I came to this Starbucks on a whim with a friend after we left Canela Cafe. When we walked in, I seen all of the to-go liquid delight staring at me. I seen a beautiful delectable drink that I’ve never seen before. I asked one of the sweet baristas what it was, and she said it’s a pumpkin spice latte. I had an opportunity to hold and taste this golden treat and was sold. This is a wonderful gift for your tastebuds at any given moment during this Fall season. Enjoy . . .Please don’t forget your dragon fruit and strawberry refreshers with coconut milk and 3 pumps of classic syrup!
Honestly have never had better experiences at Starbucks. I just moved to the area used to my Starbucks at home and was expecting your typical experience. However, I got far from what I thought was "typical". These workers instantly greeted me with a smile and a positive attitude. They were smiling their whole shift and have been very talkative with costumers including myself. My drinks here have never been messed up and are delicious every time. It is a perfect environment to come and do homework if you are a student. Thank you so much to the staff - keep it up:)
People are usually nice here! Only thing is I can't have caffeine and I ask about 3 times for them to make sure its decaf and then it ends up being caffeinated.
This location was absolutely adorable! The staff members were friendly, they had a Christmas tree filled with pictures of what I believe are guest's dogs hanging on them, festive wreath made of cups, they help out the humane society, they had staff gingerbread man houses & a customer of the week which I saw at another location & I think it's cool! They are also lgbtq friendly! I didn't get a picture of the flag on the window but it's hanging on the window near the entrance. Also parking was very hard to find, I imagine it's because all the houses there don't have driveways.
Not too busy on a cozy Sunday
Nice coffee, but the staff were a bit frosty and not too welcoming.
I was never a fan of Starbucks due to it's cost. But I got this deal called Happy Hour that let me order Grande Frappucino for $3. Now that's a real deal. #HappyHourbringsasmile
This place is a home away from home. The baristas are beyond lovely, kind and attentive. The service is wonderful and the ambiance is varied, interesting and inviting.
My regular Starbucks in NYC and Los Angeles can't compete! This is truly my second AND third place! Like my favourite pub in London.
Now if only the Cold Brew were as tasty as a pint of Guinness! But no place is perfect but the Starbucks on Downer comes pretty feckin close! Cheers Downer Starbucks cheers!
I've visited Starbucks locations around the world. It's a ood place to get a predictably good cup of coffee and have a sit down while reading or getting a bit of writing done. The staff at this location are friendly and efficient, ahs it feels pretty much likes every Starbucks everywhere in the world, which is both a good and a bad thing.
This location and employees are absolutely amazing! Suzanne and Cameron were incredibly helpful when I had to come back because my coffee was split all over at work and made another drink for me. 10/10.
The individuals who work at this Starbucks are the sweetest and nicest people in the world! Every time I visit, I leave with a smile on my face. Also, Kayleigh Beaver, the girl who gave a one star review and claimed that her order was wrong and therefore a hate crime, you’re the worst. I don’t work at Starbucks but I know that it’s a hard job. Crazy thing is that are/used to be a barista at Starbucks too so you should get it! If someone got your drink wrong, go back and they’ll make you a new one. Don’t coward away home and write an unfair review. Also, you’re white.
Very nice staff and a very well kept establishment. I've not personally tried everything there, but what I have had like the Chai and croissants were very good!
I really like how they are set up that I can order on my phone grab my drink and get the heck out. I appreciate the safety protocols. Been afraid to go to any place like this since the pandemic but it was so nice to use their order and pick up feature. It’s a nice location and friendly people. I look forward to the day where I can wander in and talk to people but for now I like my grab and get our option!
Everything about the place is classic Starbucks but my girlfriend and I have both had multiple experiences here with rude and confrontational employees. A cashier made me feel like an idiot for wanting to use a rewards card I had just signed up for. I also felt like I was inconveniencing them. It really made me not want to come back especially with better coffee available in the area.
2023 EDIT: Updated from 2 to 4 stars. We just moved out of the area, but went here often over the last 5 years. The employee we had an issue with is no longer there, and the manager here the last few times I've been does a great job managing an extremely busy location, especially when witnessing their interactions with a few rude customers. My only complaint is they need to do a better job of having temporary parking available for pick-up; too many people park illegally or unsafely.
Just wanted to share this positive review of Cate a worker there who was awesome. She had great customer service and even crafted a drink for me not on the menu to suit my taste. Managers of this store be thankful you have such a lovely worker.
Haven't been in since pandemic started. Nice to see how much they are working at being safe. The ladies were awesome and my drink wad fantabulous! I'd share a picture; however, I slurped it up fast after 2 mile walk.
Thank you for all the safety precautions and thank you for being there.
