My husband and I have gone several times and have had good experiences. Seafood night is always good at least for us and the casaul dining food is also good but the wait between getting your next plate of crab legs did take a while even though we put our next order in as soon as she set the pkates down...but all on all worth it to us!!!
Staff is great. And we never wait very long for our food. The spaghetti and meatballs are delish, as are the Itailian trio.

First time to Amato's and I thought my pizza was delicious. We got a traditional cheese & marinara with green peppers & also tried a buffalo chicken bacon ranch pizza. I ate 3 slices of each. The crust is to die for, amazing crunch & the hint of burnt makes it perfect. Was recommended by a close friend who told me that the Italian sandwiches & dinners are excellent too, but I'm such a pizza lover, I'm not sure I will get to far into the menu, the different pizzas are enough for me to plan on returning

Amato's was excellent! Our expectations were definitely exceeded- from the food as well as the service and atmosphere. Everyone in my party enjoyed their meals and the menu had a large number of unique options at reasonable prices. We'll be back sometime soon!

Three of us ordered 2 gourmet pizza pies. The star is a Stella pizza- it was amazing, so many topings that melded well together. The arugula pizza is the other picture and again, plenty of toppings. Our waitress was very pleasant and the food and drinks arrived quickly. I highly recommend Amato's in mount Joy!
The food is great, my Chicken Fajita Wrap was delicious. My husband really enjoyed his Cheesesteak. Ready to go back and try some other delicious item. Wonderful servers. Thank you. The meatballs were a sub, but I usually order hot subs with no roll. They were delicious.

Wonderful experience. The food is absolutely amazing, the staff is terrific, and you leave with a smile on your face. Definitely worth stopping in for lunch or dinner. You won't be disappointed.
I tried their new Pucce sandwiches and they are spectacular. It's fresh handmade bread for the sandwich cooked in the brick oven. Prices are slightly higher than your usual pizza joint (paid $12 for a sandwich instead of $9 at other places). But the quality and flavors of the food are totally worth it.
The food is beyond amazing !!! I work at a hotel and recommomended numerous guests to go here. Nevertheless, they have come back raving about it !!! The bread and cup of oil that comes with entrees is fabulous. The brick oven pizza is flawless, a must order no matter what !!! The prices are very reasonable and food is out of this world. A nice place to enjoy a date night or with the family.
We finally got around to trying out Amato's. We got their wood-fired pizzas (yes it's a real wood-fired oven...not gas) and we were REALLY impressed. To us, the pizzas were comparable to LUCA in Lancaster City (seriously). I cannot speak to the rest of their menu, but as far as the pizzas go...we'll be back!
Easy to get to Pub on main street in Mount Joy. A nice variety of seating options for lunch/dinner or just the bar scene. The waiter did a great job with our orders and kept the drinks topped off. The portions are pretty large for the low price. The Hawaiian sandwich was stuffed full of grilled ham and pineapple. And the spicy ranch sauce on the wings was delicious.
Real woodfire people!! Not the gas brick ovens most places try to pass off. Full bar , newly renovated, great gourmet pizza and Italian dinners!
Well, it's an great local Italian restaurant, polite staff. The Antipasto Salad was delicious & generous.... So so good! We'll go back for pasta for sure.
