Best steak in town!!! It's one of our favorite date night sports. We can usually find 2 sits at the bar, but for bigger parties, we definitely make a reservation in advance. The Wedge Salad is amazing. Fillet Mignon is the best in town, and I had the whole fish - Mediterranean option, and it was perfect. Pair with a nice bottle of wine or your favorite cocktail and enjoy! 100% recommend
Visited Emeril's Coastal while on vacation to celebrate a momentous occasion. Originally, we sat in a corner like a castaway with no real view of the restaurant. When asked to sit at the counter in front of the Galle, the server made it happen. Let the fun begin! As a culinary student, it was exciting to watch the chef's prepare food and bring the dishes plates/platters out of the kitchen raised high on the shoulders of gentlemen dressed in white chef's jackets. The food was taken to a set location and then hand delivered to the guest. The amount of food provided was substantial and could be shared. The menu options were plenty, and the food was fresh. Everything ordered was tasty and cooked to perfection; however, the fried chicken and fish could stand for more aggressive seasoning. The rosemary biscuits were heaven, especially with the sweetened butter. The mashed potatoes, seasonal veggies, and asparagus were fantastic. The fried duck wings were tender and tasty and come in an order of 6 (12 if separated into drums and flats). The fish dip was good, but the crackers added to the plate were few. Overall, I had a good experience, and the server was very attentive. Eating at Emeril's was an experience that I can now check off my list of things to do and places to visit.
We had late reservations for Birthday Dinner... our server was AMAZING! Great recommendations and he knew the menu well. Surprised husband with an awesome birthday sparkler right at the end of the night, with our Olive Oil Cake (AMAZING and So smooth)! The server went well out of his way to help us have a nice breakfast with our leftover food the next day, eggs to go with steak and fish leftovers! Really amazing crew. The food was mostly on point! One negative was collard greens, which were way too sweet, root beer collards, expected a little kick or other flavor but the sweetness overloaded everything - just a lot different from what we expected. Everything else was excellent - duck wings, gumbo, speckled trout, sweet potato puree', and filet! Also, we have been to a different Emerils before and thought it would be white tablecloth, for a nice bday dinner, this was more casual than expected, but still very nice.
