Reviews Five Watt Coffee

Never before have I felt that the $5 for a latte was justified until Five Watt. They treat coffee like cocktails. Their specialty drinks are unbelievable. Now to the important feature: The toilet paper. You may sample form 4 different styles. Each with a perfectly apt description. One contained the manager's face printed on it. Ezra, you're too good of a guy to have this be the most used roll, but who could pass up on that opportunity. Not I.

I want to live here. I was in for the first time yesterday. What a kick ass coffee spot. When my east coast friends want coffee this is the only place I'm bringing them. #rockstarcoffee

My favorite coffee in the Cities. I used Five Watt as inspiration for Pure Bean in Rapid City, SD. Great coffee, best equipment, fantastic baristas.

Best coffee in Minneapolis! Had a chance to try quite a few different drinks and even picked up some canned cold press to take back to Michigan!

Amazing staff. Every coffee I've tried has been delicious. I come here with friends to chat or to get work done. It's a cool spot that I enjoy a lot. The pastries are from a local bakery, Vikings & Goddesses.

Stopped in because I was picking up meat next door at Finer. Service was friendly and quick. I got the Northeast Fog and it was SUPER tasty. Picked up a ham and cheese croissant for later and some coffee for home.

Was looking for a remote place to work today and found this great spot. Great service. Great Chai Tea Latte! Fun location. Says busy with lots of traffic which is good. I was able to find a spot where I could work and be effective with the white noise. My food was good. The service was good. The place itself was clean and inviting. I’ll be back again

The service was good and the atmosphere was nice. I wish they had the option to warm the savory pastries and the matcha I had was very milky.

The café is small but it's cute. The food was great, my matcha latte was okay. It's good for family, students or couples. Parking is just park down the street.

This was by far the best coffee shop experience I have ever had. I'm not much of a coffee drinker. The staff was patient and fantastic at their recommendation. It was so delicious I had to go back every day while I was visiting. The space was quite comfortable to sit and chat with my friend. Highly recommend the Busy Beaver - tastes like a graham cracker.

Visited for a coffee date with a friend and we each tried a specialty drink. The Kingfield was my choice - lovely vanilla cardamom taste with crisp flaky sea salt on top - delightful! Service was friendly and quick and we enjoyed chatting over coffee for a few hours. Adorable south minneapolis spot with a small patio and a garage door that opens to it. Great for a quick caffeine boost!

Five Wyatt café is a quiet and cozy coffee shop located in the Kingfield neighborhood. Upon entering the café, you are greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere, with a rustic yet modern décor that creates a comfortable setting for enjoying your coffee. One of the standout features of Kingfield Five Wyatt café is its exceptional coffee. I personally love their drink called Kingfield. It's a delightful twist on the classic latte, infusing the warm, comforting flavor of vanilla into every sip. The drink starts with a hint of saltness from the black Hawaiian sea salt, which add a subtle savory note that balances the sweetness of the vanilla. At the end of the sip, you will taste the bitters. The addition of bitters to a latte adds complexity and depth to the flavor profile. The bitterness of the bitters cuts through the sweetness of the vanilla, creating a more balanced and intriguing taste.

Easily my favorite coffee shop in the entire city. House made bitters, fresh ingredients, and locally roasted coffee beens makes this place unrivaled in the breadth and taste of their offerings. Quaint and laid back, you'll be hard pressed to find a shop offering the quality and creativity of Five Watt. If you are hungry, be sure to pick up any of the bakery items made fresh by Patisserie 46. Simply a must for all coffee lovers.

This is an awesome little local coffee shop. The drip coffee is great. The atmosphere is vibrant and definitely a "hipster" hang out. Only tried one of the brews of coffee and it was tasty. They have multiple to choose from including a selection of other drinks and beers. They have baked goods and a small menu as well. If you are in the Minneapolis area and a coffee drinker, this is a must!! Stop on by!

Great atmosphere - full of eclectic furniture, plants, and light at the front. I loved the super creative cold brew and espresso drinks available - flavors I have never seen together. I had the Everything Nice, and it was so delightful; like nothing I’ve had before. Looking forward to trying more creative coffee next time!

I had the Pumpkin Spice Lawsuit in the fall and it was the best coffee I’ve ever had. Pricey but worth it. I can’t wait to go back!

Good espresso coffee, strong. Cool vibe, lots of seating, free wifi. Good place to study with a coffee. My cappuccino was decent, a tad bitter (over-extracted). Overall, a good coffee shop that pulls a decent shot, would recommend.

The iced strawberry kingfield drink is a summer special, and it is so good. The menu even says so. The vibe is industrial and casual. There are plenty of tables to sit and relax for a bit. I always like to note when a place offers almond milk as an alternative, and it is available here.

One of my favorite coffee shops. I love Five Watt Roasters and my go-to location is Kingsfeild. They are on point here, making drinks quickly and accurately. On Black Friday they were swamped and cranking out orders like professionals. This crew deserves a raise!
