I have wanted to try Dallas & Jane since before Alex opened the doors to the public. I had tried his food at other catered events in the past and tonight’s first visit did not disappoint!
Every single dish was amazing. Seriously.
My girlfriends and I all ordered a different starter and three different entrees. We all shared a bit and all agreed that everything was so good! How often can you go to an upscale restaurant here in Murfressboro and be able to say that!?! The service was perfect, every dish was delicious, creative and just beautiful to see! The atmosphere was classy yet comfortable, simple yet elegant, fancy yet not pretentious. Just enough choices on both food and beverages to have something to offer nearly everyone’s taste.
I know that many of my friends have asked about the prices so I’ll add that for the amazing quality of food, combined with the great service, the atmosphere, the ample parking, the fact that you don’t have to drive to downtown Nashville and pay for parking in order to have a dining experience such as this, all make Dallas & Jane a huge win!
Honestly, you don’t need to have a special occasion to try Dallas & Jane... Dallas & Jane IS the special occasion!
While the food was incredible, the service was even more impressive!! My husband and I went for a random date night. We had the Korean meatballs, I had the scallops, and my husband had the steak. Then we shared the strawberry shortcake. The food was incredible! The meatballs have the best flavor, his steak was cooked beautifully, and my scallops were perfect and the strawberry shortcake was the perfect southern take on my favorite desert!! We were lucky enough to be waited on by Sky and she was the best part of the experience. We will definitely be back!!

My husband and I had the privilege of dining at Dallas & Jane a couple weeks ago. We did not have a reservation and our plan was to go and just enjoy a few drinks then go somewhere else for dinner. Instead we sat for a while and when two bar chairs opened we took our place. The rest of the evening was perfect...mainly because of the food and phenomenal bartenders. We tried almost every small plate and when the chef “Alex” himself insisted that we try the “bowl of goodness” my husbands only response was- “I could eat that everyday”! Each and every dish was perfectly flavored and perfectly designed. Beautiful and tasty- a combination hard to find In Murfreesboro. If you have not tried this restaurant, your missing out. A gem in the “boro” for sure!
I'm beyond happy to see this town gain another place to actually have a dining experience with spectacular food unique to Murfreesboro rather than another place to just have a meal.
We had dinner here last Friday for our anniversary and it was fabulous! I had the spare rib with beans and potato salad and loved it! I also had the cherry pie for dessert and it was delicious!! Can’t say enough good things about our food, the place was beautiful, and the service was great as well. We will definitely be back.

Tonight was the first time we were able to go for dinner. The food was amazing. The crawfish hush puppies were sooo good. The bowl of goodness (I had no idea what I was eating) was awesome. I ordered the grouper; I was hesitant at first, being from Florida I am a bit of a fish snob. It was so fresh. I KNOW fresh fish in TN!! This is a great date night place. We’ve already decided that our next GNO will be hush puppies, cherry pie, and wine!
Alex’s food is like nothing else in Murfreesboro. A restaurant like this is much needed. The service is spectacular. I recommend the crawfish hush puppies.
The food was terrific and the staff was excellent we were treated very well highly recommend this restaurant chefs did an excellent job with the food and everything was excellent!! Food was phenomenal!!!

Every detail from the flooring to the lighting creates an amazing experience and atmosphere. Chef Belew and his team provided 3 courses plus cocktails of pure delight. Anissa was a wonderful server. The entire staff was extremely attentive and sincere. We were asked by the front of house not if things were okay or good, but asked if they were ‘perfect’. Perfect is exactly what everything was.

Inviting atmosphere. Absolutely delicious food. Will definitely go back. It was the best meal I've eaten in a while.
Service and food were both top notch. The Korean Meatballs had a just the right touch of heat and the spaghetti squash with kale chips was out of this world. We were very impressed and look forward to return visits!
Everything was so flavorful! Foods are seasoned and flavors are paired to highlight the food's natural qualities. The Korean meatballs are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside with an amazing glaze and crispy rice "chips." Only Alex could take characteristically heavy foods like biscuits and hush puppies and make them seem light! The sear on the trout was perfect, the marinated vegetables were fresh and crisp...literally everything was perfect! One of my girls tried to eat the homemade blueberry jelly with a spoon and even though we all said we had the perfect feeling of fullness and satisfaction after our meals were finished we still looked like cavemen attacking our desserts! Not only is the food amazing, the environment is welcoming and the staff look for ways that they can go above and beyond to serve you. After your first visit you will want to find excuses to go back again and again!
Celebrated a friend’s birthday dinner here, and it did not disappoint. Service was top notch, and the food was amazing. So happy to have a unique restaurant like this so close to home!
