Pretty delicious! Huge portions, great presentation, and it’s family-owned so you feel good spending money here. No regrets! The crab Rangoon could use some work so I took off a star for that - a bit too cream cheesy.

This is one of my family's favorite restaurants. They have have two menus: one for more authentic Chinese food and the general Chinese food. The general one has you typical sweet n sour chicken, general tsos, etc... The authentic menu has more delicacoes like roast duck, different veggies, crispy pork intestines, and the family meals. The food isn't too salty like most "Americanized" Chinese restaurants. It's definitely a good place to take a large group of people. And even better if that group takes forever to pick their food and/or are indecisive. Just get the family for two, three, etc... Meals.

So. Delicious. The quality of the food is authentic, fresh, and tasty, AND you can't go wrong with the price. The place is well kept and the bathrooms are clean. Enough tables for a single, double or a group of people. The ONLY reason why 1 star is missing is because they could work on their customer service. English speaking or not, anyone knows whether or not they're welcomed. Stop by here if you are in Milwaukee and have a craving for Chinese Food. Super yummy.. but don't say I didn't warn you about the service 😘

A lunch with friends who go often to the Fortune; other than excellent service was very unimpressed. The food was bland with a greasy egg roll and skimpy Rangoon. I far prefer the Kings Wok in Hartland for lunch; average lunch is much cheaper about $7 or so and made to order with superior quality.

Food was delicious. Had an American Chinese Menu and a authentic Chinese Menu. Large dinner tables with the lazy susan. We asked and they do not have hot pot.

Fortune is one of the very top Chinese restaurants around the city of Milwaukee. Fortune serves authentic delicious food. Fortune has gotten many awards over tge years, the restaurant was renovated a few years ago. They are very clean and are following sitting restrictions, masks are requiered (Covid) Restaurant has recently opened for dinning in. Prices are reasonable.

Fantastic dumplings, excellent crabmeat rangoons, and my favorite chicken in the world. Try the black bean sauced fish and tofu - it's incredible. Order family style so you can have more deliciousness on your plate.

This is our family go to for real Chinese food for my (Chinese) family. We usually only order from the Chinese menu and get all of our favorite orders every time. We go for birthdays and occasionally some holidays and also when we just feel like Fortune. We go so often, we have a special note with all our favorite orders. Sometimes, even something that may not be on the menu but the chefs take care of us! Here are some of the recommendations on what to get: -deep fried pork intestines -seafood superior soup -beef casserole -salt n pepper shrimp, fish, and/or squid -salted fish fried rice -clams/mussels in black bean sauce -8 treasure tofu casserole -stirfried Peabod leaves (occasionally if they have in stock and not on the menu)

Widely regarded by Chinese and other Asian people as one of the best places around. My wife is from the orient and this is one of our go to places and in the 50 plus times we have been there never have we had a bad meal. The problem with some who wrote negative reviews is many don’t understand TRUE Chines food. The term American cooked Chinese food comes to mind as many don’t like the traditional stuff. We go out to eat often and the few who gave 1 star truly don’t understand EVERY place has a dish over or under cooked you simply show it to them so it can be corrected. In regards to no flavor nothing could be further from the truth, again Americans want so much soy sauce etc you can’t taste the actual dish. I highly recommend this place my wife and I drive 40 miles to enjoy their food which is always very VERY good. Oh almost forgot the Wonton soup is the best I ever had with shrimp in the wonton hand made in house.

There are two menus here- an American Chinese menu and a Chinese Chinese menu. The American menu has items such as sweet and sour items and egg foo young. The Chinese menu has things like whole steamed flounder (which another table ordered - it looks delicious!)) and Szechuan green beans (which we ordered and are SO delish!) I recommend the Chinese menu but since I'm partly Asian, I maybe biased! The service is prompt and efficient. Coming from an Asian family, this is one of our top go-to places for Chinese food!

Our late Saturday evening visit was wonderful. Quickly seated with menus and ice-waters. My chicken fried rice (with curry) was delicious. Our waiter was very attentive. The place was clean and very well lit. Large portions and decent prices too. Will return !
