We arrived expecting to sit in the dining room but apparently had "accidentally" reserved the lounge area on OpenTable instead. It was our first visit and this was a disappointing way to start, as we were hoping for a traditional steakhouse feel. The good news is that the lounge was also beautiful and has the same menu. The oysters were surprisingly fresh and tasty - they only serve the "pink moon" variety but they were excellent! We felt the steaks were A+ in preparation and taste, as I would expect for this location. The wine menu is very expensive and raised our bill by $100, so keep an eye out for the creep there. Soda is served in small glass bottles and poured over ice.
Complimentary valet was a nice touch - make sure to tip your valet, they offer app tipping like Venmo, cash and PayPal. The restaurant also charges a 5% employee wellness fee.
My wife and I agree these are the best steaks we've ever had. And we've been here twice, so it's not a fluke. Simply fantastic. From salads to sides, deserts to drinks. And it's located inside a cool, old building. The only downside is we knew we'd eventually run out of food, which envoked feelings of sadness in our mouths.
It's not cheap, however. Gather some gift cards or something. But get here.
One of the best steak houses in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Perfect place for special occasions with its sophisticated touches in decor, presentation, and service. The beef cuts are of high quality and cooked to perfection. They have a wonderful cocktail menu as well as an extensive wine and beer list. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The complimentary valet service is a plus!
This is a 5-6 PM Happy hour rating…..service & atmosphere were extremely nice! Cheeseburger and Brussel sprouts off the bar menu were top notch👍….aquavit gimlet and 3 shrimp need work; Tiramisu dessert was very weak…more like a basic chocolate mousse.
WOW! Such a clean and gorgeous place. Went out for a birthday celebration and the team gave the birthday person baked Alaska with a chocolate bar with happy birthday gold script on it.
This was the best baked Alaska I have had thus far. I ordered from the social hour menu that you have to request if you are on the restaurant side. I enjoyed the lamb burgers. They were so flavorful like I was hoping.
The service was great. The waitress was friendly, and the food came so quickly. They also have a nice variety of delicious NA drink options.
I'm so happy I found this place and will be returning as it is now on the top of my list and will be recommending to others.
The food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent. We went for my husband’s birthday and tried several dishes. We loved that the apps are easily shareable and agreed that the mussels are a must have. The steak and fish dishes were cooked perfectly and the spicy margarita was one of the best I’ve ever had. The complimentary valet was a nice perk and the valets were super friendly while we waited.
Another fabulous dinner here for a recent birthday celebration. Amazing, thoughtful and attentive service. Great recommendations at the bar. Just a joy to visit.
I’ve dined at P.S. Steak a few times in the past, so when I was thinking of a place to have a birthday dinner with my family it was an easy decision. They offer complimentary valet which is great considering street parking in the area is limited. The ambiance of the historical building is nice and our table for ten was in the lounge area near a cozy fireplace and bar.
The food was excellent – everything from our starters through dessert was delicious, but the highlights for us are the high-quality steak selection from family farms. They also have an extensive wine menu which we enjoyed in addition to a bottle we brought.
I can’t speak highly enough of the service the staff provided; they went above and beyond to make my evening extra special – from our server to the Assistant General Manager and Culinary Director and beyond. If you are looking to celebrate a special occasion or just enjoying a nice night out, I highly recommend P.S. Steak.
Great food, service and ambience. Wait staff is extremely knowledgeable. Ask for recommendations. Cocktails are well crafted. Definitely would be a choice for special occasions and out of town guests. Also just for a good cocktail and a burger.
Update Denver steak with Stilton delicious. Go with the Aligot and sautéed mushrooms. Staff is amazing and knowledgeable.

Outstanding steakhouse. The main dining room is classy, but comfortable, with dimly lit leather booths. There was The staff are attentive and thoughtful throughout the entire dining experience. Chris was a lovely server, offering great recommendations and maintaining casual and friendly conversation throughout the evening. Dalyce provided excellent guidance for wine selections and her recommendation was a great pairing with the food. Came here for a birthday dinner and it was an excellent choice for a phenomenonal meal. The Old Fashioned was an excellent, well balanced cocktail, as is always the case with Jester Concepts restaurants and their N/A Faux Pear cocktail was also great.
We started with a half Caesar, which was easily enough to share and Garlic Pull apart bread, which buttery and delicious. The Denver and the Manhattan were exceptional steak selections, prepared to perfection. The sauteed mushrooms and hashbrowns were excellent sides. The Crepe cake was comped for the birthday celebration and was a delicious finale to the evening. Highly recommend PS Steak!
Love the food, the staff, and the atmosphere! Definitely the best steak I've had in a long time and the the sides were equally delicious. Not to mention the drinks! I really appreciate that they have so many non alcoholic options.
Really great experience for our first time here! The service was attentive but not pushy, the drinks were on point, and the food was amazing! Be sure to check out the dry aging cooler in the dining room, so neat to see the difference right in front of you.
We ordered a salad to share and oysters as a first course. I got the butchers cut special and my husband ordered the dry aged bone in ribeye. Both were top notch, his being fat superior to mine, you could really taste the dry aging! The fries and mushrooms were great side dishes!
Extremely good and tasty! For us, this is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The steaks were definitely worth the price. Extremely delicious! And Jeff our server, was kind, efficient, and knowledgeable about the menu and the food. Angel made sure we always had water, and cleared our dishes right away. A pleasant and superb experience!

If you’re looking to celebrate a special event or just an amazing date night look no further. First off the ambience of the Bar is like the mafia’s finest and the dining room is cozy and warm. The seafood tower and meatballs are a must have as an appetizer to kick things off. The chop salad of the night was perfectly paired with the freshest vegetables and a light green goddess dressing. The Denver steak was cooked to perfection with the most flavorful herb seasoning and the crab cake was all meat and no filler. The sides were a perfect complement to the steak and it was a tossup between the fries, hashbrowns and cheesy mashed potatoes. To top off the meal you must spurge on the strawberry cobbler warmed with ice cream. Lastly the service was second to none and it’s so hard to find good service coming out of the pandemic. Emma was attentive to our every need, very knowledgeable with the food and beverage menu and had the perfect sense of humor to match. Get your reservation in today at PS steak. You will not be disappointed!

Date night!!!!!
To start the service walking in was great they sat us down as soon as we walked in. We ordered drinks and appetizers. When we were done eating our appetizer our waitress Emma cleared our table and set us up for our entrees even wiping the crumbs off the table. I give them a 5 stars just for that.
Now to the entree the Denver steak was to die for. It melted in your mouth and tasted amazing. We had the asparagus and potatoes as well and I definitely recommend everything.

My husband and I went at 8pm on a Sunday evening. It was amazing. We basically had the whole place to ourselves. Alexander was our server and he was so professional and had wonderful skills. He knew very confident in the menu. The food was really good as well. We loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. Very romantic on a dead night.
