I tried the Greek Chili Dog and Chicago Dog. So good! My son said his burger was tasty as well. The fries could've used some seasoning though. The lobby was closed so we had to use the drive thru. It was a long wait, even though there were only two cars ahead of me.
Great shakes. I reccomend the pumpkin spice π the ruben dogs are great but the gyro wraps are better! Don't order the Greek dog bc its just an chili dog π€¦πΎββοΈ
Muskegon's original Greek chilli dog since 1926, and still my favorite. Sat down & ordered, within 3 minutes my chilli dog was in front of me. Great food at good prices, $1.70 for a chili dog.The most expensive thing on the menu is my namesake sandwich, a Reuben @ $8 and it comes with fries or chips. Their switch to paper straws from plastic shows respect for the Lake Michigan ecosystem and our planet. Now they need to switch to uncured nitrate and nitrite free hotdogs. I'd eat here more often if they did.
I've loved g&l from the time i was a kid! Always so good and friendly service. I wish they would add a vegetarian dog to the menu so I could enjoy the corn dogs and chili dogs again now that I'm vegetarian!! But I understand why they don't. My go-to order is now the buffalo fries with no chicken. Amazing. They still charge full price (8.50) when you get no chicken which is kinda annoying but worth it.
G&L Hot Dogs has been in business for many years. Even though the original location has closed, they have continued the tradition of having great food and hot dogs that you will want to go back to have for years to come.

With the dining room open and interaction with the staff makes eating enjoyable. I just wish the dining room was open longer on Sherman

G&L is always a nice spot to dine. Prices are reasonable and a decent selection. Plus they carry Mr. Pibb, which is always a win for me!

I had read about this place before, and finally tried it while in the area today. First off, service is good and the food comes out very fast! The shakes came out in about a minute, and they were good, and the hotdogs came out shortly after. The chili dogs are not a gimmick, they really are good! The steamed buns make a difference, and the chili sauce is great! The actually hot dog is good too, and the balance of chili, onions and mustard is on par. And the food is cheap! The three of us, with two milkshakes and a side of Greek fries, ate for $32!
Also, they're doing great at practicing social distancing. It's clearly marked where you can and can't sit. I thought that was cool.
