Always have a great experience everytime we come here. The sushi is amazing and fresh. Other entrees my family orders are fantastic as well. Beautiful presentation and kind servers. The view is nice as well. This will always be a go to restaurant of ours.
We ate at the roof top, if you sit directly by the windows there’s a huge beam that blocks you view so I would suggest sitting a table over from the windows. The food was fresh, tasty, and looked amazing. My food came out a little late but my server was quick to go check on it to bring it out. There was live music and a great atmosphere!
We really liked this place because they have free parking right next to the restaurant. The view is lovely, but there is a large metal beam at eye level height that blocks most of it if you sit towards the water front. Food is great though!
We spent a week at myrtle beach, and I think this was likely the best restaurant we ate at. We chose to sit on the top floor in the bar area. The view is nice and the atmosphere is great! Our server was excellent. The entrees are kind of on the higher priced side, so we opted to share appetizers and sushi. They have so many appetizer options to choose from that it was hard to decide. The pork gyoza are fried, not steamed. The dragon egg is delicious but very rich so make sure you have enough people to share if you are interested in that one. Finally, if you go to this restaurant and do not order the MUSSELS, you are absolutely doing it wrong. These mussels are, in fact, life changing. As a side note, we also opted for dessert, and the tiramisu was excellent. Overall, a great dinner.
The food was excellent. I got the grilled seafood platter, wife got the grilled salmon, and son got chicken marsala. All the food was great. Sorry pics were sfter we already dug into them. I also ordered a bunch of cocktails. The cucumber was my favorite, not too sweet, perfect. The wicked cocktail and another one was too sweet for me and the wife. The watermelon cocktail was pretty good too.
We were pretty happy with our dining experience. We stopped in for an early dinner and were immediately seated near the windows overlooking the beach. We got the Water-Melon and Strawberry Kiwi Mojito cocktails with an order of Pork Gyoza, Seaweed Salad, Mussels, and a Salmon Crunch Roll.
Pros:
-Overall each dish was very tasty and we finished just about everything we ordered.
-The food came out quickly and all at the same time (which we prefer).
-The portions were great; I've never had such a large serving of seaweed salad, which is one of my faves!
-The gyoza was yummy, crispy on the outside but still juicy and flavorful on the inside. Plenty of sauce too.
-You get a discount on the cost of walking the attached pier if you show your receipt from the restaurant.
Cons:
-The restaurant was pretty warm even though they had several blinds closed/lowered and 2 large fans going. It was slightly uncomfortable.
-There were mutliple errors on the menu. "Avacado" instead of avocado, "freid" instead of fried, and more punctuation errors/missing spaces as well.
-The entrees seemed a little pricey ($40-50) which is why we ordered from the app and sushi menu because we ended up getting 4 dishes and 2 cocktails for about the same price as 2 entrees alone.
-I ordered the Mussels and they were kinda spicy even though the menu didn't say anything about it. It was described as a "creamy tomato bacon broth," and I also did not taste bacon. The spice wasn't a problem for us, still ate all of them. My husband had a couple and didn't notice the spice (he loves spicy) and they were piping hot so I thought maybe that was why but after eating the rest of them I still thought they were kinda spicy. So just be cautious about ordering them or mention something to the waiter if you prefer zero spice. Ultimately I wouldn't order them again because I just didn't think the flavor profile held up as well as the classic garlic and white wine broth, but kudos for them trying something different.
Such a beautiful oceanfront restaurant. I wasn’t expecting it to be so elegant. The sushi is great. I haven’t gotten to try anything else but my goal was to get myself to like sushi and thanks to them I now like sushi. I got the Tempura Shrimp Roll and it was 11$. Great service and such a clean and fun environment.
This is a really nice spot. The view and service are both really good. The food was super flavorful too! The shrimp tacos were delish. And one of the desserts of the day was lemon blueberry cake, one of my favorite combos. I would have liked it to have a little more lemon flavor but our server did say it was "just a hint" of lemon and she was not wrong. Overall, can't go wrong here for dinner or lunch.
Update: went back and had the summer salad with a side of veggies & it was another home run.
Excellent service and attentiveness. The rice rolls were top notch as was the Boom Boom Grouper Bites - the best anywhere and top shrimp by a long way! The Kids Alfredo was Italian worthy!
Tsunami Roll
Wicked Tuna Roll
I loved! Food was delicious, the service was amazing, sophisticate vibe with a beautiful view. The oyster and the specialty rolls were our favorite. If you are visiting Myrtle Beach give a try at this restaurant.
