Menu has changed over time, but always innovative and worth coming back for another visit. Service on our last visit was perfect, allowing us to have conversation without intrusion, but never missing a step. Love this place.
Ordering a gluten free option was very easy. Service was good, atmosphere was great. Meal was flavorful and arrived hot. The moving fans mesmerize me, I love them.

Burger Tuesday is where it's at!! The regular menu looks pretty expensive, but build your own burger on Tuesdays is the best!! Never disappointed!
Fabulous experience! Unique and upscale atmosphere with an amazing variety of lunch choices to please even the vegetarian. As a bonus, Cameron provided the best service from start to finish. We look forward to experiencing dinner at the Brass Cafe, as well as entertaining friends and family here.
Tuesday has become a build-a-burger night at the Brass for hubby and me. Juiciest angus burgers in town. Wonderful variety and overwhelming number of topping choices from traditional to gourmet.
I love their small plates on Thursdays, and they are constantly changing their menu! They have food you can't get anywhere else around here. It's definitely not another Applebees!
We were so pleased with our meal! Everything, from appetizer to dessert, was outstanding. The lamb shank is amazing!

While driving through Mt.P we decided to stop for dinner. After reading Google reviews and looking at photos we decided The Brass looked like a good place eat. Parking was a little difficult, but we did end up finding a spot after driving around a few times.
As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the hostess and seated immediately. Within minutes a very friendly and knowledgeable waitress was at our table taking our drink order and going over the special. Everything on the menu looked amazing! The soup of the day was dill pickle, which I've never heard of before but love pickles. So the waitress let me sample some. It was so delicious I ended up getting a bowl of it for dinner.😁 I'm not a big meat eater, but I would highly recommend the tenderloin tip stroganoff. I can't stop thinking about how wonderful that dish was. The meat was so tender!
We will definitely be back. It was nice seeing smiles on the wait staff faces as they were out on the floor. Anymore these days the wait staff seem very unhappy at most restaurants. But that was not the vibe I got while observing them here. I can't wait to stop back and try a dessert and another entree. Thanks for the great service!
Great food! We ordered the ribeye and got the mushroom rosoto instead of the side it came with. Steak was cooked perfectly! The deviled eggs were also amazing. We asked to be seated in a more private area due to a group of older folks that acted like they haven't been out in public in a while (or maybe they were regulars that didn't care about people that have to listen to them yell and swear) other than that. The restaurant was absolutely beautiful, the staff and service was great. The prices are on the high side, but that's what you get when you want good food. Definitely will be back.
My wife and I went out to celebrate our anniversary. This was the best meal we've had at a restaurant in years! The appetizers came out immediately and the food was ready when we were finishing the appetizers. My steak was a perfect medium rare (which it seems is a lost art) and my wife's pork shank was beautiful and tender. The service was excellent, the decor was quaint and inviting, everything was amazing all around and we will be back again!
We had a great lunch in the bar area. The sandwiches and chips/sweet fries were delicious. Cocktails yummy. Service was friendly and prompt. A super fun experience. We will definitely repeat.

I've been here twice in the past two years and had a great experience both times! Some may complain about the prices, but in my opinion it is well worth the quality of ingredients and uniqueness of the menu.
We went for our anniversary and I called ahead to ensure that the kitchen was willing to accommodate my fish and seafood allergy. The manager, Jarin, was professional and understanding. At dinner, he stopped by the table several times and communicated with the kitchen. I had the Cherry Duck and my husband had the Espresso rubbed steak. Both dishes were incredible. We also had the deviled eggs as an app and the relish on top made the whole dish.
I went again with some friends and we all enjoyed the seasonal cocktail selections. Again the staff handled my allergy extremely well. I had the Basil Cappelini with chicken and it was fresh and flavorful.
Hidden gem! We found this cute little spot online on our way from Mackinac Island to Nashville as we were looking for a place to have dinner before staying overnight in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan.
We called in advance to make a reservation. Etta assured us that we made the perfect restaurant choice and boy, was she right! When we arrived, we decided to eat at the bar instead of the dining area. Our bartender (Lizzie) was awesome! She offered to let us try the soup du jour which was Dill Pickle Bisque - it was surprisingly outstanding, so we ordered a cup, as well as a bread basket. For dinner, we enjoyed a nice Cabernet Sauvignon and shared Za’atar Herb Rack of Ribs which were full of flavor!
Delicious food, great service, cute restaurant! If we ever find ourselves in Mt. Pleasant again, this will be our restaurant of choice!
First time. We got the Honey Walnut Shrimp, Ribeye, and New York strip. Everything was great! Textbook perfect medium rare cooks on the steaks, great beer selection and our waiter was great! Definitely recommend and will be back!

This is hands down the choice for date night, every time. My boyfriend and I have always had amazing service and exceptional food. Jacob went the extra mile and has made the last two visits very memorable. The Brussel sprouts are to die for, and my pasta is always cooked to perfection. Great staff, great food, great environment. Always my first recommendation for fine dining in Mount Pleasant.

Went for lunch today on the dining room side. Really liked the quiet, comfortable, somewhat darkened ambiance. Brass ceiling lamps and a very cool linear ceiling fan. The elk skull/antlers seemed out of place but not a deal breaker.
Artisan bread was fantastic...our entrees (steak, Cordon Bleu) were delicious. Ordered some bread 'to go' but the wife dropped them on the rainy sidewalk...went back inside and our server replaced them at no charge.
I mentioned to her that we were somewhat new to the area but I think we found "our spot".
Shared a dinner with my mom, aunt and grandma. Awesome oysters, great salad and salmon. We sat outside and the server was on point. Absolutely recommend. I'm from Detroit but will be back when I visit my family.
