This place was a pleasant surprise. I felt right at home here. The food was excellent! The staff friendly and fast. Live music was great as well! I had meatloaf, wings, and country fried steak the three nights I attended and all of them were very good. We also had the apple crisp desert with ice cream it was amazing.

11/10/23 first time here. Been wanting to come here for some time. Met my friend and we sat at the bar- it was nice and a good craft beer selection. Frost (duo) was playing and they sounded great and not too loud. We then moved into the dining room for dinner, i had the southwest rigatoni and it was good, interesting flavors. It could have been hotter, temps varied across different parts of the dish. It was a good sized portion too. I'd get it again. I let our server know, she offered to fix it but i was ok with it overall. Hopefully if YOU order it after reading this, the temperature of the food will be consistent :) We had the pickle chips to start and my friend had the quesadilla - good. I may have to get that next time. Tres leches for dessert was good and a nice size- Service was good and friendly. I look forward to returning soon.

My wife and I really enjoyed our meal during our visit to the Poconos in August 2023. Frustratingly for us, the first two restaurants where we were planning on dining that evening closed at 9 p.m., even though per Google, both restaurants were open until 10. (That fact became obvious to me only when I called those restaurants to make reservations.) Having had our first two options ruled out, we then searched for a restaurant that would be open fairly late in the evening. We then came across The Pour House which was supposedly open until midnight. When we arrived at The Pour House, we were happy to be promptly seated. We were also happy to see live music being played at the front of the restaurant and happier still when the musician played Elton John's Rocketman, one of my favorite songs! Now to food: For our main courses, I got the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich and my wife got the Chicken Fajitas. While my bun could have benefited from some mayo/ butter spread on it and my wife's fajitas could have likewise benefited from some salt, both of us enjoyed our main courses. My fries, that came with the sandwich, were particularly nice - crispy and well-seasoned. Although we were quite full after the large portions served to us, we decided to try out their desserts and got the brownie sundae. The icecream in that sundae was delicious and we licked up the whole mason jar clean. Besides the food, the service was very good. Our server helped my wife try out two beverages before she made her selection. She also checked in with us periodically and brought us side plates or napkins as we needed them. There were two other girls helping clean the tables or attending to guest requests and both of them were friendly and helpful. Lastly, value. Our entire meal, that included two entrees, a beer, and a huge dessert, came to $52. Even with a $8 tip added, it was still $60. Not cheap, but in today's day and age, those prices seemed very reasonable, especially considering how many restaurants in the Poconos jack up prices for tourists. Not The Pour House! All in all, I enjoyed my experience here enough that I would be happy to come back here again if I found myself in the area.

Live music! Great place to get some good grub and good music! The prices are super cheap and the menu is all American barbecue . We went in for a couple drinks and ended up staying all night! The bar staff is super friendly too and you have a huge selection of local beers 🍻

I had Photos done for the Food I got but I accidentally deleted them because my ICloud Storage is Full, I Love the Waitresses especially I believe her name was Abby a Full of Life and Beautiful Person there are others just as Wonderful, the Food is Delicious especially the Mcale Wings and Pourhouse Loaded Fries they are my Go To especially the Mcale Wings are my Dads Favorite Wings he’s ever had it takes him back to the old pub bar days in the City, so why I gave it a 4 Star I’d give it 4 in a half if I could because of they’re I guess the owner because my mom and I weren’t even finished and dad was out to get air the man says are use done and we’re like well we’re still waiting for and he didn’t listen to us finish what we’re going to say so he took all of our food in the containers and in the bags while he said did you like the food mom said well my husband says your wings are his favorite and the guy very Sarcastically Laughs and said okay leaves not a single have good night had us leave the table sorry to the other workers whoever this Man with glasses that works the Bar probably the owner that’s the reason I put Four Stars well it’s still Four Stars.

Great food and beer selection along with a full bar. The last two visits were good. However, the one sandwich was slightly over toasted this time. The server was spectacular. We will definitely be back.

Very clean and charming atmosphere. Our server was wonderful. The food came out quickly and was very very good. Would definitely go back. Typical tavern cuisine. The PourHouse fries were excellent, as was the coconut shrimp and French onion soup.

5/29/2022: After a morning of shooting at Sunset Hill range with my family, we decided to stop here again for an early afternoon lunch. My husband and I came here a while back in 2019 and decided to bring more family members along. Once again, we were not disappointed with the food or service. Christie, our server, was very sweet and attentive from start to finish. Everything was delicious -the ribs/brisket w/pineapple coleslaw, burgers (the spicy one), the mac & cheese bites, the wings, the sweet potato fries and for DESSERT -the homemade apple pie was out of this world. If you stop here, do yourself a favor and get the homemade apple pie. You will not be disappointed.

This restaurant was cute. My dish was so so, my boyfriend enjoyed his dish more. I would return but try a different dish. I did enjoy my drink.

Had a nice relaxing time catching up with friends. Our server was great, giving us plenty of time and not rushing us to hurry up and get out, we appreciated that. The food was good, we all loved our dessert, chocolate cake, lemon berry marscapone cake and the cheesecake was all really good. We will definitely be back! Looking forward to a chilly night when the fire place on.🔥

The food was fine and the drinks were good. While we had no one come to us for about 10 minutes after being seated, once the waitress did arrive, she was back every couple of minutes to check on us. They had just opened 30 minutes prior so I’m assuming they were a little busy. Their wings were raved about by someone nearby and we had the smoked ones… they were fine. A little dry but quality wings none the less. Their french fries, while looking delicious lacked flavor and crunch to them... maybe an extra minute or two in the frier and a touch of pepper would hep? I would probably go back here.

Came here with my family and was instantly greeted with friendly staff. The food was the best we had in the Poconos and the drinks were fantastic. The vibes were great! Would 10/10 recommend.

Very friendly staff and enjoyable bar/restaurant. Good for bar food. They are taking Covid-19 precautions and it seems they're being responsible đź‘Ť. Had fajita salad and smoked brisket. Both were good and I would go back - I'd like to see the live music here! I'm glad they had outdoor seating.
