It’s the best spot in Old Cloverdale for great Mexican food! Quick service, drinks on point and the food is delicious. Go for the burrito if you want a filling bite but if you’re feeling frisky then get the enchiladas or platters. Gracious portions and you will not be left feeling hungry. See the bar tenders for some great margaritas and other drinks of choice! Five Stars all day long!
This is one of Montgomery's best kept little secrets. Took my wife there last night and we had a great time. Quiet, low lighting and the atmosphere was great. Food was outstanding (perfect!) and the server was more than helpful. I was there about 12 years ago and the place has not changed. Could not ask for anything better, especially those fresh hot chips!
This continues to be one of our favorite spots in the OC. The food and drinks are really, really good and the vibe is just quirky enough to make it awesome. This place is a gem in our neighborhood!
What a great place!!! We visited family in Montgomery (we are from Birmingham) and celebrated my son’s birthday here. The staff was great. The atmosphere was great. And holy moly the food was incredible!!!! Don’t waste any more time. Go if you haven’t already!!!
Every time I come down on business for the last 10 years I have eaten dinner here at least one night. I started by collecting beer bottles as they have an awesome selection of beers. Whether it's the burrito, quesadilla or enchiladas nothing at this restaurant is bad.
Fantastic! The food, the atmosphere, the service, the beer selection, the variety of hot sauces, and the food. A great place to have a nightcap. We stopped in after watching a show at the Shakespeare festival.
Yum! Super atmosphere (nice night so we sat outside), friendly, attentive staff and so many tasty choices it took us 15 minutes to select the sweet potato tacos and spinach salad with tempeh and chili-roasted pumpkin seeds. We're from Huntsville and don't get here often, but we're hoping to come back and work our way through the rest of the menu. Great meal, great value!
The Kale salad (add grilled chicken) is my favorite salad in Montgomery (maybe anywhere). The Cilantro-Lime White BBQ dressing has just the right amount of tangy-ness and is TO DIE FOR. It pairs perfectly with the simplicity of the kale, red onion, and pistachios. Add a raspberry marg to go with it, and you'll be in pure heaven.

Authentic and delicious!! Great selection of craft beer and everything I’ve ever ordered has been hot, fresh and so tasty!
Food is always fresh and excellent and the atmosphere is unlike anything else in town. The selection of homemade salsas is wonderful. They keep a good rotation of craft brews on tap and the specialty margaritas must be tried.

So good, totally affordable, and I had literally the best margarita I may have ever had there. Definitely worth a visit! Make sure you have time/ call ahead though. They stay pretty busy!
Outstanding! Queso with those chunks of chilies, tomatoes, and other herbs is actually the nectar of life. Service is always awesome, and the margaritas are amazing.

We had some fantastic food last weekend. Burrito, a mix of tacos, roasted corn, a mix of chips and dips, margaritas, and tres leches cake!! The bartender knows their stuff and everything was seasoned very well. My favorite was actually the sweet potato taco. It's so good and the goat cheese is a nice addition. Service was also really good as well.
The catfish and cabbage tacos were amazing! I had a raspberry and a peach margarita which were good but didn’t taste strong at all. Customer service was good and although we sat inside, the patio looked fun and relaxing.
Another local hole in the wall eatery. Great staff, wide selection of beers and mixed drinks. Mexican themed, with catfish, chicken, steak and shrimp. They sometimes run out of Tempe. Hey have good tofu. They used to serve delicious meals using soy curls, but abruptly stopped. Last night I had a Jimica salad with marinated tofu. (Ran out of tempe)
the tacos i got here were so delicious! ive been twice and each time my server was nice and incredibly helpful. Hope was super nice and helped me get a really tasty virgin drink from the bar. also love every salsa ive tried. cant wait to come back! ive never eaten inside (only the convenient outdoor dining with heaters) so that may be my next move.
Ordered the steak fajitas. The food was good. They had average to small sized portions of meat, the tortillas were a little dry but the steak was very tender and flavorful. Sat outside, had a really nice ambiance and the heaters were awesome. Staff was great I’d give an extra half star just for them. They hooked me up with extra spicy hot sauce that was not on the menu. It won’t be your favorite spot but you won’t be upset that you went there, has good potential.

The road from the highway was bazar but when we arrived we knew we were in the right place.
