I really liked this location. Portions are nice enough to generate good price value..service is quick and cordial. Location has ample seating with few TVs. Place looks clean and organized. Menu is ample and the taste of food was excellent.

Pizza and hot hoagies are really good. I usually order the ham sandwich with pepperoni pizza.

Able to place an online order for pickup. I was staying at a local hotel for a conference. The restaurant was in walking distance. When I arrived my order was ready. The employee that assisted me was very welcoming and helpful. She offered me additional dressing for my salad and was overall very pleasant. The restaurant was not busy and it seemed clean and inviting. Pizza was good (nothing spectacular) and it was a bonus to be able to customize the ingredients in my side salad when I placed the order.

Editorial Note: Most of this review up until where I clarify, what I updated today,was written 7 months ago. I actually had an old review that originally was amazing, re-edited a year ago, due to a continual problem that I would have last year with a certain manager, which I was glad to hear a few weeks ago is no longer with the company. So I decided to delete that review and write this one. While I made it clear in my last review, that a certain visit was so bad, last year, which Davanni's did go way out of their way to make up to me, while I'd go to Eagan occasionally, I stopped going to this store until last Saturday. Which the food and service was amazing. And E, one of the managers there, was so nice and welcoming and he was never the problem. He knows and respects my quirks and makes my pizza perfectly, as I don't like burnt pizza or being skimpy on the toppings. It's nice to know I can back here again and be treated so well. I hope you guys keep "E" around forever, he's talented and gifted in his pizza craft and with customers. Other team members are friendly, too. But "E" (I'm trying to protect his privacy) is super gifted with picky people but super grateful customers like me... Updated 2/16/2019... I went to Davanni's after not being there for awhile last week on National Pizza Day and "E" and another staff member were amazing both in being super friendly to my boyfriend and I and making an amazing pizza that both my bf and I like as we don't like the same toppings . I have a lot of health issues which keep me home a lot and I only get out once a week. Today I ordered delivery, because I am picky, I called, the one staff member, which I feel horrible I don't know his name, I did want to make sure that "E" was working, cause he knows my quirks, he did say that "E" would make my pizza (I ordered it online ) when they received the order. But because the order was different than I normally get, "E" called me back to make sure that it was going to be right. The delivery driver was super nice, too. The only thing I did not like was a tech issue, I ordered the item on my tablet with a keyboard, as it's easier for me with my disabilities, when I went to try to pull my order up on the app on my phone ,I couldn't track the order. But that would never be a deterrent from not going to or ordering Davanni's. I had also gone to your St Paul store, a few months ago and it was busy and there was a mixup, they were super apologetic and friendly there and remade my order, not having to even ask for it, as I couldn't eat it as is and I was polite but pretty clear on how I had wanted it when I originally ordered and the person I ordered vouched for that. I also eat at Eagan on occasion and their service is great, too. It's really hard to find a local chain that has talented and friendly people across locations and the staff in Downtown especially because they know me, really make me feel good in addition to being so good at making food. I know I am REALLY wordy, I just really believe in giving credit when an organization has exceptional talented people in what they do and how they treat customers. I don't have a ton of a discretionary income, so it's a treat when I order pizza for delivery and it's worth every time from here, whether it's eat in (which my bf usually pays) or delivery.

Great food, hand delivered to our table. Good service. Only awkward thing was having to ask for a code to get in the bathroom. Like we're going to enter the launch codes. Otherwise, good experience and I recommend.

Food was great! Garlic cheese bread with marinara was so good I almost canceled the rest and ordered more of it. Pizza was awesome too. Would def get it again when back in the area.
