This place was the absolute bomb. The food was really really good and the service was phenomenal. My fiancé and I was looking for a new place to try and came across this place! I highly recommend the bacon wrapped hush puppies and shrimp and grits! To top it off our server was exceptional ❤️❤️❤️❤️
What a comforting downhome place to visit! They make their own coffee, 8 different flavors to choose from, at a self serve coffee bar with almond milk, half and half, or whole milk. Our favorite was the pecan coffee. Food was delicious with big portions. I had the meat crepes. Picture of the one I couldn’t eat because I was already full of the first one! Delicious, with great customer service.
First time trying this sweet and cozy place and will definitely be back . The welcome was so warm that we felt comfortable the moment we walked in , everyone was so nice and greeted us with a happy face . The food smell took over the entire area where we were sitting at , smelled delicious and it for sure tasted amazing ! Not one complain , everything was absolutely perfect . Will be back and if you’re wondering if you should try JUST DO IT . No regrets .
We were in town for a baseball tournament and looking for a good local breakfast spot and Google showed us a few of the top spots in Mt. Pleasant. We chose Sunrise Bistro and it didn't disappoint. It was reasonably priced, had a fantastic local vibe, and the food was AMAZING👏‼️‼️
We had the Mediterranean open-faced omelet and added bacon 🥓 & eggs your way and a side of breakfast potatoes. Both excellent! And... a BONUS... A COFFEE BAR!! I love coffee so I got to try a few and they were all incredible. The Colombian Brew was my favorite.
The waiter (Nate) was GREAT! - He was attentive and on point!
The greeter was friendly on the way in and the way out.
Will definitely be back next time we are in Mt. Pleasant!
Went for the first time today (a Thursday) sat immediately by some very friendly staff, they had plenty of open tables, and were quick to welcome me.
Drinks and menus were brought over immediately. Food came out like 3 seconds after I ordered it and was v tasty. I got the farmers omelette with the house made bread which was amazing. Food was great. Price was reasonable.
Something unique is they have a self service coffee bar with like 5 flavors (regular, some light roast, candy bar, bourbon, and decaf) and they have the style of mugs I like which is more important than you’d think 😂.
Also I didn’t catch my waiters name but he was a middle aged gentleman that was incredibly friendly and kind and quick to help me with anything I needed. He made the experience!
Today we tried something new. When I tell you this food was hands down the best food I’ve had in the last two weeks it’s an understatement. The only thing is the use a lot of onions and peppers in everything so just ask for light. Everything was flavorful and the portion sizing is enough to share. Would definitely go again.
Great hospitality and service. We ate here two days in a row! The second day we were going to eat somewhere else but the service was so bad we came back to sunrise. So worth it! Delicious food and large portions, definitely get your moneys worth. $4 mimosas too, can’t beat that!
As a local who has been coming here since day 1 this is my 'go to' local diner vibe kind of place. All the food is very good with above average service. If u watch DDD this is that kind of joint. Solid. Oh ya, they roast their own coffee locally too.
Been to the Johns Island location a couple of times now, and the MP location is every bit as good. The people, the food, the coffee, everything is always amazing. I recommend them to anyone that asks about good brunch in CHS. Not only are they one of the best in the area, but they’re also super affordable. The mimosa I had was strong, not watered down oj.
Every time we come into Mount Pleasant we make a point of coming to this diner for breakfast. The staff is awesome and the food is fabulous! We will be back!
