Food was really good . I had the Imam Bayildi. ( Eggplant dish with an amazing sweet tomato sauce topping) with Greek salad, rice pilaf and sides.
The use of spices were creative and wonderful. Not overpowering. Two bean side dishes were also served. Nothing was overpowering ... just subtle flavoring.
Highly recommend this restaurant. I'm Vegetarian/Vegan. Great food. Also serves Lamb and other meat dishes.
Not only delicious authentic Greek food, but very attentive and fun staff. Generous portions include Greek salad, lentils, rice and white beans so you get it all with a main course. We were so well fed that we ordered delicious cheesecake and baklava to go. Fantastic!

Truly unique place. We always feel like we are visiting someone's home and they prepared the most amazing food with so many wonderful flavors and spices. Simply the best!
My Mom and I visited Monterey to celebrate our birthdays and were fortunate enough to find this lovely little restaurant! The food is excellent! The staff is warm and inviting. The restaurant is clean and beautiful. The owner even visited our table at lunch. What a wonderful person! Thank you for the experience and we hope to return soon!

Fantastic service from Jen! I will come back just because of her. She gave me a great recommendation for trout (served with head on, bean salad, spiced rice, and green beans). The trout was simply seasoned to perfection and the skin was deliciously crispy! The trout cheeks were very good. From now on I’ll be less scared of eating fish head! The entree also came with a salad which was nice and refreshing. I had SPECTACULAR hummus! It was smooth and the pita was fresh and tasty. I had a nice Sauvignon Blanc as well. It was a very delicious and filling meal. You won’t go hungry here! Oh and the Greek yogurt dessert was phenomenal! Perfect combination of sweet and tart.
Delicious as always. I usually get takeout for lunch but it was excellent to go for dinner. The imam and a falafel salad are our standard orders and never disappoint.
Pretty impressive all around. I’ve been to some great Greek spots and live in the Bay Area where we have the likes of Kokkari and Evvia. This place is unpretentious and has spectacular food — texture, seasoning, freshness, quality — check, check, check, check. The decor is super cute and sert ice is warm, friendly and attentive. Great location on Tyler Street in downtown Monterey. This is a nice little Greek sit down restaurant, that’s oddly rarely crowded at lunchtime. You get a lot of food and it tastes good. It’s a little bit expensive on the price, but not unreasonable. There’s no parking, but just use the garage or park on the street. Get the baklava, even if it’s just to go.
Epsilon Greek Restaurant has very pretty Greek decor. You can eat outside or inside. Service was friendly, warm, patient and so helpful. Food was delicious and portions are large! Hummus and tzatziki combo with cucumbers sbd tomatoes was so delicious! Loved the Greek Sparkling water too!
FYI there's a Speak Easy Bar called SAVVY next to the restaurant that the owner owns too. They sell small plates and brunch is served on Sundays with music! DEFINITELY will need to check that out next time we go to Monterey!

We’ve driven from WA to CA and this is one of the best meals we’ve had in the last 2 weeks.
I’m in Monterrey for a week and a friend told me about this place. I ate there on Wednesday and it was amazing. Tonight is my last night in town so I went there again. Phenomenal food. Nice people. If they opened in Los Angeles, I’d probably be there five nights a week.
The food was amazing and so was the service. Gluten-free friendly! The ambience is also very interesting.
The Hummus was good, and the side salad that comes with the entrees was amazing. The taskebab was delicious and quantity was good. The food tasted fresh and authentic, server was helpful and courteous, and service was quick.

I can't say enough great things about this little gem of a restaurant! It is first of all, super clean!!! I was impressed with the obvious care and attention to detail. The arrangement of glasses and silverware and immaculate linens create the ambiance of class and a perfect setting for a romantic dinner. I also felt a warm vibe for family dining since I was with my mom and daughter and also saw several families that appeared to be regulars come in. Their jubilant attitudes toward the owner and staff told me that they love to come here with their families. I had a memorable red wine and an appetizer of homemade hummus, tzatziki and pita. Definitely far above store bought. You can taste the homemade freshness. Then our food came and I don't know where to begin. Everything was to die for. The chicken lemon soup was created with LOVE! The salad is the most delicious and has a secret ingredient that I absolutely love. We all split several dishes and I can't begin to try and pronounce the names of the dishes, lol, but EVERYTHING WAS FANTASTIC! The meat dolmas with an amazing sauce, the chicken gyro, the salmon salad, and a pasta and meat dish. All winners! The supreme ending to this story is THE DESSERT!!!! OMG! A big square of homemade baklava with this remarkable cinnamon vanilla ice cream on top. I was already full but had to, HAD TO, FINISH THIS BIT OF HEAVEN!!! I highly recommend this hot spot and try everything!!! I was happy to hear they're open for lunch and take out. They even have a small bar right in there. Such a fabulous experience and warm staff! It's behind the the famous Golden State Theater.

The atmosphere is amazing. The food is delicious and well worth the money. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Mediterranean food. Top notch, and the desserts are phenomenal.
Authentic Greek food done right! We love Greek food after having spent time in Greece and it's often hard to find good replicates, but this place hit the spot! Great combination platter and grilled octopus! We had good service and the atmosphere was cozy. Really enjoyed!
Very kind and engaged staff. The food was great. Had the gyro plate and it was way more food than I needed, but it was too good to not eat it all. I would recommend anyone visiting to give this place a try.
Great food and lots of it. I had the combo plate and everything was good. The pastitio was the best I have had. The dinner salad was excellent and I am not a big salad eater. The service was on point and my water was always full. Our server was really knowledable about the food and made great suggestions.There is easily enough.food for 2 people. We split a baklava between two people and it was a great end to a great dinner.

Really nice atmosphere. Comfortable chairs. Great chicken. Will definitely be in again for lunch soon to try other dishes. Went with my father and uncle and got the same things they did and I wasn't sure what I got exactly other than that there was chicken and rice and it was delicious. We also had hummus that was delicious (and not dry like you get a lot of the time). Everything tasted extremely fresh and was very pleased with the service.
Lots of locals, so not a touristy place. Hummus was so good and fresh, and the Mixed Grill combo was definitely of great value and good for sharing. Service can be a bit slow but staff were super friendly. Loved it!
Everything about this restaurant is truly superb! Christos the owner is incredibly friendly. The food is authentic and delicious. We ordered the Lamb Chops, the Gyro Plate, Dolmades, Greek Fries and the Avgolemono soup. We ate literally everything off our plates! Our server Patty was so friendly and attentive. What a wonderful find during our first visit to Monterey.
Had a fantastic dinner and Jen, who was awesome, and a great host for our first visit. Chris, the owner, was also very thoughtful while we dined. Highly recommended if your visiting Monterey or a local. We will be back!
