The food here is the best I've had in Minneapolis possibly ever. I recommend.
It’s a one of those can’t miss spots. The vibe stands out against the rest of the block.
The place:
it’s modern, but cozy with a big focus of Messi, plus the bathrooms decor is a nice touch - but I don’t want to spoil that for you, you’ll need to see it for yourself.
The food:
As I said, you can’t miss. Even their salads 🥗 have a heavy hand of cheese which I’m all about. But feel to explore the menu knowing you won’t be regretting your choice.
The drinks:
It’s a mix of Argentinian beers and local beers with some THC drinks to keep things interesting. Oh, they have sangria, make sure to have a taste. It’s not the biggest selection, but it compliments the food perfectly.
Overall:
I say support this local business. They care about what it’s producing and it shows.
I came here full and still ate my entire order. Food was fabulous; hot and full of flavor and interest. Some of the staff seemed a little burnt out, and the bathroom was a sensory nightmare, but overall a great experience.
Excellent as always! Fun blend of flavors and textures. Highly recommend the pepperoni. The angel hair-like cheese is a bit of a mess to eat, but that just adds to the experience. Two people can share a pizza. Love the salty crust.
Empanadas are some of the best I've ever had. Flavor comes from the ingredients without being cheesy. Pastry dough is buttery and fluffy.
Very Argentinan ambiance lol. Self-service but they do bring the food to you. One of the few places that is open fairly late into the night.
Come come come to Boludo!! Their food is so flavorful that makes you feel like coming back very soon.
We had the La Casa salad, the Campos pizza and the flan.
We went to downtown Minneapolis location and this other branch as well. Omar, the owner’s father, was an excellent host!
Great ambience, great service and most importantly great zah. Enjoyed unique Argentinian flavors on a perfectly cooked pizza. Empanadas are $5 each and worth trying multiple options.
What an amazing and unique Argentinian restaurant! The food is just delicious gourmet style. The staff so friendly .If you go to the one at 8w 38th st Minneapolis, it is small but so cozy and the manager Omar it is a great guy ! I strongly recommend this place !!!
We had a lovely dinner experience in Boludo. First, we were seated the minute we arrived, and Omar, our host, happily greeted us, explained the menu and the ordering process. We ordered two different pizzas, Campo and Fugazzetta, and wow, wow!!! Fresh ingredients, tasty, an incredible combination of flavors and the crust was the perfect combination of taste and texture. Then we had their dessert, Flan-candied pecan with dulce de leche, and it was a sublime experience! Casual environment with super friendly customer service. Listen, if you are in the Minneapolis area, a stop in Boludo is mandatory. You will thank me later!
Absolutely loved this pizza. The crust was crunchy but had the nice airy inside. Pepperoni cups were crisp along with the shredded cheese. Pizza is on the greasier side, which isn't for everyone (I don't mind).
This may have been one of the best pizzas I’ve ever eaten in my life… The crunchy crust, flavor, and overall make of it was extraordinary! Highly recommend to any tourists looking for 10/10 pizzas!
Loved it! A small but great space. Order at the counter and they bring it out to you. We ordered dessert too and they made sure to time everything really well even tho it isn’t a full service restaurant. Water pitchers out front for self service.
The empanadas were phenomenal. We tried 3 of them and they were all great (esp liked the pollo and the Jamon y queso).
Tried 2 pizzas. The margarita was good but personally just felt like it was a little too thin and crispy. The flavors were great but it left me feeling like something was missing when it was so paper thin in the middle compared to our other pizza. The other one was the campo and it was so so good! Loved every bit of it, all the flavors (including chorizo and mushrooms).
We were already full but we had already ordered dessert and enjoyed the churro donuts. Great donuts but the star was the dulce de leche sauce it came with…omg I could’ve eaten that all on it’s own.
Wild bathroom too lol with black lights only-def worth a trip haha. Overall great experience and would def go back.
The was one of the more unique tasting pizzas I have had in a while. I ordered the margarita which ended up being delicious. I was really digging the sweeter sauce which paired well with the saltiness that I was tasting around the crust. So, you get this sweet and salty combo that hits it out of the park. It's such a good mix of flavors that each bite was good as the first. The cheese they grated around the crust was subtle in flavor so it didn't create any sort of flavor imbalance. As far as judging it visually, it looked heavy but it was surprisingly light. It was more of a thin crust which I tend to prefer, and the exterior crust was airy with a nice crunch to it. I didn't feel guilty about eating the whole pizza and since it was so light, you could still go workout after eating it too.
The menu also consisted of some other ridiculously good looking items like empanadas and churro donuts. I will definitely be coming back to try those in the future! I also saw a couple order pizza with a bottle of wine so I really see some versatility in this place as either a laid back date spot or somewhere to meet up with a couple friends.
The location was in a decent part of town by the looks of it, and I was able to find free parking up the street. The restaurant has four high tops indoors that would comfortably sit four people along with a island that looked like it would seat like 6 or so singles. They also had a handful of outdoor seating which is perfect for this summer weather!
The food is incredible. I think I found my new favorite pizza in Minneapolis. My husband doesn’t normally get interested in salads and loved the Caesar. The ham empanada was recommended by their employee and quickly became another favorite
Holy smokes. This may be the best pizza I have ever had.
I had wanted to try Boludo's pepperoni pizza for a while, and now that I have, I'm not sure I'll order from anywhere else!
Every aspect of this pizza was perfection. The crust: soft with a little chew, a little crisp, and the slightest char, symbiotic with the hint of sweet in the sauce. The toppings: generous! The pepperoni was crispy on the edges and the cheese, just wow. I was also surprised that with the amount of pepperoni and cheese, the pizza wasn't too greasy. I just LOVED it!
So excited to have this spot in the neighborhood and can't wait to visit the patio when it warms up.
Boudoir was great! Stopped I'm for a Friday lunch and sat on the patio, it was excellent. The patio has limited seating and they are smaller are style tables, so keep that in mind. The interior was also not massive but just fine for groups of 6 or less. The staff was very friendly and service was quick.
The menu had lots of cool options but we went with a Prosciutto pizza and a variety of Empanadas. Let me say some of the best Empanadas I've ever had, they were all good and would highly recommend any of the types. The pizza was also excellent with a nice crispy, woof fired crust. My only minor complaint is the crazy amount of arugula on the pizza (No biggie, just took some off). The beer and wine selection was also good and was able to try some new, less common kinds.
This is our new favorite pizza place in town. While there are not a lot of choices, each pie is really delicious. We continue to bring friends and out of town guests. Each one has been just delighted at the pizza.
The empanadas are also quite good.
Our favorite pizza is the Campo. The spicy sausage, sweet onions, salty crust, and savory sauce is a fantastic combination.
The other pies are also excellent. Each one has a unique flavor profile, so it’s fun to share.
I have tried Boludo several times. We dined in or ordered delivery. Their pizzas and empanadas are great. Never disappoints.
Loved their pizza. We had a pizza with cheese, spinach, and little cherry tomatoes. It was very good! It was supposed to come with arugula but for some reason it came with spinach. Was still tasty. Everything was very salty, so some people might not like that. I also got a diet coke in a bottle which was fun too. The staff were nice and kind. The bathrooms were a real experience. Had UV lights and edm music when we were in them. I'll definitely be coming back for more good. Also, the pizza was only 18$ and it fed both of us.
