Got a great deal using Upside, so I ventured into the great unknown, vast metropolis of Minneapolis, using my GPS, and found this little hole-in-the wall rib joint. Personality plus! I think there was parking behind the building, but I opted to walk from a side street. I really liked the mild bbq ribs, twice baked potato 1/2, and the somewhat petite cuplet of coleslaw. Only one small table, and not really an eat in sort of place, so my only co.plaint, which only about my circumstances, not their food, was that I didn't get to eat it hot. I didn't know where to stop and eat, so ended going all the home. I'll plan to find a park nearby, before I get the food, so I can have peak enjoyment! Quirky MN memorabilia covered the walls, so plenty to peruse while waiting a few minutes for your food! Nice people. Going to go again!

Truly a hole-in-the-wall with room for only two seating, this local huddle spot offers friendly service and great ribs! And yes, to the other reviews, the beans are really spicy! I was even offered a complimentary soda, without asking! The food is really good too. Just recognize their very limited hours (only open Thursday, Friday, Saturday) and cash-only operation. Five stars for super friendly and welcoming service, (the guys always personally thank us for coming in and ask us to come again in the most enthusiastic, generous manner) and the quality of BBQ. Thank you for always being so kind!

Scott's has been my secret BBQ place for quite some time but it does not deserve to be a secret. 1 of the coolest interiors around with so much memorabilia. Spectacular and quick service, delicious ribs and oh the twice baked potatoes! Highly recommend if your in the area!

Excellent ribs, a little too lean. The spicy one taste much better tjan regular. Free pop/soda. Good service. It's not Scott cooking anymore but still the same taste.

I've been wanting to stop here for years, but the timing never worked out until today. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich, which was messy yet very delicious.

Good food for a very reasonable price. To small inside to bring groups. But 2 could dine happy. Nice friendly staff too.

Amazing BBQ. Potato salad was great and the twice baked potatoes were amazing. I suggest everything. Just make sure you specify hot. Medium or Mild. Otherwise you may not enjoy as much.

This is a awesome affordable spot. 2 people can have a hearty meal for under $20,,, I mean you spend more at Mac and dons! Frank always has the hook up with fresh hot food. I have tried the pork, chicken, and steak sandwich they were all great my favorite being the pork. The spicy beans give off a good heat and are tasty also the baked potato is delicious. My only complaint is the coleslaw is a bit funky but by no means a deal breaker. Finally I'll add the bbq sauce is sweet and spicy I'd like to have some at home. I'd come here more often if I didn't live on the other side of the metro. 5 ☆☆☆☆☆

Best place for pulled pork or chicken in the twin cities and makes Dave look not so famous in comparison. Better value, better product super fast service. Joe made my night tonight he was epicly nice. Made me feel at home even though the dining area is small. I absolutely recommend this to anyone who like a good pulled pork or chicken, both phenomenal . Also I have yet to have the pleasure to try their other bbq goods but want to some day!

Rib specialists, but great bbq chicken and pulled pork sandwiches too. I love their twice baked potatoes. Friendly neighborhood institution for over 25 years, now run by the next generation (Scott's nephews), this is your classic "hole in the wall" treasure. Geared for takeout but I'm sure you could eat there if you asked politely.

I love this place. I've had almost everything on the menu and whether it's pork or chicken it's always delicious: sweetly smokey, tender but not falling apart, ribs glazed in just the right amount of sauce (I recommend the hot version, which will set a little blaze on your tongue but not make you regret it). Don't miss the beans on the side, they are mixed with bits of rib meat and cooked down to unctuous perfection. Service is very warm and friendly.

Been here a handful of times, and it’s been awesome every single time! The prices and portions are pretty good! Better than average I’d say. I recommend this place for BBQ to everyone regardless of where they live in the cities. I would drive from Woodbury to get it. It’s a small place. So be ready to grab your food and eat somewhere else! The spicy sauces are actually spicy!! Thankfully. And they’re really tasty. They accept cards now too. I’ll be going here as long as I can.

Haven't been here in probably 5 years but nothing has changed, and I say that in a positive way. Food, service and prices are still awesome here. The pulled pork is fantastic. Didnt bite into any fat chunks. The potato salad is awesome. And you can't beat the service. Would definitely recommend.
