Went for brunch. Great atmosphere. Nice patio My burger was legit good. The mimosa- 4 stars, good OJ but we had splash of champange. For those of you waiting for a table Cafe Centraal your silly not to try this place. I guarantee the burgers Kindrid are 100% better. Lovley impressive space.

What a lovely transformation I had the burger with fries and I'm presently surprised kinda a burger snob.. So I had to try this, so much flavor yet not overwhelming.. On a brioche (my fav) w/ really fresh buttery lettuce.. I also recommend the chili 🌶 ketchup.. can't wait to return . To the owners, really fine dining in comfort.. Loved the community dinner table

I can't decide what we liked best. The service was impeccable! Everyone was friendly and efficient and gorgeous! The atmosphere... perfect lighting, cozy private tables and really comfortable chairs! And the food!! Every bite was insane! We had the mussels, the oysters, and the Salmon. They were all prepared to perfection! I'd go back today and do it all over again! Dont miss this place!

The atmosphere is chic yet cozy and the menu is well balanced and inventive, as promised. A wide variety of flavors and textures both in the food and decor. The staff, warm and attentive. Love. Welcome to the neighborhood.

I celebrated my 30th here last night and everything was incredible. From the crazy attentive staff, Madeline, Bridget, Will and a few other fabulous people whose names I didn’t get and the beautiful Owner Marija, to the atmosphere and the amazing food-it was everything I wanted for such a special night. Thank you!!

From the main dish to the garnishes, every bite was incredible. The decor is beyond amazing. People flock to establishments for not only the food but the ambiance as well. The attention to detail with Wade Weissmann Architecture, Schlagenhaft Studios & Peabody's Interiors is unmatched in the Bayview area. Looking forward to the patio in the summertime!

Really really liked it! So many good gluten free options on the menu and decent prices! I just with they had gluten free bread/buns to round out the options!

We tried the warm beets, mushroom spread, chicken piri piri and mussels in a coconut ginger sauce. Every dish was outstanding. The bartender was lovely and attentive even though she was super busy! A wonderful experience and atmosphere. A true gem.

Kindred offers delicious small plates and cocktails. We had the goat cheese croquettes, oysters, spaetzle, soup, and rib tips, and it was all fantastic. Great presentation and good use of ingredients that I usually don't really care for, but tasted great here. The atmosphere inside was pleasant and cozy, making us feel comfortable despite being a more upscale place than we are used to.

Unbelievable food in a beautiful cozy setting. We loved the goat cheese croquettes to start and both the salmon and sticky chicken entrees were amazing. The wooden booths with exposed brick wall and beautiful chandeliers were an unbelievable environment. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

Great food and drinks. The sticky chicken was seriously amazing. That said, the prices were a bit high for what you get. I'm pretty sure our whole group left still feeling a bit hungry. Also, the service was not great. We were sitting for at least 10 minutes before a waitress even acknowledged us. Additionally, we were considering dessert but she never even gave us an opportunity to ask about the dessert menu. Just cleared our main dishes and put the check on the table. Would be 5 stars if the service had been a bit better or prices were a bit more reasonable for what you get.

We had reservations for a group of 12 for a brunch birthday yesterday, and it was absolutely perfect. John was our server and he handed our group beautifully. The food was outstanding, and everyone raved about their meals and drinks (even the person who felt the venue was too ‘fancy’). I would recommend highly for the charming building and space. Everyone had a wonderful time.

From the moment I walked in the door, I was in love with this place. The atmosphere, the lighting, the seating areas, the restrooms, the vibe at the bar in the back room, the service, the menu choices. Now, the food was very tasty, however there were a couple of small issues that caused me not to give the 5 star rating. Ordered the cheese and meat board, which came with some type of meat that wasn't very tasty and was extremely fatty, and also the grapes were very over ripe and smoochy. Also ordered the scallops and on my first bite, I bit into something very gritty which was unpleasant. I didn't give up on the scallops, kept going with caution...finished without anymore grit and the rest was very tasty. Prices are a bit on the high side. They do have handicap access in the back. Would I go there again? Absolutely!

Another tucked away Milwaukee gem! Joined a group of friends for a truly amazing meal. We met up and enjoyed amazing cocktails at the bar, prior to being seated. The bar also has two large screen TVs if you opt to enjoy a drink and watch sports. The craft cocktails were on point and they do offer a nice selection of non-alcoholic drinks as well. The decor is an eclectic mix of modern and vintage, comfortable seating and with a number of semi-private seating options. There is also plenty of outdoor seating, although we chose to sit inside. The menu provides an opportunity to try both small plates and large sized entrées, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I would, of course, recommend the scallops as well as the beet salad...sticky chicken and desserts were off the chain. Customer service was on point. Our server, Lauren, was truly a gem as well. She should have her own comic routine! Highly recommend!

Food is absolutely fantastic. Had the sticky chicken, so so juicy and perfect but of sweet. Meatballs were tasty, burger was filling, scallop gravy divine, vegan tacos were delish n kid friendly and the desserts are very generous. Cocktails were weak and disappointing, may go with wine next time..but loved the ambience.

Great food and atmosphere. A little slow for delivering food, although the food was excellent. We had a large party, could have used a bit more attention for beverages. The money is in the drinks, keep them served and the customer will wait longer. Recommend for smaller parties looking for an eclectic menu.

Kindred boast a beautiful atmosphere, small plate dining and fancy drink selection without being to harsh on the wallet. Food: My wife and I had the duck poutine, goat cheese balls, beet salad and the burger. We have been to Kindred about 4 time now, and we always have the same comment when we leave: When it’s good, it’s REALLY good, however there are always duds. Goat cheese balls are so simple and great, we get them every time we go. Highly recommend, along with the burger which is solid and delicious every time. Our beet salad was very good as well, but portions were smaller than we’d have liked. The poutine however didn’t have much flavor, and our recollection was the same on the beef pasta in the past. Atmosphere: Intimate elegant is how we’d put it. It is almost like a rustic Blackbird Bar. Lot of space, and the staff is always friendly. Definitely a good choice for a fancy night out without a tax on your wallet. Service: Service has always been great. Food comes up quick, staff is very pleasant, and the bar staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. My score: 7/10. When the food is good, it is REALLY good. However, try a few items for yourself to determine. The prices aren’t too crazy that you can’t get a good number of items and try a good portion of the menu for yourself. A great option to take someone to impress. Our recommendation: don’t leave without trying the goat cheese balls in honey.

So far have been here 2x and both times we enjoyed great food served by friendly hosts in a beautiful space. Great ambience in a great neighborhood. The last visit I had a walleye beer battered cod and it was done perfectly. crispy crust (not greasy or soggy) with soft flaky fish, fries were perfectly crispy. other entrees shared and also enjoyed were the burger, filet mignon.

Gorgeous building, and a splendid patio out front, too. Happy hour specials were nice. My wife noted the food was a bit off from her initial visit, that wowed her. Little things, like the dates that were supposed to be filled with a tangy cheese, but were lacking that bite.
