I was visiting in this area and randomly stopped by this place without any expectation. I was just hungry and searching for a place to eat.
I saw a good review and though I would just try. I should admit that I experienced the freshest poke place ever!!! Usually, you don’t expect the nicest raw fish at this kind of express sushi bowl. Well... you DO at this place.
The rice, fish, and even the sauce were all matching and perfect. I was so impressed so gave a compliment to the owner. She said she owns the authentic sushi restaurant, called Sushi Time in the same city, and my question on why their sushi quality was so excellent got answered.
At the time of writing it sounds like this place just opened up. If you have any food allergies this is a good pick because you can control everything that gets put in the bowl. Great price for a good amount of food, the restaurant itself looks good and is well laid out, and the staff was super helpful. Everything was fresh and tasted like it should - get the salmon!
Went here on my way to the aquarium. Very tasty and good value for the money. For $13 I got a lunch that was overflowing with fresh fish rice and toppings. I normally eat a lot and I couldn't even finish. Highly recommended as a good budget option if you're in Monterey.
YUM! This was our first experience with poke bowls and it was absolutely delicious. The menu is easy to understand and the staff was helpful and patient about explaining items on the menu.
This restaurant is only a 5-10 minute walk from Cannery Row and the Aquarium, a nice option if you’re looking for something outside the touristy restaurants in the area. Reasonably priced, filling, and casual environment. :)
Wanted to experience my first Poke Bowl and had planned to go to Poke Lab but I guess the 8pm closing time is not accurate as I got there about 6:45 on a Monday and it was closed. My second choice was Poke Time and it did not disappoint.
I had the regular bowl with Ahi Tuna and two scoops of Spicy tuna with the spicy house sauce and the various mix-ins. The portion size was more than enough to fill need up and all ingredients were fresh and delicious. Pricing wasn't too bad ($17.25 with a soft drink) having to keep in mind that I was in Monterey.
Plenty of tables available with a nice wooden plank decor. Will Definitely stop in again on my next trip into town.
This place has the best poke I have ever tasted. Everything is so fresh and so delicious. Anything with their chipotle mayo sauce is to die for. I would eat here every day if I could afford it (at ~$14 a plate). The workers are helpful and know just what to recommend if you're unsure.
I am a poke lover and this place is a GEM ! Huge bowl with super fresh and tasty fish - up to 3 kinds - for the best price. You dont need to choose 3-5 items each step, you just can get everything for the same price. Go there ASAP ❤️🙏
This Poke may be in the top 10 meals I’ve ever had in my life. Ahi, Spicy Tuna, Shrimp, and crab with avocado, mango, jalapeño, masago, and a bunch of other stuff.
They had some great selections for proteins and you can choose white rice, brown rice, salad, or half and half. I had their house sauce, and it tasted great. Fish was fresh.
As I’m a fan of poke bowl I would like to say this one is great. Many choice of sauce and you can choose them all and many choices of protein scoops and topping and the staffs are nice so I would recommend
Amazing poké, even better service. I arrived right as they were about to close, the server was literally about to lock the door, but saw me drive up and let me in to make a bowl. It was such a yummy bowl, and huge portions.
You get a lot of food for what you pay for. It is super tasty, too! Just watch out because they close for a bit during the day then reopen later. Also, their spicy sauces are very spicy, even for me.
First time trying this kind of restaurant. If you like sushi you'll love this. I got my bowl with octopus and it was delicious. They pack the bowls up nicely and they definetly fill you up.
Visited May 2, 2019. Excellent experience, high quality poke, and large portions for the $$. Will be back!

My husband and I loved it! My husband had scallops on his poke. And I am allergic to seafood, so she hooked me up with extra of everything else since I can't have seafood! Delicious! Definitely recommend this! Very tasty, & fresh. And im super picky about my food I choose to eat! I'll be back!
Very friendly staff. Fresh fish. Generous portions. A great place to have poke in Monterey. They provide a wide variety of fish/seafood, toppings, and sauces. I highly recommend this place. I ate here twice in a week while visiting the area for work.
My hats off to the staff for the excellent customer service and most importantly they make delicious poke made to your exact taste you want.
The food is delicious and the price is fair. The employees are nice and polite. I recommend this place.
