The most authentic Mexican food I've found in this state, so far! Their spicy pork tacos are amazing. Everything I've had there tastes exactly like my friend's mom just made it - awesome. It's always a good sign when you walk into a place like that, and all of the customers are Latin. I've never actually stayed there to eat, only gotten stuff to go. They package it very thoughtfully so nothing drips, they put cellophane on the bottom of the plates, so nothing leaks through. When's the last time you got Mexican food to go and there wasn't salsa everywhere?! The answer is never. But if you go here, they'll make sure you have no mess! Extremely delicious food, and the staff is very friendly, helpful and sweet. It's worth the drive to Monroe - I live in Redmond - we still come once a week!
This is our ‘go to’ in Monroe. Former food truck turned restaurant, La Bamba is authentic and awesome. They have some great traditional dishes you can’t find other places in town like the pozole (pictured). It is made with pork, hominy, spices and served with fixin’s. Definitely worth a try!! Family loves the sopes. Another high recommendation.

Delicious, authentic, fresh food. Can’t believe we’ve lived in the area for years and haven’t been in to Taqueria La Bamba. This will be our go-to spot in the future. Highly recommend!!
Food was good, and good sized portions. We ordered, carne asada taco combo, torta, Huaraches, bean and cheese burrito and adovada tacos. They were quick, but for faster service order ahead. Next time I am going to try their in house margaritas. So with that comment, you know we will definitely be returning
