Excellent pizzas and service at a surprisingly reasonable price. I came here with some friends because we saw that it was in the Michelin guide and we were very satisfied with our experience. There is plenty of seating indoors and outdoors, so getting a table was easy
The place is really nice. Great interiors and open sorta kitchen gives it a pizzeria vibe. The food is amazing. We ordered
Appetizers:
Brussels sprouts - well cooked (in other restaurants I've they burn the sprouts),
Calamari & Shrimp (less oily compared to some other places I've had)
Main course:
Ravioli - this was the star of the show. Creamy and melts in your mouth. Absolutely delicious. I'm gonna go there frequently just to have Ravioli.
Fungo white pizza - even though I like my pizzas cheesy, this less cheese pizza was still great. Thin, freshly made crust with some fresh mushrooms and double cheese was really well cooked.
Dessert:
Hazelnut Tartufo - just one word, scrumptious!
Solid place. The ingredients are high quality and sourced well. I think overall, the restaurant might be slightly overrated. Recognizing the challenging times might be cause to hurry, I wish the waiters took more time when we ordered to answer questions and provide better hospitality. The chorizo pizza was yummy.
Good Italian Vibe. Place gets super busy during weekends so make a reservation ahead of time. We ordered Delizia, Pulcinella, Calamari Shrimp, Burrata and salads. All the dishes were good. They have veg options available in Pasta and Pizza both (but limited). It is a bit noisy (we went with our 2 months old) and a little cramped for a big group.
Casual Italian, bright social atmosphere. Fries arrived hot, crispy, strongly truffle! Fettuccine wild boar is unique, a must-try. The Zuppa di pesce (seafood stew) had fresh shrimps, fish, clams, etc. But the pizzas? Meh, a bit too soggy for my liking.
The food is great here. The ravioli and pasta were awesome. They definitely have a nice wine selection. Definitely worth to try it out. I would to prefer to have dinner over here instead of lunch.
Very comforting and welcoming place. Staff is incredibly efficient and the dishes absolutely well made. Pizza's crusts are really well done. Completely recommend.
We had a nice romantic Valentine's dinner here. The ravioli was great, and their wine selection is delicious. I got a Tuscan blend and my SO got a Vermentino. The burrata was great, but overall the pizza (Doppio Zero) was underwhelming - it felt more like flatbread. The truffle fries were nice - thin, crispy (but not oily), and the right amount of nutty flavor notes from truffle oil. In dessert, the tiramisu was the right textur- just the right amount of wetness in the sponge, but the coffee flavor was not really there and we mostly tasted bland cream.
What I loved about the place though was that they gave us balloons and roses to take home! Overall, we had a nice night, 4-stars mostly because of the pizza.
