Great coffee! They had almond milk which I appreciated because we have a milk allergy in the family. The house-made cream cheese was amazing. I used the wifi to work for a few hours and it was very reliable. Great place with a lot of character!
Hits the spot. Great coffee. Amazing bagels and in house cream cheese!
This place is great! I was passing through Mystic and when I was walking around I stumbled upon this place. The lady working at this coffee house was friendly and very accommodating. I had my dogs with me and to my surprise she said they could come inside. I ordered my coffee, the dogs got treats and everything was perfect. Also my macchiato was very good. I will definitely stop by again, when I am in the area. Keep up the great customer service, it’s hard to find nowadays.
I really like this coffee shop, despite two serious liabilities: 1.) No bathroom, 2.) Temperature disregulation that leaves the inside of the cafe feeling like a Russian bathhouse even in the dead of January,
So why do I like this place? Because it is frequented by Mystic locals, it is quiet, there is a bar where I can stand and alternate between standing and sitting, which allows me to work for hours. I also really like that they serve herbal teas like licorice (late in the day if it is too close to bedtime to drink coffee a licorice tea gives me a middling boost) and I enjoy the local art they put on the walls.
As soon as the owner addresses any of my two complaints above I will up my score.
A wonderful hidden coffee shop off the main street. Head down the alley way and enter this quaint and fairly spacious shop with friendly staff and delicious coffee and selected baked goods and other drinks. The interior will surprise you with the space available and multiple tables and counter space to relax and enjoy your cold or hot beverage. If you are looking for a respite from Main Street, grab one of the tables inside or outside and enjoy this shop.
Great place and great coffee, ground and brewed all day! This plaxe has a great variety of house roasted beans! A great selection best Bagels you have tasted with different cream cheese's . Plenty of inside and out side seating to enjoy your "cup of joe" in the heart of Scenic and historic downtown Mystic!
Coffee was mediocre but I thoroughly enjoyed their bagels. I was so disappointed to find out that they ran out of the sunflower seed bagels (it is such a rarity that a place has this kind). However, the tomato bagel was really awesome as well. The veggie cream cheese was so fluffy and amazing too!! The garlic cream cheese was definitely a lot better but both are to die for! I really wanted to just eat the cream cheese by itself. It was so good that it warmed my heart. Definitely something so good to eat on a cold morning! The start of a perfect day starts with bagels and cream cheese from Green Marble and the staff were so amazingly friendly too. Def an awesome chill spot you'll have to visit.
This shop is more about feel than about 'did they get my order perfect'? The menu is not bad, the service is pretty decent, maybe you need to add more creamer to your drink, but if you can't relax for a half hour here you'll miss what I think it's really about. Play scrabble, hang with friends and strangers, pop into the old school music store next door ... it's Mystic (mostly) stripped of its polished commercial tourist appeal. You'll likely either love it or hate it.
