Great food, great service, great beer. Nice neighborhood bar - Highly recommend.
I have gone here for years it is always a great place. Awesome service by our beautiful waitress and great food as always.
A corner of toys for little kids, best-cooked burgers, and pleasant customers and employees! Plus, pinball and other fun games! I really appreciate that no one gave us grief about our little ones. The seasoned fries were the best I’ve had in a long time! Reasonable prices as well.
This place is the best. I eat here at least once or twice per month. They have excellent wings, good fries and the best breadsticks on the entire plant. Plus it's just if the Grand Rounds.
Wonderful meal and services. The roast beef sandwich was so good - tender, flavorful. I want another one! Hidden gem in north Minneapolis.
Best burgers I've ever had, and I cant get enough of their wings! Fresh and as local as you can get! Tooties is a gem and center for the entire neighborhood.
One of the best spots to get a burger in MN. Breadsticks and wings are amazing too! Love Tooties!
Awesome wings and terrific service! I liked the updated space with nice restrooms and better lighting
Excellent burger and the best fried mac & cheese I have ever had! Service was good too.
It's been a while since I dined Tooties,
but every Tuesday was the day of the
week for "us".
Meatloaf was the special on Tuesdays,
& we were NEV-VER disappointed.
The small family owned establishment
was always a perk to visit during the start
of the work week. My friend who always
accompanied me, was a native of North
Mpls, & knew Tooties was a nice place to
eat. The family who managed were always
the friendliest folks, & Gramma Tootie
would stop in frequently. She was a sweet
matriarch who loved her family, & enjoyed
her customers & the neighborhood.
Despite trials & struggles, Tooties on
Lowry is a neighborhood mainstay for
those who live in North Mpls, & welcome
all who visit. I miss not being able to visit
when I was working in the area, & I'm from
St. Paul... Good memories from Tooties!
Ya gotta love Tooties - the food is great - the service is great - the clientele are loyal. Parking is tricky when busy but if you are "citified" you can figure it out. Love the place!
Food wasn't bad, but the burger was nothing to write home about. The cheese curds were splendid however. Atmosphere and decor is like every old town diner with a bar. TVs playing game shows and old movie channels. Employees were super nice and the food did come out quick. Not super busy and crowded, which is nice. No Wifi.
Consistently good bar fare for for 35 years or so I've been going there. The staff is always Pleasant, and for the last three or four years they've been branching out into some more esoteric Foods.
There was a desert something like apple pie egg rolls that was delicious. I've only seen them on the menu a couple times, pretty labor-intensive to make but it was all done by hand. Excellent.
2022 - A first for Tooties On Lowry, a pan roasted chicken breast with potatoes, carrots and onions (with a bun). As their Chef is a master of gravy, and the veggies are perfectly done hopefully it will become part of their specials cycle. He's also offered several coconut curry soups, this one is Carrot Coconut Curry, Awesome with just enough heat.
Great burger, generous helping of fries! Friendly service.
Local spot, diner vibe. Game Room includes two pool tables, one pinball machine, one dart board, and one arcade game that all run on quarters. Food is good, beer is cheap, staff is awesome. Not a hopping vibe, but that makes it family friendly in return.
Friendly, fast and fabulous! Best burgers, plan to try them all. Fries were perfect; crisp on the outside, creamy on the inside. And, on most Fridays the best fish fry in town!
A good little family restaurant with games and a little play area for kids. The food was good (especially the burgers) and the staff was very friendly. We'll definitely be going back in the future.
first time here. stopped in to order some burgers for take out. service was fast and friendly, food was fast and delicious. we ordered medium burgers that came out cooked perfectly. the fries were also cooked to perfection. in my personal opinion, they could use some seasoning or salt..but we were able to add our own at home, so this isn't necessarily a complaint. I do suppose it is nice that they consider those that don't care for that. I looked around the place while waiting for our food, and it seems to be a family friendly spot. there is also a bar which is separate from the dining room. we will definitely return in the near future!
Good wings, beer, apps and dessert. Only con was I wish there was another tv. Tried watching the Twins game, I sat in a booth and someone blocked my view in the bar area. Then I went to the bar to watch the game but one of the employees switched the tv to YouTube.
Historic neighborhood haunt with bar food and games. The food isn't quite as good as it once was but it definitely wasn't bad. If you're looking for a North Minneapolis small bar experience then you'll be satisfied with what you get.
Two pinball machines, three other arcade machines, darts, two billiards tables, and an electronic jukebox. About ten stools at the bar rail. Meals average $9 to $12 plus drinks. There is also a kids corner with some toys and a claw machine.
Your typical hole in the wall bar and grill. We had wings and burgers. The wings were great, the burger was okay. I remember the burger being more flavorful from prior to covid. I think this was a one-off because I have always enjoyed the food here. The place wasn't busy. However, the server wasn't attentive and didn't offer to refill our drinks at any point. Not the end of the world and won't stop me from coming back. I'm guessing she was new.
