Frutti De Mar Grill remains one of our all-time favorite restaurants. We've been going to their Marina location for several years and always enjoyed excellent food, beautiful presentation, friendly service, and hospitality that is beyond compare. Now that they have moved to a larger location in Monterey, and expanded their hours to include lunch, we will likely be there even more often. Their new lunch menu offers some new menu items such as Bowls (rice, black bean puree, and choice of seafood with lobster sauce), wraps, and tacos. Highly recommended.

I love this place - the staff are awesome and Sonja (owner) couldn't be more friendly and a very special person. My favorite is the cannelloni - it's melt in your mouth.....

my husband and a friend and I had dinner here last night. It's a tiny little place but the food and staff are amazing! My personal favorite is the crab ravioli and my husband loved his lasagna. The prices are very reasonable as well. We will return when we are in town again.
We live down the street from the restaurant so it's super convenient to get to. It's a Small place so we have learned to make a reservation before we go but the food is Excellent and the Staff is so welcoming and attentive so worth going! My favorite is the Pollo Picatta.
This is the best place to eat out in the Monterey area. Food delish service outstanding desserts amazing. Must eat here.

The food here is as good as it gets. It was my very first time and I was extremely excited to finally experience their menu. I have to admit, my taste buds started dancing in my mouth with my very first bite and throughout every coarse of our meal. Not only was our food fantastic, but our server Antonio, took it to another level that made our dining a true delight. When you have a top notch server that really cares about the guests and you have great food. The combination of the two, makes one of the greatest things in life, fill your heart (stomach) with love, joy and the greatest satisfaction to a out standing meal. I just can not wait to come back and do it all over again. From the bottom of my heart and stomach...I thank you so very much!!
Food was great servers were very nice .. only draw back is parking not much 4 spots so be prepared to hunt for parking. Great little spot.

Outstanding food and service! The young man who waited on me was very friendly and attentive as well as the woman who helped me decide my dessert. Everything was better than expected and I left full and satisfied. The price was good too, and the ambiance was very nice yet causal.
They had a salmon special which was cooked perfectly and the sauce was incredible! This place is legit, I’m defiantly going back and bringing my friends here.

This is a great quaint seafood and pasta restaurant. From the outside you may think it is a dive, but it is far from it. The entire experience is great, from the atmosphere, the service, the prices, and the food...oh the food! So good! My husband avoids gluten and he appreciates the seafood and rice options, while I love the pasta with seafood. Reservations are accepted, and recommended as it is a very small place and fills up fast.
I was looking for an affordable place to have pasta with seafood without and this place hit the spot. The seafood was fresh and there was a wide selection to chose. I ordered the house white wine which was crisp and refreshing. We started dinner with the calamari. For the main entrees, we ordered the creamy crab ravioli and the seafood pasta. Both dishes were very flavorful. I will recommend anyone looking for a more casual seafood place this would be the one!
The food is excellent and fresh i eat their 2 to 3 times a week most of the time i get take out to bring home. The staff are very nice and helpful with the menu and are very warm toward the customers

The food was good. But not amazing. The service was excellent. First they had us sitting by a table by the door which was freezing cold. Then we moved to another table which was great. We had a good meal. It was enjoyable. There are better restaurants in the city though
What a nice find after a day at the aquarium. Loved the red snapper entrée. Great local spot.
A really nice spot to get seafood not far from the beach. The clam chowder here is top notch. We had a lobster ravioli that was excellent as well, and a linguini dish that was above average but not special. The food is maybe close to deserving 5 stars but doesn't quite stand out enough. The major drawback is the service. The place is fairly small, so there are two servers even at peak times. Every step of the meal took just a bit longer than I'd like, but overall I still had an enjoyable meal.
From looking at the menu ahead of time, this place appeared to be a bit pricey. However, from the quality of seafood and overall experience, the price is justified. I loved the seafood linguini, and found the halibut special my mom ordered to be perfectly tender.
A quaint little Italian restaurant with some seafood selections and traditional Italian dishes. The pricing is reasonable for the quality, quantity, and plating of the food. Their clam chowder soup is very creamy but sparse on the clams and other ingredients, yet still good and worth getting if you're a fan of clam chowder or soup in general.
We had a great time. The seafood was fresh, the sauce's had great flavor, and portions we're just right. Service was attentive and with a smile. This was our second time here and I was equity impressed this time as I was the first time. I will be back.
