Great first experience! Found this place by accident. The service was fantastic and the food was excellent. It was a perfect day around 75 degrees with a great breeze to eat by the water. We would definitely recommend it and will be back next time we're in town.
While the parking was limited, this restaurant was fantastic. We ordered the Tuna Poke nachos, which were fresh, delicious, and served fast. The waterfront views were top-notch, so make sure to ask to eat outside. Our server was friendly, welcoming, and had a great chill vibe. We will be back to try other dishes on their menu.
We were looking for a place to eat lunch outside on the water. Happily, we stumbled on this place. Lively atmosphere and a nice breeze coming off of the water. Friendly servers, good local beers on tap, and some interesting food options. I was ready for a break from fried seafood and was pleased to find several fresh options from which to choose. I had the fresh catch quinoa bowl, which came with tuna and an Asian style peanut dressing on the side. Very tasty. My husband has the softshell crab sandwich special with a side of potato salad (made with new potatoes and slightly mustardy), both of which he really liked. There was a ni
Came back a second time, and very happy I did. The staff was incredibly friendly, service was prompt, and the food yall...is outstanding! Plenty of options to choose from, and I look forward to trying all of em! Oh, and the views don't suck either. Enjoying a meal on the waterfront is tough to beat.
Shout out to Gale (manager). Her communication and humble personality drew me back, and she really cares about the guests, and strives for perfection. Thanks for having me! I shall return 😎
Great place to grab lunch and a cold beverage!
- Prompt, perfectly attentive service
- Food was fresh and prepared expertly
- Right on the water
Ordered the French Dip and the Bacon & Pimento Cheese Burger, both with fries... both were delicious!
Jeff and Stephanie have created a unique dining experience. The food is fresh, well prepared, and delicious. The waterfront location and incredible views cap off a great meal. The Yellowfin is always one of my top choices for dining as well as a top choice to recommend to friends. It is always full of locals which speaks for itself.
I had the oyster basket and the oysters were pretty good! They gave a very generous amount. The service was okay. I think our waitress checked on this maybe two times not including coming with our checks. The atmosphere was pretty good. The only weird thing was the great view of the water was blocked by a big screen television. I personally when eating at an open-air restaurant on the water would rather see the water than a big screen television with a All-Star high school basketball game on.
This place is great! They have a wonderful menu. They have tasty mixed drinks. Good service. Great view. The sanitation grade is a low A, but I’ve eaten here plenty and never had any issues. The manager is knowledgeable and accommodating. We usually eat here 2-3 times during a visit to PKS. I high recommend this place.
Excellent time! Food was amazing and great drinks! Thanks to our waitress, Katie, for excellent service! Be sure to ask for her if you visit. She’ll take good care of you!
Good vibes dining outside at yellowfins, love the #18 club with the potatoe salad, yum. Gale makes wonderful drinks, try one her specials. Enjoy the views and laid back atmosphere. The hot garlic wings 😋 are fantastic and the tuna nachos is big and yummy
I was pleasantly surprised by this place. The food was really good. Real tasty and huge portions. The staff is friendly and did their best to accommodate us, as busy as they were.
From all the waterfront places in Moorhead City this has been the best one I’ve tried.
Cool place hid away on the waterfront. Waitstaff was friendly and attentive. The food was good. Crab dip was tasty, little on the cold side. Churizo fries were too sweet in my opinion. Tasted like spaghetti sauce. I had the pimento cheeseburger and it was good. Your not going to be "Wow'd" after the food but it is a great place to hang out with friends and socialize and have some drinks.
Tuna Poke Nachos appetizer was huge and delicious. Grinder sandwiches were crammed with meat on fresh ciabatta bread. Outdoor dining next to the water with great service. Reasonable prices, great food and wonderful service.
We love this place! Their sandwiches are the best in town and always great service. Love the view of the water while we eat, too.
We paddle boarded for 3 hours today and was thirsty, tired and hangry. Found the restaurant on google and was able to leave our boards on the dock, eat an amazing lunch and rest. Loved the steam shrimp, beet salad and blueberry cheesecake! We didn’t have any money on us but they took Apple wallet which was awesome!!
Amazing staff friendly and fast. Must have tuna nachos! Great view of the water with a nice breeze. Drinks were great only negative was they could have been colder.
Great place to go for lunch. They have umbrellas for shade and the breeze off the water is nice. The Italian sub warmed up is my favorite with home chips and ranch! Great atmosphere. This is where the locals go too!
Open air seating next to the water. Everyone we were in contact with was amazing. The waiter even asked the kitchen about sauces without dairy and brought me three options to try. Very awesome food. Enjoyed the place and definitely have it on a return again list.
