What a great gem in Minneapolis. I had breakfast with my wife, who is from Colombia. I had "Maria's Colombian Huevos Pericos" and my wife had "Juan's breakfast sandwich." Both were exceptional. The food, service and decor are all top notch. Recommended for awesome breakfast. We will be back soon to try lunch.

One of the best places for breakfast I’m the Twin Cities! The coffee is delicious. The Huevos Pericos and the corn pancakes are my absolute favorite! Don’t be intimidated by the wait in the hallway on the weekends. I’ve never had to wait more than 20 min for a table.

Great food, wonderful fusion of flavors!. We stumbled onto this place when left on our own to find lunch while visiting my son and daughter-in-law. We will definitely make this a stop on our next visit!

So good!! We weren't sure what to expect after aimlessly walking around the entire building trying to locate the main entrance, but it was so worth it in the end. The live music was awesome and the food was great! I would totally shoutout the performer but I didn't catch his name (insert crying face). Great portions for what you pay, and the staff is lovely. Maria did us right #bossbabe

It's was good. There was a homeless man in the restaurant asking for money that made it uncomfortable. One of the windows was cracked out... the food was really good for the price but you will be waiting a while. The pancakes have corn in it, and they were surprisingly delicious. For the price, it was worth it. Just make sure you have at least three hours to waste if you go on the weekends.

We love Maria’s! Fave breakfast spot in the city. I insisted on having it while at the hospital after giving birth at the Mother Baby center a few blocks away. The cachapas (corn pancakes) are out of this world. The Colombian hot chocolate, arepas, and buttermilk pancakes are our other go-tos. We’ve brought two of our Colombian au pairs here and they also love it.

Four of us from my family visited just after noon on Sunday. The greeter checked our vaccination verification and led us to a table for four near the tall outside windows. The dining area was spacious and we weren't near other diners. Our server Abigail served us right away. We had hot chocolate for beverages and ordered that day's Sunday special and a couple of the Colombian breakfast combinations. Our eggs were prepared to our individual orders. The orders came up quickly. The food was EXCELLENT. We will be back. There was a guitarist playing live music as we dined and we enjoyed that a lot. Highly recommended.

I love this place. It’s always so cozy, food is great. We usually get Colombian food and taste is amazing, right amount and fair price. Staff is really kind, we’ve been there like 4 times and is always a great time. If it’s your first time it can be a little bit confusing to get there since front door is not available so you have to get into the building and go around until you find the right door. For some reason once you’re there, the first big room is never available, but anyway the main area right in front of the bar is a great location and sometimes they have live music on weekends which makes breakfast cooler!

They were so busy, it was so worth it! The corn pancakes were delicious, and with a side of sausage, fresh fruit, and plenty of coffee, I didn't mind the wait. Took home a couple of guava empanadas. Take your time, relax, don't rush.

Breakfast was hearty, hot, and tasty. My friend and I split a guava tart, which was delightful!! The coffee was as good as I expected it to be. There was live music, and the place was packed. Can’t wait to go back again to try other entrees.

Visited Minneapolis for 4th of July weekend, ended up coming here on a whim Saturday morning for a family breakfast. Let’s just say it was so good we came back Sunday and Monday too LOL. We had Devin and Angela for our servers- they were so kind! I had the croissant sandwich with egg cheese and sausage. Amazing! My daughters had pancakes and eggs, they made the eggs perfect with yolk just like they like. Bathrooms are clean, servers are nice, overall great atmosphere. Only complaints (but very small ones) - American fries need salt, and my husband ordered a medium rare steak and it was fully cooked.

Service was great this time. It can be a little slow at times (like many restaurants, finding staff is a problem for them. Food was fantastic. Try the corn pancakes.

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Good food with plenty of options on the menu, but not too much to feel overwhelming.

Colombian breakfast is so underrated. The arepas and the fried plantains are to die for. But my favorite was the corn pancakes, which were delightful. I'll be back again tomorrow, craving for more.

I'm here for breakfast and I ordered from the columbian regional specialties menu. The food is fantastic, service is great and I like the area. The only issue is the two seater table is really tiny but other than that, enjoy the restaurant. I recommend it especially if you are open to trying different cuisines. Things I tried here, Paisa bowl and corn pancakes and I love them both.

My favorite place for breakfast anywhere in the world. The best pancakes I've ever had, although they're not traditional American pancakes. Chachapas Venezolanas: corn pancakes from South America. They're a little like pancakes made out of corn fritters, but so much better. There is the option of adding grated cheese to them (think of something like parmesan). But they're sweet and delicious with just butter. Seriously - try one. The mango pancakes are also good. Actually everything is good. Weekends mornings they often have a folk singer in the main dining room - ask do a different room if you want quiet.
