My husband and I went out for a Sunday drive with the dogs. We stopped at a tap house in Salem in hopes for a beer and burger. Sat down for 10 minutes without being offered a menu or even being acknowledged that we were there. We proceeded to our favorite dog park in Independence and from there to Yeasty Beasty. We were greeted right away by a very upbeat waiter. Ordered a beer and a soda with an appetizer and the lunch special . The pizza is excellent they make the dough from scratch (don't know about the sauce I didn't ask). It has a hint of sourdough to it since they have a mother (baking term). The yeasty bites are not bites they are smaller bread sticks and delicious. I got a mini salad with the combo my husband the same with a meaty. The salad was the perfect size and the dressing on the side! The pizza isn't greasy at all. Toppings are plentiful and fresh.the sauce is just the perfect amount and tasted homemade! By far the best pizza establishment in the greater Salem area! Well worth the drive from Aumsville!!!
The best pizza in Monmouth/Independence! Great choice of brews to go with it! I Highly recommend Yeasty Beasty!
So these guys have GREAT pizza. Their Margherita pizza is hands down the best Margherita I've ever had. The balsamic reduction really makes it, and the tomato sauce is sweet and delicious. The beer selection is great, and they even have kombucha on tap. Great service, great atmosphere (they've been playing classic rock both times I've been there), and great location.
They're ALSO really nice. I discovered to my horror this evening when catching a bite to eat prior to an important event I couldn't miss on WOU campus that I DID NOT HAVE MY WALLET. The server and the manager chatted with me about it, and they graciously allowed me to pay the bill with a personal check, usually a big no-no at restaurants. Great place. I'll definitely be taking my parents here when they come visit next week.
Fabulous local spot. A-mazing homemade hummus! Incredible bread for dipping, and that was BEFORE the pizza arrived! Terrific crust, personalized toppings. With super friendly service. The place was packed, and I know why. We will definitely be back!
Absolutely love this place! Have been going for a few years now and never have had a bad experience. Their pizza crust is delicious and they always have a super yummy and creative special. Awesome beer selection! And the owner is very nice and welcoming.

This is one of my favorite places to eat. The pizza is great, the beer is fantastic, and the atmosphere is amazing. I have never left disappointed or not satisfied. This place makes me so happy, and I have have created many happy memories there. The owners do a great job at picking their staff. I hardly get to go there but they make me feel like they know me and are glad to see me. Everyone is always smiling. They also have good music to listen to. My favorite special is the bbq pulled pork with homemade pineapple coleslaw, it is borderline to die for.

Super yummy, super fun place to go. nice staff, the margarita pizza was amazing, the big salad was fresh and yummy and the jalapeño popper pizza was yummy, we're full and happy
Keep serving great variety of delicious beer and outstanding pizza. A nod to great service. Icing on the cake is reliable classic rock that's not too heavy or loud. My comfort zone.

Had a couple of awesome pizzas with my family here last night, the crust and pizza sauce are both excellent! Best part of the visit were the beer recommendations by Charlie, I’m usually a light beer kinda guy but at his urging i sampled a couple of things outside of my comfort zone that ended up being awesome!
Excellent pizza, great choices of beer. Amazing in-house made ranch. Staff very knowledgeable with choices of beer and offered options for pizza ideas. Look forward to eating there again.

They always have a great variety of creative pizza options. This time I grabbed their loaded baked potato pizza and it was phenomenal! Paired with a tropical IPA made for an excellent lunch. The customer service was friendly and they brought it all out quickly. I'm always impressed with each pizza I try here, if you haven't gone yet it's definitely worth the time.
Yeasty Beasty has been the best pizza place in the greater Salem area for the decade I've been going there. Big portions, great staff, food is always amazing. Not to mention that their hummus is literally the best I've ever had and the many guests I've taken there all agree (get extra bread!). They have a good beer list, though I'd like to see more than three ciders (at least five for a full flight would be great). It's well worth the trip from Salem.

This place was DOPE. Husband and I stopped here on our way to McMinnville for the UFO Festival. We sat out front with our dogs, and they were kind enough to offer a water bowl for the pups (always a nice touch as dog parents). The beer selection was great; they had a fresh hop on tap which was appreciated and delicious. And the pizza was so good. Fresh ingredients, pepperoni was amazing, and the crust was perfect and not too filling. Wish we lived closer because this would probably be our regular pizza spot. Don't miss out.
The pizza and coconut lime kombucha on tap here were amazing, our whole table was happy. The place had a great chill atmosphere and was perfectly affordable. I also got the garlic bread bites but they were just okay, not really my speed.
Just moved to dallas a few months ago and as a pizza connoisseur a new neighbor suggested Yeasty Beasty. It was absolutely delicious very fresh really good crust and really good cheese bread. But also the price! So reasonable compared the other places around. 🙌
