother in-law on our way back into NC from Danville VA because good friends of my mother in-law told her of this amazing pizza place with an incredible banana split in a small country town called Milton and we had never heard of this small town and we live about an hour and some change from here. First impressions were awesome because this place sits in a very quaint town that is very small and it's so small of a town that if you blink you will drive right through the town and not even realize you went through the town to begin with. Aunt Millies sits in an historic brick building that looks like it came out of a western. So as we approached the entrance we were greeted by locals that was enjoying pizza and some brews right outside on the porch and when we walked in we immediately felt that down home laid back kinda vibe and friendly southern charm that most businesses lack nowadays. After browsing their menu we landed on their subs because their meats come from local Amish people. The wife and mother in-law shared a steak and cheese sub & I had a kitchen sink sub with a cold bottle of beer. Their subs were a hit with us all. The bread was not too hard or too soft and they were so fresh and delicious. After the subs went down the hatches we all shared a banana split and this was a banana split on a whole different level. The banana split consists of NINE SCOOPS OF ICE CREAM! Yes you read that right NINE SCOOPS OF ICE CREAM! Three scoops of strawberry, Three scoops of vanilla and three scoops of chocolate all served on a plate. The dining room was very clean and the employees here are very nice and respectful. I definitely will go back here and i highly recommend this place to anybody.
What a great little spot. My wife had been before, this was my first time. Doesn't look like much, but the food was good and the service and atmosphere were outstanding! Thanks so much.
Pizza is great and the banana split is one of the best things you will ever put in your mouth!
Food was pretty good. Subs were a little small and the pizza, but it was very filling and full of flavor.
Absolutely the best pizza around. Not only because they seem to have good ingredients but because of how they lay the toppings. Not sure if they pre cook some toppings or what but the toppings come out UNDER the heavy cheese and are still cooked properly. I recommend the Supreme. One or two slices will fill you up but you will want more. The beer is also modestly price.
The only knocks against the place is the small dining area and small menu. Come for pizza and beer only!
Their 9 scoop banana split is amazing.it takes two to finish it.you have to try it
