Update: I STILL love LaCocina!!! Try their new menu item: the tender ribeye steak a la Mexicana (without tomatoes) Also V and the staff are still amazing
I love La Cocina... Its my go to neighborhood bar. The drink specials are great, and the service you receive is even better. I love all if the dishes with steak and/or shrimp. They don't cut corners with the amount of shrimp. The wings are a nice size and are great too.
New favorite: their fish tacos are soooo good!!!!

I've been to both the East Garner and Cary locations four times now, so this was the first time I tried another location in Morrisville. I definitely thought they do serve a little bigger portion for lunch I thought for my shrimp fajitas than Cary did. But, SO good and food is consistent and the same deliciousness at both locations though. I have made it my go to Mexican food place now at least two times in the week when I need that big So California hug, as I heard the owners were from CA and the food is consistent with what I find in CA. There's now no reason to go shopping around for better mexican food. I found it here finally! It's that good and my leftovers are always gone! This is what I had leftover after eating two fajitas already so it was enough at least for three more to take home. I also LOVE their hard shell ground beef tacos, way better and quicker at lunch than taco bell ever would be!
Our third time eating here; Today, 16 April 2022 at this establishment. The head boss is an awesome guy, always gives me my military discount. The food has a great presentation. The atmosphere is always welcoming and cozy. The wait staff are very friendly. A keen sense of attention to detail. This is a must go to Mexican restaurant. Carne Asada with rice and beans was delicious and tender. Definitely going back😉
Loved the folk art just to start...beautiful bold colors. The staff was very pleasant and quick. Food arrived very fast and was delicious. Definitely will return each time we are in town! Very affordable and quaint
The Chicken Nachos were great here! We enjoyed coming here for lunch after church.
Love this little hidden gem which is close to alot but usually not too busy.. The food is delicious and very well priced. I also appreciate they offer lunch prices Monday through Sunday. Great deal and worth checking out. Come in for margarita and enjoy this La Cocina.
Good variety of options available in this restaurant.. you can customize ur menu.. they have a very good offer tap beers.. quantity is good and worth of money..desert is awesome and must try.
We're freshly moved to North Carolina, and finding "our" Mexican restaurant has been difficult. We have been twice now, and are obsessed. With the great prices, great quality of food, amazing flavors and friendly staff, we can definitely say this is "our" place.
