I’ve been here many times & have enjoyed each time. However, this time warranted a review. I ordered the Tuna Tostada and WOW they were DELICIOUS, a very generous amount of Tuna. SO FRESH, every bite was perfect. As I sit here writing this I am thinking about placing another order 😅… okay yup just placed another order. To pair, I got a mezcal jalapeño margarita and it is amazing
YES YES YES!
You want to visit Tipsy Taco. Just do it. You won't regret it.
Take your friends out to dinner, or go to the bar. I promise you'll enjoy the food. The tacos are "food truck style." They are really really really good. Their main entrees are very good as well such as the burritos. The apps are also super good and will feed the entire table. Tipsy Taco did recently raise their prices a bit, so make sure you are ready to spend $$$ instead of $$ when coming to get a bite here. I ordered lunch the other day and it cost me $40 bucks... Yikes. BUT WORTH IT (Just not everyday). The staff is very friendly as well! I will be returning again soon.
Overall Rating: 10/10
Finally, a restaurant/bar that caters to the young professionals. For so long, many of the restaurants near Mt. Kisco were geared towards families or grade schoolers. This place felt youthful, vibrant but still sophisticated. Great for dates or catching up with friends over one of their delicious and deceptively strong Margaritas. It does get a bit kitschy at times when it felt like half of their menu is brought out in flames or some sort of presentation. The food was ok. We got the tacos with steak which I thought was a bit salty. I had the beef consommé taco and the Baja shrimp taco (although what they brought was the Baja fish). The beef taco was spectacular and the consommé they bring on the side is perfectly light but flavorful. The fish taco was ok.
We went on a Friday night and it was busy, busy, busy. They don’t take reservations for parties under 4 - we were 3. We waited about 30 minutes to be seated. The staff is very friendly and it seems they interact (and some to be close friends) with the patrons also which always means that it’s a local spot.
I had the birria quesadilla, this is not only the best birria quesadilla I have ever had but the best food in general I have had in a while. I am VERY particular. The beef was good quality, cooked with love, and slow cooked to velvety perfection. I loved that the cilantro and onions were on top instead of inside because lately every quesadilla I’ve had has been LOADED with more onions/cilantro than beef or cheese. The presentation was beautiful, the service was friendly and quick, and everything was overall fantastic. So happy I came here and I can’t wait to go back.
Found this place from one of their ads on Google maps, and I'm glad I clicked on it. If Mt Kisco didn't already have so many good food options, this is another to add on that list. My girlfriend and I arrived as they opened for brunch, and we were pleasantly surprised. Interior of the place is nice and upbeat with a decent size bar. Service was attentive and helpful, but the food topped everything. I got 7 tacos, and not one disappointed. From our app to the mains, everything was spot on which included the generous bottomless sangria servings. Overall a great experience and we will have to come back for dinner service.
Chill and pretty place, we sat outside. Kept a menu and kept ordering lol and the food was great! There's even a cool truck parked there and some games for you to play if needed. The vibes are definitely there! 10/10 would return
Got takeout from here, the staff was quick and friendly retrieving our order. The lighting and music had good vibes that made me regret doing just takeout (though it looked popular though that there may have been a wait (8pm Saturday night). The food was good, my only complaint was that the chips in the Chips & Guac aren't that great (either that or at best they were stale).
Edit: came here as NY started reopening the area. Every table had hand sanitizer. Staff was courteous and patient. Food was just as good as we remembered.
Came here for brunch with my partner one Sunday on a whim based on a Google ad. Let’s just say this place did not disappoint and we will be coming back.
The place is spacious and well decorated. And the food, the food is what makes this place great. I have to highlight how great the carne asada tacos and enchilada were. Mouthwatering, tender and delicious are the words to describe the carne asada. Their in house salsa looks different than expected from other places, but was great. Cannot forget to mention their in house sauces. My favorite of the three was the roasted salsa verde. Absolutely mouth watering good.
Their bottomless sangria was strong and enjoyed the White over the red. We will most definitely be visiting again to try other items on the menu.
Really happy with our dinner here! Wish they had a kids menu but they were able to make a plain chicken taco for us. Tortilla soup is delicious. Definitely want to try more!
Lighting’s great, foods great, bartenders are cool. Those tacos 😋
I love it hear, amazing staff ,very kind, delicious food, great for kids, definitely coming back!!!😉
2nd visit. Ok we came back and realized they have great menu with lots of options that are well worth the price. Great variety of tacos and other specialties. Check out the nacho served right from a hot plate
1st visit. Excellent food a little pricey but is worth the price. Takeout very convenient to park next door.
Bar area hopping at 5 on a Friday night with a strong happy hour. Ladies heavily outnumbered the men. The rest of the restaurant was pretty barren. Started filling in around 6. Service was very good. Waitress friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. Good was delicious. Fresh guacamole, the elotes are a must. Backup staff quick to clear and get refills. Restaurant has great decor. Only complaint was very chilly near the windows. We weren't the only booth wearing our jackets through dinner.
Had a doctor appt near by and just searched for door near me and omg what a find!!!! I got the Carne Azada Tacos and WOW 🤤 and the quacamole is perfect!!!! Ordered online while still in doctors office and it was ready when I got here. Easy, delicious, and I’ll be back. Thank you and GO ORDER NOW!!!!
Sundays just got better. When I saw the new Sunday Brunch menu, I knew I had to stop in, how can one resist banana pancakes?... It didn't disappoint.
We ordered the buttermilk pancakes, side of Chorizo, Eggs with cheese/jalapenos, Pan Frances (french toast) and Carne Asada tacos and freshly squeezed grapefruit juice (hard to find that locally!). Can you say plated perfection.
Will definitely be back soon.
Visited here after work with friends on April 19th. Excellent service and delicious food. The people there work as a team to give you the best service. The artwork was beautiful and helps to create a relaxed ambience. Definitely a place I will return to eat!
The food is excellent. Got 7 different tacos (no seafood) and all were amazing. Also got organic chicken bowl and a few traditional drinks and they were all better than expected.
