I enjoyed breakfast here this morning for the first time. It's such a cute location, loved the classical music and everyone was so welcoming. I had the buttermilk pancakes with bananas (the special version with the lemon crème anglaise and almonds). These pancakes are to die for. I can't even think of the last time I've had such light and fluffy and fresh tasting pancakes. They were so good I took what I couldn't finish home. I loved the bacon too, just a little bit of brown sugar caramelized, perfection. I would absolutely recommend Sabrosa to anyone looking for a delicious breakfast or lunch. Thanks for a great meal!
I had the corned beef hash and tasted the giant cinnamon roll and the blueberry-lemon scone, all delicious! I also enjoyed the live classical piano during breakfast...a wonderful experience.
So amazing! A hard choice between a sweet or savory dish we ordered both today! Highly recommend for breakfast or lunch.
This is a hidden gem! What a fantastic place to have breakfast on a Sunday morning. The food is amazing and wonderful selection. You can tell everyone that works there takes pride in their job. Customer service is outstanding this should be a must on everyone's list that lives in the area. I know I will return when I'm back in that neck of the woods! Keep up the great work you are all amazing
Omg it is so so SO good! Everything was amazing the decor was beautiful and the owner is just an amazingly talented chef. I high recommend this to anyone and everyone!
Wonderful place for breakfast. Pleasant atmosphere. Unique menu with delicious breakfast entrees. Service was friendly and prompt. Coffee was hot and always full. Enjoyed both versions of salsa. Breakfast today...lunch on the agenda very soon.
Wonderful Mother’s Day brunch with fantastic, friendly service. Food selection was top-notch and those mimosas were amazing! We are excited to return on a regular menu day.
Sunday morning was our 5th visit to Sabrosa. Between the two of us, we've tasted just about everything on the menu, but this time ordered the special corned beef hash. Brussel sprouts put it over the top! This is high on our list (maybe the highest) of favorite area restaurants. Well done!
The food was excellent and so was the service! The place was loud and busy, a very happening place!
The food was amazing and the staff/service was by far amazing as well. Definitely a place where I would like to take more friends.
This is my new favorite breakfast spot. I’ve been here twice now and both times I left feeling 100% satisfied with the delicious and nutritious food. We enjoyed talking about the unique and creative decor-and the classical music playing in the background just added to the relaxing ambience. Thank you, Sabrosa! I’ve been waiting for you in my life for a long time.
Great new breakfast brunch place! Food was very good and service quick and attentive. My friends and I definitely want to dine there again!
Fantastic service from Greg & all staff, amazingly scrumptious food and super yummy spirits! A must try!!!
Came here for a friends celebration and ordered the shrimp and grits. The ambience was great, as they had live piano music playing as we were eating and have paintings hanging on every wall. The menu has lots of options, and everything that everyone got looked good. The shrimp and grits were good, but with it being my first time having shrimp and grits I have no reference to compare it to. The grits were sweet, which sort of threw me off though with the cheese sprinkled on top. It came with 4 large shrimp, which was enough to get me through the meal, but was somewhat hoping for more with the $20 price point. Besides the food, the bathroom was beautiful if that adds in to your decision in coming!
I had excellent service here at Sabrosa. The server was friendly, informative, and efficient. I sat outside, and it was a nice, relaxing atmosphere with the exception of a few persistent and unavoidable flies. I ordered the carnivore skillet. On the menu, it did not mention onions as one of the ingredients. I can not eat onions. So, I spent my time picking onions out of my breakfast(I am one of those people who won't send my food back). I don't know if the cook made a mistake or if the menu was not detailed properly. Otherwise, it was a tasty but expensive breakfast. Great tasting coffee, although the coffee cup was entirely too small. A couple of sips, and I was empty. I will give this place another try soon.
What a delightful brunch! Service was excellent, food was prompt, coffee refills without delay...great place to brunch! For a group of 9, it was awesome to be able to get a reservation by calling. The Apple and Brie french toast was perfectly sweet and fluffy French toast. The side of bacon was 2 thick, crispy pieces. Everyone loved their meal- only good options on the menu!
Visited for the first time and it was a wonderful experience. The food was wonderful and flavorful. Service was amazing. We sat outside since it was a nice sunny day
What an incredible place for brunch! Menu has an outstanding selection and the drink menu is great, too. We sat outside which was super comfortable and we were still attended to as if we were inside. Great food and service. Would have been a five star review except we waited for over 30 minutes even with a reservation.
My sisters and I went to Sabrosa for Mother’s Day brunch and it was absolutely delightful! We made sure to make reservations in advance since it was Mother’s Day after all. I arrived a little early to check in with the host who was very warm and friendly. After checking in I sat at the bar and enjoyed a drink before the rest of my party arrived. The bartender was very quick to take my drink order and also wish me a happy Mother’s Day. We were seated promptly after the rest of my party arrived (3 total). The server was very knowledgeable about the menu and took the time to go over the food and beverage menu with us. We started our sharing the goat cheese appetizer which was light and refreshing. I had the tortilla española which was delicious. The drinks were delicious and had the right amount of alcohol. Overall it was a great experience and I can’t wait to dine there again.
Absolutely amazing food and service! Love this place so much!
Sabrosa was a pleasant brunch experience for my partner and I. We visited on vacation from our close Airbnb and felt like we got a decent variety of food options. My complaint was that I felt everything was too pricey while I wasn't wowed by my selection (southern scrambler). My partner's breakfast patsy was also "pretty good". The staff was great and we felt well attended-to, and the only atmosphere bit I would change would be the metal tables and chairs outside.
We were seated outside at a pleasant table with plenty of space. Excellent coffee all around and mimosas for two. All orders came out together, hot and delicious! Our guests were happy with full tummies and positive comments.
The pasty made with puff pastry was great! Good coffee too! The service was great and the sidewalk seating had a relaxed vibe.
First time going to Sabrosa since before covid and I was pleasantly surprised that they have an enclosed heated patio! Inside, I was the only one there for an early breakfast, which was perfect for me (nice to have the place to yourself sometimes!). The staff here are wonderful and always coming back to refill your coffee. I got the chilaquiles with roasted chicken, which I liked. I’ve had the huevos rancheros before and that was tasty, too. This is a nice neighborhood spot that also features local artists’ work gallery style. Glad they’ve made it this far through the pandemic — thank you Sabrosa 🌷
We had breakfast outside under the heaters. After a delicious meal, hot fresh baked cinnamon rolls for dessert. It was wonderful!
Came for the 1st time because I saw they were nominated for Shepherd's Best in Milwaukee. Voting just ended so I don't know, but I hope they won because it was great! Friendly staff and cozy atmosphere.. while we were having drinks a woman came and played the piano beautifully. We got the specials, country fried steak and crème brûlée French toast. (I'm not fancy, I googled how to correctly spell that) LMAO
My first time to this restaurant and they had a nice brunch menu. Avocado mash was one of the vegetarian options and it was made well. Would have given a 5 star but the sauce was a little salty. Staff were very polite and friendly. Will definitely visit this place again.
This place was absolutely incredible!!!!! It is beautiful! I love the decor and the service was so nice. They all were patient and caring. JG the Host made the experience even better. His energy and personality was radiant. I couldn’t have asked for a better place! Completely Recommend this place!
Loved my first visit to this charming cafe! The coffee was amazing, perfect for sipping while looking at the art and just listening to the nice music and chatting. The atmosphere was warm and comfy, while also having plenty of eye catching things to make conversation over and the food we got was just as beautiful! Can't wait to come back again even if it's just for the coffee and pastries.
First time dining at Sabrosa's. We had breakfast on a beautiful sunny day on the front patio and it was delightful! The service was prompt and the food was delicious! I had the berry crapes and my husband had the cinnamon french toast plate. Food was delicious!
Extremely tasty, rotating brunch menu and the staff are so pleasant and welcoming despite how busy they are. I had roasted turkey hash benedict off the rotating menu and would drive back from Madison exclusively to have that dish again for brunch when it comes up again. They also had live music for brunch! What a great experience. I would 10/10 recommend.
We went for breakfast on a Sunday. The restaurant itself was dainty. It’s a cute place, definitely more home-y rather than posh. Our server was really nice and although the covered seating outside was colder, the heaters really helped. The food itself was good. I ordered the huevos rancheros and my friend got huevos with chorizo. The reason why I give 4 stars and not 5 is because nothing was really *amazing*. The food was good, server was nice, but nothing really stood out. it’s very casual, the menus are paper, and the tables were just fold out tables. Perhaps this place would be exciting for others but as for someone who is Hispanic, it felt very regular for me. Overall a very nice place but just needs a little something to make it stand out more.
