Being from Brooklyn, we know pizza! And we have had a hard time finding a place that is as close as possible to Brooklyn or just great NY pizza in general. Now just to be fair, we have not tried their plain slice as of yet. We have only ordered their Sicilian pizza twice so far.
I am pleased with what we had tasted, both times. They also season their dough with garlic, very nice touch.
I'd have to say, based on their Sicilian slices, they are comparable to great Sicilians in the city. Their crust is a bit on the thicker side but has a good amount of sauce and cheese to balance it out. Also, even tough its thicker, they cook it properly so you have the crunch on the outside and softer but not super soft inside. Happy about the cheese (good quality used) and the sauce seasoning as well. Happy that this place isn't far from us and will try their other pizzas soon. Hopefully those are just as good.
Food was delicious. One of our favorite pizza spots! We ordered delivery and it arrived early which is even better. Definitely going here again for pizza and salad!
Haven’t been there in about 3 years have been back to NY at the least once a year family still lives in NY took a job in SW Virginia nothing beats pizza in New York.plant pizza was a staple when we lived in Harriman and i can say its still the same as we remembered hot fresh and really good.so good I started then took a pix i couldnt stop.thank you Planet Pizza the picture is some of the margarita pizza
I have been going to Planet Pizza for years and they never disappoint ❤️. My husband and I was running to catch a show at the movies and decided on a quick bite here before going. I had a delicious Ceasars salad chicken wrap and him a slice. Fully content before the movies!
Yum! Amazing pizza by the slice and huge portions of pasta! Coke products and delightful staff
Update 7/2/2022: Went here yesterday 7/1/2022 to eat something while my family and i were waiting for the fireworks in town. We placed our order over the phone, and walked to pick it up. We ordered as follows: a tuna salad wrap, a sandwich, and another sandwich. It took about 35 minutes to make our order, but that is reasonable because when we got there to pick it up, the place was super busy. i enjoyed my tuna wrap that i ordered, and my family enjoyed what they ordered. will be back soon!
I've been going to planet pizza since middle school. Their pizza is amazing, and their wraps are as well! Also their dinners are also good. Even if you dine in the food is good. Went here recently for the fireworks and got a pepperoni pizza, which was delcious! Their loaded fries are also good. I will be back to support this local business!

My husband and I are native New Yorkers and are no strangers to a NY pizza joint. We just moved up here and haven't had much luck with finding descent pizza until now! I chose to go here because of the menu. It looked like the closest style menu that I could find to Long Island. Mostly Italian American options, lots of classic dishes, and not to much messing about with food choices that simply don't belong at a NY pizza place. The regular slice was perfect....exactly what you want in a NY slice. Very thin, but holds together. Not too much sauce. A slight char on the bottom crust. It came to the table piping hot which was great! I ordered the eggplant parm hero and it was exactly how I love it.. Very thinly sliced eggplant, not breaded....just flour, egg, and fry. This is perfect b/c without breadcrumbs, it doesn't become a soggy mess. Perfect amount of sauce and cheese. Perfect amount of filling compared with the hero. Now I feel confident ordering more dishes next time.
We sat in the dining area and I noticed how clean and orderly everything looked. I can't wait to come back!
