Wow!! This was the best Cafe with the most excellent hospitality and customer service. To top all that off the food was absolutely delicious. We will most definitely be back when we visit the area β₯οΈ
Omg! My bf and I ate here for the first time yesterday after deciding to do lunch. So I googled soul food in Mobile Al and stumbled upon Soul Heaven! I had the smothered liver& onions with rice broccoli& cheese casserole and collards and he had fried fish along with Mac& cheese and rice b&c casserole and it was just like the name says...Heaven! I think I'll go until I try everything on their very broad menu!
We stopped for gas 3yrs ago and ended up getting Fish n Grits for the road and haven't stopped talking about the food since! And 3yrs later nothing has changed. Welcoming and Hospitable staff, well seasoned and executed food, unbeatably low prices.
Amazing, the doors and the overall experience! The owner was so nice and welcoming. Definitely going back when I revisit the Mobile area!

The friendly atmosphere is the first thing you will love about Soul Heaven Cafe and Catering, then the food is great. Personally, my children and I love there fried fish, and fries.

Ordered a full pan of mac n cheese for a party and it was excellent everyone loved it.
Awesome staff and food!!!! We really enjoyed the lunch special and the blueberry cobbler!!!

Me and my mom ate here for the first time today and it was so good. The service was fast, food fresh, great customer service and very clean atmosphere. If anyone wants good soul food give them a try... everything was good but i do suggest you get the collard greens and corn bread. I love greens too.

Best stop for food so far- been driving for 3 days from Colorado to Florida and made a lot of food stops. This takes the cake. Southern comfort food done perfectly. Absolutely delicious and just what we wanted!

The food was DELICIOUS! I got a salad and my mom got the Philly cheese streak sandwich I couldnβt get a picture of hers she was eating already! Prices are very affordable and the food is great quality! Support local business guy even when traveling (traveling from Auburn).

The customer service was mostly non interactive but I didn't take it as rude maybe because I am from Nola and we interact and laugh and talk with people
The cornbread recipe was not my favorite maybe a Alabama recipe a bit hard and hard and cold and no flavor I like sweet soft hot cornbread like cake with eggs in it
Dessert was rather sweet cobbler but hot and good with sugar free π¨ ice cream
I wish it stayed open longer but I do understand that people have other schedules

Had the fish/grits platter with over light eggs, catfish. πππ₯° Red velvet cake was not tomy liking. But the German chocolate cake is to die for. Will be back next time they make one!
tihe atmosphere was good for a Sunday morning. They had inspirational music playing which I like but it wasn't loud or overbearing. The cashier was friendly and got our order just right. The lady came out from the back to fix it she acknowledged us and asked us how we were doing which was nice. You can tell she had a spiritual attitude as well. The place was not ideal for families eating in there are only a few tables with 2 to each table. I don't mind that though because it just right with the cozy atmosphere. We got our food to go and it was just two of us so that was fine. I will definitely be back. I do recommend for others to try. Their prices are great for what you get.
Ordered catering from Soul Heaven Cafe and it was delicious. The whole family was very happy with all of it. Shrimp boil, fried fish, potatoe salad, jambalaia, collard greens and corn bread. Definitely will order again for our next event.
Soul Heaven catered our outdoor event at Cathedral Square in downtown Mobile and did a great job of setting up and serving a delicious breakfast even in freezing weather and drizzling rain. The warm grits were AWESOME!!!

Great breakfast! Small diner with super friendly staff. Food was very good. Don't let the location adjacent a gas station fool you, Soul Haven is worth a stop.
