Honestly great food that’s well prepared and taste just as good. and good service- The staff is anyways friendly and welcoming. 100% recommend this place!
Had some great food there! I've had probably the best ribs EVER previously, but yesterday was Lent, so I tried the Tofu with veggies, chow mein (veggie, of course) and perfectly prepared green beans! It was fantastic!! Didn't miss the meat at all!! Great sized portions! The restaurant is clean and welcoming. They have the coolest bar and Karaoke! Fun! Did you know they do magic at Chan's? Yes! Take the food home and it magically disappears!!! Yummmm!
The baby back ribs are among the best i have ever had. and the bar staff are very friendly and inviting. They really work hard to keep everyone happy and in good spirits. Fun place!
Driven by it many times but only just tried it out the other night and now I'm kicking myself for not trying it sooner! Food was awesome, great deals! Food portions were good. Very filling and the staff was very pleasant! Will definitely be going back!
This place is an awesome little dive bar. One of those "best kept secrets" places in Portland. The bartenders are extremely personable. When you walk in you find yourself a "Cheers" kind of environment and you immediately get excepted if your not a total jerk. Karoake is awesome here!! Great drinks too!

Chan's bar is so much fun, little bit if everything and a great melting pot of all types if people.... and as for the food, a must try, some of the freshest Chinese food this side of the Atlantic... highly recommended

Haven’t been in yet, but I sent a message asking about a photo of a steak I found on Postmates and they VERY PROMPTLY replied and were helpful! That’s already a good sign as to how good the service will be in-house !

Definitely the best Chinese restaurant in Milwaukie! The food is delicious and the owner's attention to detail and authenticity is reflected in not only the dishes but also the atmosphere. Their Lunar New Year celebration with Lion Dance, Firecrackers, Fan and Fire Dance was a so much fun to attend. Kudos to the Chan's crew for putting this together and executing it so well.
Very quiet, no people.. perfect for date night! My husband and I found a tucked away gem 💎 with bao and delicious sesame beef, egg rolls, sweet&sour soup, perfect tea, beautiful food, generous portions, amazing service! We will go back once a week! Thank you so much. Delicious, wow 👌
Luna was absolutely fantastic!! After a long day of moving we came to grab a bite to eat with a drink to relax a little and she was beyond amazing!! She went above and beyond to make sure our experience here was great and she achieved it!! Highly recommend.

The bar tender was very friendly and engaging. The other people were polite too. I had 3 saki and then a big steak and painted for 3+ hrs. It was a boatload of fun.
The food was ok. Something about the crab rangoons were off. Like didn't taste right. I couldn't place it, so I didn't eat many. The fried shrimp was good though, no tail shell like most other Chinese places.
Best restaurant in town hands down. Sometimes I regret eating somewhere else but I never regret eating here. The staff is also very awesome. Worth every penny.
I really wanted to like Chan’s. They have an Egg Foo Yung I like because it takes me back to a childhood memory but everything else we ordered we won’t order again, including the orange chicken. We were a party of six and none of us liked our orders. It’s usually pretty empty in the restaurant but the bar seems busy.
Good, friendly service. Inside was too dim, I'm getting too old for that type of atmosphere, lol. Food was okay, just not what I'm used to. This place has alot of loyal patrons though!
The food was sexy, meaning delicious! Was flavorful, great portions, and they adhered to my special requests. They went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. Definitely returning back as a customer.
The portion sizes here are enormous. I always have enough to fill me up for dinner, and enough left over for lunch or dinner another day. And the food is good. Spicy when it says it will be, and not when the dish is not. I always order to pickup and it is always ready and waiting when I arrive.
I do Uber Eats pickups from this location the people that run it are very kind and never make me wait their service is top notch
