Amavida coffee is the most flavorful organic, free-trade coffee I have tasted. While on a vacation in Miramar, I visited Amavida almost each day for 2 weeks and came home with coffee beans as well. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly, patient, and willing to explain the products as well as visit, when it’s not too busy. I recommend trying their other coffee products as well as the smoothies and cinnamon rolls! Super glad to have found Amavida. I will continue to purchase their coffee through the mail as well as return whenever I am back in town.
Highest quality coffee shop I’ve been to! Knowledgeable, passionate, and friendly staff. I got a Triple Cappuccino or a Triple Americano every morning of my vacation.
The service is very personal and professional.

I had a less than perfect experience in this shop. I wrote an honest review about my experience and the company reached out to me. They inquired about all of the details were extremely professional and apologetic. They even sent us some swag and coffee as an apology. This is a stand up company with a great marketing department. Their coffee is great and they genuinely care about the customer service experience they are providing. Wouldn't have any problem ever recommending someone giving this company a shot. I hope to be back in their part of FL one day to give one of their storefronts another shot. 👍
Amavida will be a frequent stop when we visit Sandestin. We have an embarrassment of riches with quality coffee shops at home and Amavida stands with any of them. It's clear they take pride in their sourcing and roasting. Patrick was welcoming and the espresso was superb. We even left with a bag of freshly roasted Ethiopian beans to use at home for pour over! I hope the folks saying this place is pricey say the same thing about Starbucks, because the cost is less here for an EXPONENTIALLY better product. Delicious, welcoming, and reasonable! Go Amavida Go!!

Amavida is a nice little coffee shop/roaster in Miramar, FL.
I had the cortado and was not disappointed. Though it was a little smaller in volume than I am used to - around 3oz whereas I usually expect a cortado to be 4oz - the taste was spot on. I also drank a cappuccino, which was similarly well crafted.
Amavida has a reputation for well made espresso and was awarded Roast Magazine's "Roaster of the Year", which I felt was well deserved.
Service was the only area that kept me from feeling a full five star experience. The first barista to take our order seemed bothered by our questions, and perhaps even our presence. The second, however, was very kind and helpful. He was engaging and knowledgeable.
The space is very small and has limited seating, but it is appropriate for the venue. Additional seating can be found outside, as it is in a marketplace setting.
Overall, if you're in the area, I recommend stopping by for some fantastic coffee.
Great local coffee roasting company. Everything I tried, I liked.
The coffee was better than I expected! I got a large iced caramel latte! They also have iced coffee and really yummy smelling pastries. This place is on the pricey side though, but I rather go here than just a starbucks.
Arriving straight from Chicago, we went to eat at Pizza By The Sea (which was excellent btw) and found this gem next door on a hot, sunny day. One of the best iced coffees I’ve had. I’d rather go here than SBux. Will definitely come back before we leave Destin.

Sweet Conscious coffee shop. The poor over is a wonderful high end coffee. The patio is a beautiful space to enjoy your coffee. Konbucha on tap too!
