Been aware of Bonchon for a while now, first time visiting. This chicken knocked it right out of the park! Fantastic! Perfectly crispy boneless wings, the spice level was phenomenal. Need to try garlic soy in a half&half combination next time. My former roommate swore by this chicken and now I can see why. I don’t usually expand my realms like this and it was totally worth it. Will be seeing you guys again and thanks for being great neighbors!

Restuarant is on the smaller side, however it is very clean and welcoming. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The food came out fairly quickly and tasted delicious. The wings and fried rice are a MUST try. Prices were reasonable and quality of food was fresh. Would definitely recommend anyone to try this place, I for sure will definitely be going back (whenever I'm back in Minneapolis).

Food was good Not a large selection Once you had it you had it No need to really return The restaurant has such a plastic cold feeling to it n I get that it is winter but it doesn't need to feel like I'm eating outside We're sitting so close together that no matter what I say even if I whispered the next person is going to hear it Bathroom was clean

It’s funny that Bonchon is known for their fried chicken, and I absolutely love fried chicken, but I tried the tteobokki my first time eating there and I’m absolutely hooked. The spice level is perfect, there’s a subtle smoky-sweetness that works so well with the thick, tender rice cakes. I have gone several times fully intending on getting just some chicken because I’ve heard it’s very good, but then I wind up ordering the bokki because just thinking about it makes my mouth water. This is a great, low key spot for a quick lunch, especially if you sit by the windows so you can watch Lake Street. It’s kind of no-frills, but that is just fine considering the quality of the food. I promise I will eventually get the fried chicken, but for now I can confidently say this is quickly becoming a mainstay.

Best Korean in the city for the price. Good chance you’ll walk out under $15

We went here for the first time today. Their food is pretty good and not salty. Customer service was also pretty good. This is a Korean fried chicken place with a Chinese owner. We could taste the Chinese influence in some dishes. For instance, the fried rice did not taste like Korean fried rice but it was still good. We ordered the seafood udon noodle soup, fried rice, a small drumstick set, and the family combo XL. We parked in front of the building, which had a 30 minute time limit meter, not knowing that it was an hour limit just across the street. So we got the rest of the food to go. We continued to eat once we got home. The amount of food we got fed three of us very comfortably with leftovers left.

I've been trying to get the Korean fried chicken craving satiated for a while now and wow, this place is legit. I would hiiiiiiiiiighly recommend dine in over take-out, it really is a world of a difference. But my word, the chicken comes out quickly and pip'n hot. Put some respek on this crunchy, sweet, spicy, soy-saucy, garlicy and crisp chicken. The wings are top shelf and the fry batter is impressively light and non-greasy . The serving of seasoned fries on the side were very generous and could easily be mistaken for a separate order of appetizers. Pot stickers we decent, but the casing/wrap was slightly thick. Hostess/waitress was very accommodating and attentive, refilling water at a timely manner and made sure everything was right in the world. I'd go again, after I burn off those calories, and would recommend.

I love the Bonchon in Maple Grove so I was excited to try this one for takeout. I really enjoyed my chicken and rice bowl. The chicken was super crispy and tasty. I want to try more items from the menu next time. My only complaint was the lack of serive when I arrived. I couldn't find anyone out front for few a minutes but everyone is short staffed so I understand. This location used to be a Divannis so it's small inside. Parking is horrible because it's Uptown but all in all I will be back for takeout this winter forsure.

Really crispy and delicious chicken, both in the restaurant and as take out/delivery. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu but the potstickers, chicken, and the parmesan fries are our go tos!

Tried this place the other day for the first time and it was pretty good! Never had Korean take out before! The order came fairly quick and the chicken was nice and crispy...I also really liked the fired rice. All the flavors were on point...I def would try this place again to see what else they have to offer! The spicy wings are my favorite and the fries rice seemed to actually have a kick to it! *remember if you want cutlery or anything like that for takeout you have to make sure to mention it...I had to get crafty for a spoon to get at my rice 🤦‍♂️ which almost made me drop them a star...

Very convenient place for the people who lives in uptown area, walk or bus. It's not so convenient for those who drives. Street parking only, so it's kind of hard to find parking on such a busy street. The restaurants was clean, staff was friendly, fast and efficient service. The food was delicious! The chicken was super crunchy and the the rice was warm and fluffy.

Great food, but service is pretty slow. Will update this review in the future once the growing pains are done and they nail down their routine. I had the medium combo of wings and drumsticks with the soy garlic sauce and picked radish, and it was soooooo good! Best fried chicken when you're looking for something lighter than KFC
